SEVEN HINTS FOR SEVEN STORIES!!

GUYS THE GLOWING LETTERS SPELL OUT NIBBLY MUST EAT!! COS HE’S THE ONE WHO FEASTS IN THE DARK!!

I think that there aren’t spaces between the words much like the smaller letters but the colours break up each clue! So that would mean that we go to maret which would give us abst_ _ence c_ _p. The first word is clearly abstinence but the second one could be camp or CCRP. However based on the imagery I think camp is more likely. Also Mariah replied this lol which i’m taking as 2.

Also abstinence doesn’t always mean sex see??

That’s what I think it is anyways:

Okay so the only words that end with aben are graben and paraben so green is almost definitely Mare meaning that so far they are following the lords in black colour scheme and appearance order: Pokey/Blue, Wiggly/Green, Blinky/Purple

Guys these clues sounds like Webby’s hints to Hannah!! Like “bad blood, cross, black and white”, “Don’t do it, two doors not one”, “Bad place, black and white” sounds very much like “honey queen, perky’s buds”

Okay so obviously by now we know they’re spelling Nightmare Time but I think they’re going to end up spelling Nightmare Time Season 2. Because the colour schemes they’re currently following is the colours of the Lords in Black and there are 5 of them and you get that if you split it:

Night

Mare

Time

Season

2

As well as this the amount of letters lines up with who’s posting it

Because there are 13 letters left in that sentence and there is 9 actors remaining. However if you anticipate Nick posting one, Paul Gabriel posting one, Matt maybe posting one and then announcing Ziggs’ actor who posts one and then finishing back on the Starkid account it’d line up with 13 because I can’t see another way of them having all of them posting one.

But I do think each word/row is a different colour as well as being accompanied with a different quote from the Nightmare Time theme and a different emoji as Curt and Corey’s have different captions to everyone else.

It’s partially because of that that I think Curt’s post is the M in Mare rather than in time because Curt’s lyric of “are you fast enough” appears before Corey’s “the timer is ticking down” in the theme song.

Okay besties here’s what I’ve got:

  • Honey queen/bee imagery:

The Hatchetfield Honey Festival. A Mariah character is crowned the honey queen… potentially Miss T with honey herself Zoey??

  • Perky’s buds/farm imagery:

Perky sounds like a nickname probably given to the Perkin’s sisters in high school. Buds could be weed. Meaning it’s potentially about Emma’s weed farm

  • The Hatchet in the log-2 possibilities

Number 1- The Hatchet Men and the tree-people more info on the Hatchetfield witch trials and such

Number 2 (more likely)- Lumberaxe the mad woodsman who was mentioned alongside Chumby and Willabella in the Hatchetfield Ape-Man

Also Mariah and I had this interaction so…

MAJOR props to @hatchetfieldtheories cos them lining up the images like that is a lifesaver for my brain

I’ve updated the Hatchetfield Lore Master Doc to include the stuff from Jim’s streams! I’m planning to sit down and finally type up my notes from NMT2 in the coming weeks. (I have everything down I just need to write them up lol)https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1buxPy95OEaISfnfxXsfqkWHKP2hOOeErawwk7bdGzRQ/mobilebasic

So um… Matt confirmed timeline split theory?? I am screaming??

I TOLD YOU ALL THAT JENNY IS DEAD IN EVERY TIMELINE!! I TOLD YOU!!

I think Casey might be on of Miss Holloway’s three girls…

Okay so on one of her streams recently Mariah said this (I’ve edited out the game dialogue bits in-between)

And it got me thinking…

We’ve all pretty much guessed for a year that the 80s pop star on Casey’s shirt was Miss Holloway but NMT2 all but confirmed it… “the whole world has FORGOTTEN”. The pop star is one of Miss Holloway’s old personas!!!!

I (and I’m sure everyone) just assumed this was an “oh it’s been a while since the 80s lost to time” sort of thing BUT NO!! THEY’VE ACTUALLY FORGOTTEN HER. So we have such a clear connection between Miss Holloway and Casey already and then I kept thinking about what Mariah said.

