The first post are some clothing designs for her, I liked them all but I think the second stood out the most so I went with it. The rest are some colors schemes I played with, I thought blue suited her more

Tbh I have a lot of Thra animals that I like, but these are my top favorites. I loved fizzgigs since the first time I watched the movie so they will hold a special place in my heart.
Terberfrocs just looked so cute and I’m glad we got to look at one for a few seconds in the original film. Just look At THEM!!
And Lunarkins are just adorable to me, they’re little floating orbs and I would keep one if they didn’t die once captured.

In honor of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance’s Second Anniversary, we are working in a Great Conjunction (*wink*) with @thra-athon to sponsor a celebratory event for this wonderful fandom.
Starting Monday, August 30, and ending Sunday, September, 5, 2021, Create for Thra is designed to be a celebration and fun experience for fans to submit artwork, fanfiction, and all manner of creation related to the world of Thra and the week’s themes! You can focus on one character/ships, or you can use the full cast of characters. We are so excited to see what you create!
Here are the themes for the week:
August 30 — Day One: Creature Feature - Draw or write a story about your favorite Thra-creature, or post artwork of your own Thra-Creature Creation.
August 31 — Day Two: Original Characters - Introduce us to your original character within the world of Thra. Words, images, sculptures, dolls, puppets… the world of Thra is, as they say, your… gobble? Hm…
September 1 — Day Three: Where in the World? / Home Is Where the Heart Is - Show us your favorite locale on Thra with art or words, or create something about your favorite character in the little piece of Thra they call home.
September 2 — Day Four: Scene Work - Draw/write an interpretation of your favorite scene, or create your own deleted scene from the show. What occurred offscreen that you would have liked to see? What would your favorite scene have looked like from a different character’s eyes?
September 3 — Day Five: What Was Sundered and Undone - The Division of the UrSkeks… the splitting of the Seven Clans… the cracking of the Crystal of Truth. Many things on Thra have been torn apart. Create a piece about this topic.
September 4 — Day Six: “There are many paths laid before us, some good, most bad.” - Create a story or drawing about the differing paths Aughra sees. Brea tells her mother to imagine the possibilities - what can you imagine?
September 5 — Day Seven: A Great Conjunction - “Alright, together then!” From the reunification of the Skeksis and Mystics and the Gelfling fires of resistance, the alliance of the Arathim and the Gelfling, to our favorite Podling Paladin, unity is an important concept during the Age of Resistance. Make a creation about embracing unity instead of continuing division!
It isn’t required to participate for the entire week. If you’d just like to submit a piece of work for only one of the theme days, that’s completely fine! Please be sure that any work submitted is new content.

1) Tag your work properly so that any parties who are either a) too young for certain subject matter, or b) concerned about potentially unsavory subject matter, may make informed decisions about what works they do and do not want to engage with.

