Litha {Fantasy} Feast

Continuing the tradition of making fantasy feasts that one day I will get to enjoy for real. (Imbolc,Ostara,Beltane, x Lughnasadth,Mabon,Samhain,Yule) .

 This is a fire festival that marks the first day of summer so the themes are citrus for the sun, spiciness, FIRE and enjoying the company of loved ones outdoors. You can look at my post of personal correspondences for more info or follow my summer solstice tag!

Starters:
Grilled Sriracha Chicken Kebabs
Roasted Roma Tomatoes (or sun dried)
Sriracha Honey Hot Dogs

Sides:
Jalapeno poppers
Cucumumber Tomato Salad

Main:
BBQ Sriracha Ribs
Traditional Paella

Dessert:
Lemon Tart (I would make a powdered sugar sun instead of star)
Orange Creamsicle ice cream cake
Salt Water Taffy Bonbons

Drinks:
Lemonade
Grapefruit Shandy(Shoffenhoffer is summer in liquid form especially on tap)
Mead
Flaming Shots

Beltane {Fantasy} Feast

So I did this for the others ( Imbolc,Ostara,Litha,Lughnasadth,Mabon,Samhain, Yule) so I will continue the tradition of creating dream feasts for every sabbat. One day I will have the money to do this.. one day.. I can fulfill my dreams of being a pagan martha stewart..

Starters:
Roasted Red Beet Hummus
Radish Tartines
(This one is delicious with smoked Salmon)
Spring Rolls with Pansies*
Radish Flowers

Sides:
White Asparagus
Red Cabbage Salad with Pistachios

Maincourse:
Duck with Red Cabbage 
The picture features Pork but I would choose Chicken or Duck
Artichokes with Dip

Desserts:
Flower Pot Cookie Crumble Cake
Rose Buttercream Cream Cake
Mushroom Meringues (recipe)
French Almond Lavender Cake with Lemon Glaze
Chocolate Violet Flower Cake

Drinks:
Rose Tea
Fairy Floss Cocktail
Lilac Lemon Fizz

Ostara {Fantasy} Feast

To fulfill some requests I have done a fantasy feast for Ostara too! (Others: Imbolc, Beltane,Litha,Lughnasadth,Mabon,Samhain,Yule). There’s so much more green things and things in season for Ostara that compiling this feels a bit more chaotic than the previous one.

Starters:
Colored Deviled Eggs(Link to how to dye food naturally)*
Spring Pea Crostini (with herbs prosciutto and burrata)

Sides:
Roasted Carrots
String Beans (not pictured but a classic)
Refreshing and Creamy Cucumber Salad with Dill
Butterhead Lettuce

Maincourse:
Honey Dijon Garlic Chicken
Loaded Vegetable Spring Quiche

Desserts:
Cheesecake filled chocolate easter eggs  

I would swap cheesecake with custard

Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
Cream Sodas (flavored pistachio, vanilla almond and violet)
or Robin Egg Creams (an egg cream is just a creamy soda made with seltzer, syrup flavor and cream)
Floral and herbal flavored macarons

Drink Options:
Violet Fizz Soda (the recipe is a cocktail but it could be served as either)
Fresh Carrot Juice
Matcha Mint Mojito