Casey is dead right?? She got buried by the Hatchet Men meaning she had the gift and she was killed for it. That sure as hell sounds like someone who Miss Holloway couldn’t save right?? And to add onto this Mariah played one of the girls in the 3-girl creature!! Add that to the fact that Casey was the only tree-person named and that Nick is discussing her character with Mariah (he wouldn’t do that for a one-off background character) I think it’s very likely we’re gonna be seeing Miss Casey again and it’s gonna be HEARTBREAKING

Excuse me, why did no one tell me there’s a Nightmare Time 2??? I had to find out from a meme-

Chapter Summary: Emma tugged at Paul’s hand, pulling him through to the dining room. Paul sat on the edge of the dining table.

‘I know when we talked about kids, we said we’d wait a couple of years until we were more settled, but —‘

‘Emma.’ Paul spoke without hesitation, his voice gentle, but firm. He grasped her arms lightly and pulled her in between his legs. He leaned forward to rest his forehead against hers. ‘Of course we’re going to take Tim in.’

I realized recently that something I had thought for the past decade was a plot hole in the A Very Potter Musical trilogy is not actually a plot hole.  At the end of AVPS, Harry asks Dumbledore why he had to grow up in the muggle world, and Dumbledore says he didn’t want Harry to grow up in a place where all of this wasn’t special.  But Harry doesn’t ask the follow-up question: given that he had to grow up in the muggle world, why did Dumbledore leave him with abusive muggles instead of a foster family who would actually love him?  The musicals never explain it, and until recently I thought it was a plot hole.  The books do explain it, but that explanation is tied with the books’ handling of elves for my least favorite plot point in the series, so I greatly preferred not having it answered in the musicals.

But recently I asked myself: how do we know the Dursleys are abusive?  Maybe they aren’t abusive at all, and Lockhart simply changed them to be abusive in the books to make it sell better.  At the beginning of AVPM, Harry says he doesn’t deserve the rules made by the Dursleys.  But Harry is 12, so him thinking his guardians are making bad rules doesn’t necessarily mean they were actually bad parents.  And he’d rather go back to Hogwarts than stay with the Dursleys, but in the song itself Harry focuses more on how awesome Hogwarts is and and how awesome being the Boy Who Lived is than how he wants to get away from bad family.

In AVPS, Harry tells Hermione that before coming to Hogwarts, he was not a popular kid in the muggle world: he was what’s known as a douchebag.  He assures her that even though she wasn’t popular in the muggle world either, she can be cool and have a place in Hogwarts (and write his ancient runes essay, of course).  That conversation suggests Harry prefers the magic world due to the social interactions with his peers, not due to having a bad muggle family.  And crucially, When Dumbledore gives his talk about our time away from Hogwarts being what makes it special, Harry doesn’t think to ask Dumbledore the follow-up question, perhaps because Harry himself realizes the Dursleys aren’t a bad family: they just treat him like a normal kid and not a superhero.

Now, I admit there are some possible issues with this interpretation.  In AVPS, Harry tells Ron he’s been living in a cupboard under the stairs.  That could be explained by assuming the Dursleys are poor, not mean, which would make it extra exciting for Harry when he discovers he is rich in the wizarding world.  However, I admit that probably isn’t what the Lang brothers were thinking.

Then there’s the entire song “To Have a Home.”  Again, it’s at least possible that Harry feels more at home at Hogwarts because he has a whole school of peers who think he’s cool and isn’t worried about having enough to eat, in a way he wouldn’t feel in the tiny house of the Dursleys (if they are poor) and having no friends.  This could be similar to how, in NMT Season 2, Episode 4, Hannah feels more at ease around her psychic teenage friends than she previously felt in Lex’s tiny appartment, despite the fact that she has a perfectly loving guardian.

I should also note that it’s been several years since I did a full rewatch of AVPS, so there might be other issues with this idea that I forgot about.

I really enjoyed watching “Yellow Jacket,” but afterwards, but as soon as it ended I felt like it missed something.

Warning: This post contains spoilers for Nightmare Time Season 2.