School just started a couple days ago, and getting back to in-person classes after a year of being remote stressfull as HELL.
So here are some modern au/high school au skeksis that I drew during a homework break!
I had a whole lot of fun drawing these guys, especially Ekt, Mal and Sa. I couldn’t add as much detail as I wanted since these were just head shots, but I did what I could lol. So obviously Skekso would be the principal, and skeksil would be the Vice Principal, and skektek is the science teacher. I tried to make Skekmal look athletic, threatening but still look like a Hall monitor??? (Ex-Hall monitor I mean).
I definelty had the most fun drawing Skekekt, they have such a flamboyant design an personality and I tried my best to make them look feminine while having some masculinity as well but I think it kinda backfired. I really love Skeksa, she’s one of my fav skeksis and aside from Skekekt I feel like I gave her the best design. I really love how the blue hair turned out. SkEkGrA i’M sO sOrRy!!!! I just kinda got lost on what to do with him so I settled with what I drew and I’m not that proud of it. Idk it might just be me…
I didn’t really want to cry today, but here we are Lol :’)
So we all know that Rian’s mom Shoni doesn’t make an appearance in the series and there is a possibility that she won’t make an appearance in the future.
I have seen a lot of head canons as to what might have happened to her and this is just my addition to those head canons. I think that it’s possible that Shoni might have died while giving birth Rian/ or she died shortly after he was born, this could explain her absence as well as the absence of Rian’s younger siblings. I’m probably not the only person who has thought of this but that’s okay.
I wrote the lyrics from “Dear Theodosia Reprise” to add more effect.
This one is kinda rushed and I’m not really proud of it but it’s fine.
So there are a lot of people who debate whether Brea or Kylan is the one to plant the first kiss and I kinda flip flop between the two. However I feel like Brea would definitely be most likely to do it and just imagining it and Kylan being thrown completely off guard by it just makes me so happy.
So I imagine that during Brea’s visit to Sami thicket that she and Kylan sneak off after everyone goes to bed and he takes her out to a field and there are just a bunch of stars out in the sky. Since Brea lived in the city all her life she had never seen this many stars before (and you BET that brought a book or her journal or something).
I got this idea from when my mom took me out to visit my grandparents further out in the country and there were a bunch of stars out since we were further away from the city and lights. I love stargazing scenes in movies since they are just so romantic and imagining these is just
Also since I found out about Royal melody week on like two days ago some of my submissions will be late.
I drew the Drenchen siblings as humans for my high school AU. I included Eliona and Pemma as well since I feel like they don’t get mentioned a whole lot.
So in this AU Maudra Laesid would be in charge of the swimming team with Naia being vice president. Gurjin is on the team and is currently their best team members.
Since Eliona and Pemma don’t really have a description in the books, I had to think up my interpretations of what they’d look like. It was harder to think of what they’d look like as humans than as gelfling for some reason lol. But anyway,Eliona would not be as involved in the swim team as her older siblings. Instead I feel like she would be more interested in Environemntal or geography class. And Pemma would be in the elementary school, which would be a branch off of Thra high school (that’s what I’m calling it for now).
I’m feeling like drawing human Amri just to pull together the entire book squad.
I only decided to draw the four main otps that I ship the most currently, because if I drew every single one it would take way too long lol.
So first up we have Rian x Deet obviously, I will always ship these two and I miss them every single day.
Next we have Zenitsu and Nezuko from Demon Slayer, I haven’t read the whole manga yet but I like their dynamic so far in the anime and I can’t wait to see where their relationship goes.
Now this is one of my older otps that have been reawakened as of recently. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve drawn Yuri! On Ice stuff and after a recent rewatch I just remembered how much I loved these two. (Still waiting for that movie/season 2 lol)
And finally we have Chiaki and Hajime from Danganronpa 2. I really liked them together when I watched the play through of the game, but the anime really made me love their relationship, and I cried many tears .
- after Deet was saved, they didn’t get into a relationship right away, in fact it took them a while to become “official”
- With the sudden appearance of the garthim, the resistance just being formed and everything they’ve been through, it took a little while for them to straighten out their emotions.
- I feel like when the resistance comes to a hiatus of sorts is when they finally share their feelings for each other
- Deet initiates their first ever kiss, that is my stand until a season two says otherwise
- With what we’ve seen of Rian’s flirting skills so far I just feel like Deet would be the one to do it
- Rian was a blushing stuttering mess lol
- They like to tease each other sometimes, Deet likes calling him all the day lighter names in the book
- Since this will take place during the Garthim war, free time is scarce. Any time they spend together is precious, whether it’s something simple like a hug or the rare occasions that they actually get to go on dates
- Which might consist of small picnics or maybe some late night walks. Or just laying in a field talking about nothing in particular
