Lily Potter (née Evans) (30 January, 1960 – 31 October, 1981) was a Muggle-born witch, the younger daughter of Mr and Mrs Evans, and the younger sister of Petunia Evans.
It was such a special moment of my life when the wand chose me. I don’t think I’ll ever forget this moment. I don’t know how to use this wand right now. But that’s why I’m going to hogwarts, right?!!
Everyone talks about how sad it is that Petunia didn’t treat Harry right because if it had been reversed Lily would’ve loved Dudley. I want to expand on this but with James instead.
James would’ve taken Dudley on a broom with him so he could experience it.
James would’ve given Dudley a real bedroom.
James would’ve limited magic usage in the house to make Dudley more comfortable.
James would’ve sent Harry and Dudley to muggle school because he knew Dudley had a low chance of having magic.
James would’ve helped Dudley with his eating so he wouldn’t be picked on at school.
James would’ve treated Dudley as if he was his own son.
James would’ve been willing to sacrifice his life not only for Harry and Lily but also Dudley.
It’s a tragedy that James and Lily died and Petunia and Vernon mistreated Harry.
1978, there probably wasn’t a big real wedding, they were probably in hiding. But i love big goofy 80′s wedding dresses and the idea of them happy. its called ESCAPISM..
James can’t produce a patronus for ages, he just can’t stay focused.
DADA in the last year, when they’re learning it, Minnie just happens to be walking by and sees him struggle. She stops in on the class, and Lily finally provides a full body patronus of a doe. Minnie goes over to James and says to him quietly “Evans looks happy with hers,” and James looks at his girlfriend. She has a bright smile looking up at the creature from her wand.
James focuses on this, on Lily, on her smile. He holds our his wand once more and speaks the charm, and a large bright stag escapes his wand and joins the doe in the sky.
McGonagall said something then, barely loud enough for James to hear, and he can’t be sure that he did, but he thinks her heard her mutter “good job, Prongs.”
