Stuffed bell peppers with extra lean grass fed beef, wheat pearl couscous, jalapenos and a green smoothie (spinach, pear, cucumber). And yes, goat cheese, son! (traduccion abajo)

Approx macros per serving: 294 calories, 27g protein, 31g carbs, 7g fat 

Recipe: (1) Set the oven to 450F. Season grass fed ground meat. I used paprika and Mrs. Dash Southwest chipotle. Cook in a skillet and toss in diced jalapenos. (2) In a separate pot, cook couscous until finished. (3) Add the cooked couscous to the meat when it has finished cooking and add 1/8 cup no sodium chicken/beef broth. Cook for roughly 3 minutes on the skillet on medium heat. (4) Cut the tops off 2 bell peppers and remove the inside. Place the mixture of beef and couscous in the bell peppers. (5) Bake in the oven for about 10 - 12 minutes. (6) Smash them! Makes 2 servings using 7oz extra lean ground beef and 1/3 cup wheat pearl couscous (measured dry).

Pimientos rellenos de carne de vacuno magra (alimentado de hierba), cuscús perla de trigo, jalapeños y un batido verde (espinacas, pera, pepino). Y sí, queso de cabra!

Macros Aprox por porción: 294 calorías, 27g de proteínas, 31g de carbohidratos, 7g de grasas

Receta: (1) Poner el horno a 450F. Condimentar la carne con pimentón y Mrs. Dash sabor suroeste chipotle. Cocinar en una sartén y añadir los jalapeños picados. (2) En una olla aparte, cocer el cuscús hasta que termine. (3) Añadir el cuscús cocido a la carne cuando se ha terminado de cocinar y agregar 1/8 taza de caldo (sin sodio) de pollo o carne. Cocer durante unos 3 minutos en la sartén a fuego medio. (4) Cortar las tapas de dos pimientos y sacar el interior. Colocar la mezcla de carne y cuscús en los pimientos. (5) Cocer en el horno durante unos 10 - 12 minutos. (6) Disfrutarlos! La receta hace 2 porciones utilizando 7oz de carne molida magra y 1/3 taza de cuscús de trigo perla (medida en seco).

You can purchase these at Central Market, Farmer’s Market and Whole Paycheck (Foods). Make this day memorable! Boom.

Ingredients: Arugula, edible flowers, strawberries, sliced almonds, goat cheese and your choice of vinaigrette dressing! The purple flowers I think taste the best. Tag your friend if you know he is #ManDown today!

Idea de ÚLTIMO MINUTO para el dia San Valentín > Si te olvidaste comprarle rosas, puedes hacer una ensalada con flores comestibles!

Y estas cuestan mucho menos ($5) que las rosas y te lo juro esta ensalada sin duda hará que su corazón se derrita. Ella va a decir “Oh Dios mio, tengo un hombre quien cocina comida rica en mi casa - un Fit Men Cook. ” Te prometo! Usted puede comprar estos en el Central Market, el Mercado de Agricultores y Whole Paycheck (o mejor dicho Whole Foods). Haz que este día queda una buena memoria para ella! Boom. 

Ingredientes: rúcula, flores comestibles, fresas, almendras rebanadas, queso de cabra y su elección de aderezo de vinagreta! En mi opinion, creo que las flores moradas tienen el mejor sabor.

What are you going to do today to show your body how much you care? Me? I’m going to treat this like any other day and eat fresh veggies & fruits with every meal and squeeze in some light exercise with cardio.

Today, I am reminded of one of my favorite scriptures, 3 John 1:2, that says “I pray that you may prosper in every way and be in good health physically just as you are spiritually.”
