@cultivating-wildflowers has been rereading LOTR and mentioned that since Tom Bombadil had been around since forever, he was there before the firstborn elves. He was basically their introduction to sentient beings. Which is super funny but also super terrible because imagine being an elf, exploring and trying to learn about this new world you’ve found yourself in, and suddenly this strange, short man comes prancing by, singing nonsense, and you begin to question everything you’ve learned so far.
Melkor ’s farewell in the War of Wrath ) The sketch has been around since the 19th year, but it has become more relevant now, in the sense that no one knows when they will have to say goodbye to the fandom. No, I’m going to draw it while there’s a playground, just who knows. So if anything - it was cool, fun and “I did it my way”)
There she is!! It’s been ages since I drew her ^^ this time tho, she’s in the clothes of Isabella van Bourbon (1436-1465). The painting of her I chose has no known painter, but it’s been guessed to have come from the Flemish school! It took me ages to draw the hair so I’m going let my hand rest now for a bit ^^
Look, I’m going to try to make the hat look good… be glad I already allowed her to keep her hair instead of her looking basically bald (nothing against bald people at all, but in the 15th century it did not look good or natural with those hats)
This is for the dtiys challenge from the amazing and wonderful @silmaspens !!! This was truly a challenge to do, but I had fun testing my limits ^^ I hope I did their artwork justice!!
