⋆☆⋆ Shower Steamers ⋆☆⋆

Don’t have a bath and still want to relax? Want the spa-like experience without the high costs? Want a lovely way to pamper yourself? Then go ahead and try out this DIY bath steamer recipe.

Ingredients & Necessary Items:
❅ Silicone Mold
❅ Glass Bowl
❅ Whisk
❅ Measuring Utensils
❅ Face Mask
❅ Baking Soda (8oz or 1cup)
❅ Citric Acid (8oz or 1 cup)
❅ Polysorbate 80 (Can also use Sorbitan Oleate)(2.5oz or 1/3 cup)
❅ Essential Oils of Your Choosing (Minimum of 10 drops per scent, adjusted to your smell preference.)
❅ A Colorant of Choice (Plant Power, Flower Dye, etc)
❅ Dried Herbs and/or Flowers (Optional)
❅ Nitrile Gloves

Prep Work:
❅ Grab your gloves and mask. It’s not the best to inhale the dry ingredients so a well ventilated space (at least a window open) is needed. Gloves are necessary because direct contact with the dry ingredients can cause dryness in skin or irritate it.

Initial Instructions:
❅ Mix your dry ingredients together (Baking Soda & Citric Acid) into a class bowl. I recommend sifting the Baking Soda into the Citric Acid as it will combine better. Stir with a whisk to further combine. Add in half of the herbs and/or flowers you think you’ll want.
❅ If you choose to have colored steamers, stir in the Flower or Plant Powder. If you don’t add in a colorant, they’ll be white and can still be really pretty.
❅ Mix the wet ingredients together (Polysorbate 80/Sorbitant Oleate and Essential Oils) until the Essential Oils blend evenly with  Polysorbate 80/Sorbitant Oleate. There should be little to no streaking of the Oils in the mixture.
❅Add the wet ingredients into the dry material little by little while mixing with a whisk. Once initially combined, begin to mix with your gloved hands, kneading until the liquids are nicely distributed. This mixture should have the consistency of wet sand– just moist enough to hold its shape when pressed together.
❅ Adjust mixture as needed

Silicone Mold Usage:
❅ Add in herbs and/or flowers to mold before you add in mixture. Go lightly and be sure to avoid the edges of the mold.
❅ Fill the mold(s) with the mixture and press the mixture into the mold with your fingertips, paying attention to any edges in the mold. Fill and compress bit by bit until mold is completely full. Then take the bottom of something flat and hard (like a measuring cup) to further flatten and compress.
❅ Let dry overnight for a 24 hour period. Room temperature is OK and the mold can remain uncovered. Do not leave in a moist/humid area.
❅ Gently demold, tapping the mold to check if it sounds and feels solid. If so, continue with the demolding process. Very gently loosen the steamer from the mold by carefully pulling away the silicone while using your thumbs to gently push out the steamer.

Notes:
❅ Feel free to check out this post of mine for essential oil combinations to use. There’s more essential oils for those associations than I have in that post so if you have questions or want more options, feel free to ask.
❅ All ingredients can be found locally in grocery stores, in specialty shops or even online.

Sorry I haven’t been active since April! In march I preformed a very successful spell to help me with my job hunt, I got the perfect fulltime job pursuing my passion of working with kids. I have been so busy these past summer months, but now that September is here my days aren’t so hectic and I can manage my blog again

✨ For Magickal Work:

The Scorpio Moon has a raw, pure energy that makes it perfect for efforts involving sex magic. It also lends itself to magickal work involving psyhicism, separation, truth, transformational change, courage, wishes and goal accomplishments. Use it also for blessing and consecrating scrying mirrors, crystal balls, or other divinatory tools.

✨ Mundane Event Planning:

When drastic measures are necessary for personal growth (setting plans in motion for long-range goals comes to mind here), nothing can beat the transformational and separating energies of the Scorpio Moon. For this reason, save any life-altering decision-making such as cross-country moves, career changes, relationship endings, and so forth for this time. It’s also useful for surgical procedures where growth, tumor, or cyst removal are at issue, as well as the commencement of treatment for other health problems. But those aren’t the only things this energy is good for. It’s also great for buying new bed linens and lingerie, and using them to your full advantage!

✨ Gardening Tips:

A very fruitful sign, seeds sown during a Scorpio Moon tend to germinate very quickly. It’s also a good time to prune if you want to encourage the growth of a leaf or flower buds!

Brightest Blessings!

POV: What it’s like having a powerful witch for a cousin.

