we’re a little late because we were barely online on the actual 1st oops

so this is actually something we should have done a long time ago but we weren’t exactly comfortable with a lot of this when we first made the blog

long story short: we’re a system! for people who don’t know: a system is multiple people in one body. we have about 24 known members. we’re also autistic! the body is autistic, so all of us display at least some autistic traits.

additionally, a lot of us are what’s referred to as fictives which is a member of a system who is/is based on/is a version of a character. many fictives (all of us) have memories of what happened in the media we’re from (referred to as exomemories) and some of us (including me) were autistic before (canon or not), so we make a lot of jokes about us being double autistic

we all love star trek (huge special interest! plus we have 4 fictives from star trek and 2 of us who are canonically trekkies so that’s pretty cool) and books with lgbtq+ characters (though some of us have more trouble reading than others, thanks dyslexia and probable ADHD and the double dyslexics in here too), and we all knit

the body is 21 and we have varying ages! i’m 18, the youngest who might post is 15 and our oldest is… well, he won’t tell anybody but on the occasions he’s asked he says “almost certainly older than you”.

if people have questions (asked nicely) we’re happy to at least try to answer them though this kind of thing doesn’t always have nice clean answers!

who does the prompt each day might change (almost definitely, since our old host stepped down we haven’t had any one person front for more than about a week at a time) so that’ll be super fun

This is something I haven’t seen mentioned yet regarding Moon Knight, but is something I feel may be important enough to make a post about. See, Moon Knight is a show about a character who has DID, and so far according to many systems it’s done an okay job of representing the disorder. Hooray, more representation! This may lead to less stigmatization of this often misunderstood disorder. However… That’s not the only thing that may result from this new show being out.

Please remember that with representation of a disorder often comes an uptick in diagnoses of the disorder. We may very well be seeing more people learning they have DID in the future thanks to increased awareness of what it’s like! This has happened before in our community with media such as with Sybil, and we-I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened again. With Moon Knight’s representation of DID, especially from a large and widely beloved franchise such as Marvel, it’s likely that DID as a whole will become more well known in a more positive light, leading to more psychiatrists and psychologists willing to diagnose their patients with it, as well as more people who may come to learn that they might have DID (and not to mention people who might have been previously diagnosed with DID who come out about having it due to positive representation making it safer for them to do so).

Please do not be surprised if more people come forward about having DID following the release and continuation of Moon Knight. Despite what might be your gut instinct, they’re likely not “claiming to have it as part of a fad due to the show,” but rather, were only recently diagnosed or felt safe enough to come out due to Moon Knight’s influence. And that’s a good thing! More people will be able to learn important things about themselves or share important things with those they care about.

In conclusion, Moon Knight’s DID representation may lead to more people being diagnosed with and/or coming forward about having DID. Remember to be kind to those new in our communities, and don’t fakeclaim other systems!

And plurality in general, the plural rep could also lead to non-DID systems realising they are systems and/or disclosing plurality

Really showing some self restraint here, I feel. Going back and fourth back and fourth. Should We? Shouldn’t We? We want to try to clear up psychosis and also not make it worse. We are taking the smallest dose of lsd We think We’ve taken since We started Psychedelic Therapy. About 100mcg. Teen wanted to do 200mcg but Brother actually talked him out of it. He said just to do a little for medicine. Basically that’s what he was saying. But yeah, today We walked to the store by ourself (bad idea) everything went relatively fine but when We got home and went to unlock our door We got freaked out. We swore someone had come up the stairs behind us but there was no one. Then it felt like they kept sneaking up behind us. There wasn’t anyone there. We will see if this dose makes a difference.

Like especially for sources that aren’t that common or well known. Sometimes even well known ones can be hard to find at times. I’ve been thinking of finding a sourcemates blog or making one for myself to find others from the same source but idk.

Edd wants to find a sourcemate from his source, like Matt, Tom, Tord from Eddsworld etc.

Even our factive Edward wants to see his friends again. Like Tom (tomska), Matt, or Tord, even if it’s not from his world even another version of the counterparts would still be pretty cool.

So, of course me and Edward have our own blog we work on together, but for more personal and discoursey stuff (sometimes discourse) we’ll do all that in this blog. So, is there anything you guys wanna know about me or want me to blog about? 
For example, info on all my headmates, my system name, anything you want me to add to the blog like submission and such? Or if you wanna ask me any asks you can also do that because the ask box is open. Anyway yeah. All that will help me get this blog thing thriving as well. I’m planning to change my background to like a background of all of us together that’d be pretty cool oml but I’m just not in the drawing mood at all which really sucks.

If your system can’t switch or switches rarely, that’s perfectly fine. You’re not broken or fake, being semi permanently or even permanently frontstuck is a common experience.

Persecutors in systems deserve to be respected. You’re not evil, your existence isn’t a burden. You’re people too.

If your system functions differently to everyone elses, that doesn’t mean that it’s less real. Plurality is such a varied experience and no two systems function the same way. You’re real, you’re valid, and you’re no lesser for being different.

It’s okay if you can’t figure out if your identity is psychological, spiritual or something else in nature. Your identity is important regardless of why it exists and you don’t need to fit into any boxes to make yourself valid.