- Rian is big spoon. That’s it. He might be little spoon but only once or twice and no more
- They also sleep in the “sweetheart cradle” position a lot too
- Deet would wake up much earlier than Rian but sometimes she won’t get up until Rian does and she might just lay there for an extra hour or so until he wakes up
- Rian loves kisses, giving and receiving. All kinds of kisses too forehead kisses, cheek kisses, deep long ones, playful pecks on the lips you name it. Like he would just be standing there doing his thing and then Deet would just walk up and kiss him and he wouldn’t be able to stop himself from blushing or smiling.
- And then one hour later he will walk up to Deet and give her some kisses too
- Speaking of Deet she also loves kisses, she’s more of a giver than a receiver but she loves getting them nonetheless
- I feel like whenever Rian gets hurt or is just reckless with his safety in general Deet would be the kind of person to be genuinely worried and then when finding out he’s okay give him an hour long scolding on how he should be more careful
RoyalMelody (Brea x Kylan)
- Okay Rian and Deet took a little while to get together, but these guys are literally the biggest slow burn you’ll ever see
- Like Kylan would just be literally staring at her with the biggest lovey doe eyes you’ll ever see, and she would just either not notice or brush it off as something else
- This ship won’t be as obvious as stonegrot either. It will be small doses of pining until we get to the big stuff so hold your horses.
- But eventually the mutual flirting will become way more obvious as time passes
- The first kiss will be random and maybe a little awkward (these babies have no experience, so be easy on them )
- Kylan is just the sweetest thing, he will always ask her if she needs anything or if she is doing okay if she seems upset or under a lot of pressure.
- Sometimes Brea will try to say she is okay when she isn’t so that way Kylan doesn’t have to worry, he sees through her lies sometimes
- Kylan is a blanket hog during cold nights but Brea lets him have them, since she’s is used to cold weather
- Kylan. Is. The. Little. Spoon.
- Actually Brea can be the little spoon sometimes…
- At first they were kinda weary about letting their relationship go out to anyone other than their friends, Brea was especially anxious about letting Seladon know, but as the days went on they started doing more PDA
- SPEAKING OF PDA..!!!
- Brea had to be the one to initiate it at the start
- Kylan would always get kinda nervous about overstepping boundaries and his face would turn red every time
- But eventually he got confident enough to hold her hand in public, he still needs to get used to other stuff
- Brea likes his songs and stories, sometimes he’ll sing to her when she finds it hard to fall asleep, she’ll memorize every new story he tells or comes up with
- Since Brea was raised in the life of royalty I don’t think she has a whole lot of experience with cooking
- Luckily there’s Kylan to help change that! Kind of… . It was a bit of a mess the first time
Royalhimbo (Seladon x Gurjin)
- these guys…
- It wasn’t romantic at first
- More like some sort of friendship
- Both being kids of a Maudra I would assume they at least kinda knew each other? Maybe..?
- The fact that she said his name when they hugged indicates much since I don’t think she would know or remember his name from their brief meet in the dream space (if you even call that a meeting)
- But if they didn’t know each other beforehand then I suppose they got to know each other after the second battle of Stone in the Wood
- Seladon’s first thoughts on Gurjin was that he was funny, but also a little obnoxious at times and she would never think in a million years that she would fall in love with a guy like him
- Boy was she wrong
- Gurjin kinda dropped hints that he liked her
- Dropping her random compliments in their conversations, finds excuses to try to be with her
- And she didn’t think much of these little details, but she wasn’t completely oblivious either.
- She didn’t mind though, in fact she thought it was nice to have someone other than her sisters to just casually talk with
- However she didn’t quite realize that she liked him back until she caught herself thinking about him, giggling over something funny he said earlier that day. That’s when she was like “oh shit, I think I might like this guy”
- Okay so let’s get one thing straight, Gurjin is way better at this flirting stuff than Seladon alright. She did not know any of this stuff and it was kinda cringey and awkward when she tried lol
- Gurjin likes to tease her sometimes,and he helps lighten her up when she feels too stressed or when she starts to doubt her capability of being all-Maudra
- They don’t do spooning, however Seladon will just simple snuggle into Gurjin’s shoulder as he pets her hair
- They secretly hold hands under the table
Drenchgrot (Naia x Amri)
- This isn’t necessarily a headcanon but more of a thought, but didn’t they technically have their first kiss in Tides where they had to save the tree in the Crystal Desert? Or are we just gonna write that off?? I’m just wondering
- Anyway, to the actual headcanons
- Amri would get along well with Pemma and Eliona, however Gurjin would act like he didn’t really care and he kinda put on a little bit of that “protective brother” persona around him
- But we all know he liked him, he just didn’t want to show it
- With Naia’s healing vliyaya and Amri’s concoctions, these guys were the medics of the resistance
- Doctor couple
- Naia is the big spoon, Amri just snuggles up against her and it is the cutest thing

It’s not the puppet part we’re attracted to. That would make it gross and weird. They’re well-designed fictional characters with great writing and we find them attractive like we would any good-looking human character in fiction media.