Throughout the entire final episode of NMT Season 2, we never get to see Hannah use her powers for good.  Every time Hannah uses her powers, it is to advance Pokey’s plan.

The episode opens with Hannah getting a vision sent by Pokey, which leads to her expensive medical bills and gives her an incentive to get involved in a lucrative but risky endeavor.  She wins an arcade game that exists to help Pokey find psychic adolesents.  And she wins a bunch of show matches against other victems of Pokey in a game which only exists as a cover for Pokey’s real scheme.

Hannah then takes control of Ethan to get him to agree to what Pokey wants, and uses “tremendous power” to excise Pokey’s oldest enemy from her mind.

But when the spotlight illuminates the stage for the climax, Hannah, the “shatterpoint” and the “most powerful
psychic mind in the history of reality,” is reduced to a mere damsel in distress.  She can’t fight Pokey, and she can’t escape.  Instead, it falls to Webby, Lex, and Ethan to save her.  Lex gets no help from Hannah in destroying Pokey’s body, and Ethan gets no help in engineering their escape.

During the VIP talkback, it was suggested that Hannah could heal Starfire and the other person who was enveloped by Pokey, but the episode doesn’t actually show this happen.

Black Friday similarly lacks a chance for Hannah to show us her powers, but Hannah isn’t really meant to be the main character of Black Friday.

Adding to my frustration is the fact that only small tweaks to the climax would be necessary to address this criticism.  They could have showed Hannah healing Starfire, either during her fight or immediately after Pokey explodes.  Hannah could have used her power to pull Lex to her instead of Webby doing it.  Or, Hannah could have teleported Ethan next to Chuck instead of Ethan being able to get their himself.  If the writers had done any one of these things, Hannah would have been more than a damsel in distress during the climax of her own story.

I still enjoyed watching the film, but the fact that Hannah doesn’t gets the chance she deserves stops it from being my favorite in Season 2.

A section of dialgoue from Starkid’s “Forever and Always”  that was in the script and the livestream was cut from the final conversation between Emma and Paul, and it significantly changes the context of the rest of their dialogue in that scene. The missing dialogue was in between Paul’s line “and taking his place,” and “I know things aren’t perfect.”  Why @the-real-team-starkid?

Warning: This post contains spoilers for Starkid’s “Time Bastard” and “The Witch in the Web.”

InStarship, we learn that in the recent past (less than a generation ago), the robots of earth rebelled against their creators in the Robot Wars.  Also, much of the world is under the control of a giant, shady organization: the Galactic League of Extraterrestrial Exploration, who are always making twisted abominations out of everything.

In “Time Bastard,” we see a future where a giant shady corporation is trying to create an army of robot workers.  But each of these robots will have human-level sentience, as at least one of them definitely rebels (the Emma Android that replaces the original Emma).

Hence, I claim that Starship  is the future of the timeline of Hatchetfield shown in “Forever and Always” and “Time Bastard.”  CCRP later reincorporates as the G.L.E.E., and the robots who don’t travel back in time eventually rebel and start the Robot Wars.

For any of this to work, the Lords in Black have to die.  In fact, they must die well before the Robot Wars, since the Starship Rangers believed that god was “long dead” 18 years before the events of the musical.  Whether they are killed by Webby, Hannah, or some other entity that we don’t know about, I don’t know.

I expect the Hivemind-controlled pod-people from TGWDLM would also agree that “the needs of the many singing and dancing alien pod-people outweigh the needs of the few singing and dancing alien pod-people, or the one singing and dancing alien pod-person.”

ladies if he’s got:

  • the size that humbles
  • the hands that rumble
  • the steps that crumble ground (oh the sound)
  • his mind on your liver (and you know what he will deliver)

sorry to say he’s not your man

he’s The Axe Man

tbh i expected ezekiel to be like. Another Evil Joey Richter Guy but it ended up much better

With NMT2 breaking up Lex and Ethan I vote the community as a whole form a protective wall around Tom and Becky to shield them from the menace that is Nick and Matt

They should turn Hatchetfield into a oversaturated and overexposed mess of a franchise like The MCU, I’m tired of waiting until October I want new content every week /j