Me: *walks inside*

Eliana: Ahhh omg I missed you sooo much ahhh! Omg wow, you’re like me!!! We share similar gifts! That’s cool!!

Me: *nervous laughter* Why am I scared right now?

Eliana: Becauae the shared power is a lot LOL

Me: Ahh okay…

Eliana: Come come! Let’s have tea.

Me: *Drinks Tea* WHAT THE HECK?! THIS TEA SLAPS. BEST TEA WHAT THE HECK?!

Eliana: oh yeah btw, everything in the house is enchanted!! Might be why? Or it might just be the brown sugar LOL

Me:

That’s my specialty!

I love tarot and dream interpretation. I also love pendulums. I read the runes and tea leaves, I use scrying mirrors, crystal balls, water/fire. There’s lots more I want to learn, but I’m still mastering these.

I’ve never been in a Coven, or really had interest, though I do have some friends with whom I conjure. So, I guess I’m not all that Solitary.

I try to follow the Nine Noble Truths, and I believe in karmatic law, I think. There’s an awful lot of chaos in the world that disproves a lot of the karmatic law I believe in.
I just try to be a good person, whatever that means.

I touched on this one in 01.

I do not! I am eclectic. I hold a lot of beliefs and practices in Norse Reconstructionist Paganism. I started out Wiccan, so I have some Wiccan tendencies (”May you never thirst,” is always said in my rituals, as well as “the circle is open but never broken.”). I practice hoodoo and Ceremonial Magic/Hermetic Arts. I am a kitchen witch and a hedge witch. My patron is Egyptian, but I work with the majority of the Norse pantheon, some Celtic gods, and some Greek gods.

I don’t think I am a witch. I touched on this in 01. I don’t like calling myself a “witch” because of the negative historical connotation. I’m not sure who decided when practitioners ought to call themselves witches, but I much prefer other terms. I do understand that I fall into the same type of category as those who do call themselves witches, and that’s fine, and it’s fine that they call themselves that, too. I just don’t want to be called that consistently.

I prefer: practitioner, magician, pagan, voelva.

I am an eclectic worker. I work with different death and fire gods, but I adhere to Norse Paganism, plus some hoodoo. I lean toward Hermetic high/ceremonial magic.

As a witch and an avid coffee lover, I felt like its time for some frappuccino magick (and some suggested stones you can pair with them)!

A little disclaimer - No, I am not being paid to post this or anything… I just really like coffee.

☕ Caramel - Bring some sweetness into your day! Caramel is sticky and sweet, so drink some to attract positivity and comfort to stick with you throughout the day! You could also drink it while you’re studying to help things stick in your brain. Pair with sodalite.

☕ Chai Creme - Don’t you mean the perfect spiced up love potion in coffee form?? This frappuccino uses a spicy chai tea which contains black tea, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, clove, star anise, and pepper aka your perfect blend of passion, charm, courage, lust, and aphrodisiacs.. *wink wink*. Pair with garnet.

☕ Cinnamon Dolce - On the go? Pairing cinnamon, coffee, and sugary goodness is great for boosting your energy! Relaxing? Who doesn’t love a warm cinnamon-y sugar feeling? You can also use this beverage to bring peace and relaxation! Pair with carnelian / blue lace agate.

☕ Coffee - Coffee is fantastic for mental clarity and grounding. If you’re having one of those days, get some coffee and go for a walk. Take advantage of the boosted alertness to enjoy nature, clear your mind, and overcome any internal blockages. Pair with hematite.

☕ Cotton Candy - (Does not contain caffeine) This vanilla and raspberry frappuccino is perfect for two things: peace and love. Vanilla’s calming aroma paired with this fruit of patience encourages peace of mind. On the other hand, vanilla’s loving vibrations paired with raspberries’ fidelity give you a perfect romance drink. (Raspberries are also used with pregnancy spells which is great because it is also caffeine free!) Pair with moonstone.

☕ Green Tea Creme - (Does not contain caffeine) Green tea is great for healing! It boosts immunity, reduces bad cholesterol, promotes healthy cell growth, is high in antioxidants, and helps you to relax if you are tense. When drinking, you can see your beverage cleansing and detoxing with every sip you take. Pair with bloodstone.

☕ Java Chip and Mocha -One word: chocolate. These two frappuccinos are practically the same thing except one has chocolate chips in it, so I’m going to group them together. Chocolate is all about love and friendship, and people often give or receive chocolate as rewards. Pair it with a self-love bath and indulge. You deserve it! Pair with rhodonite.

☕ Midnight Mint - How about a minty sweet cleanse? Mint is all about protection and cleansing, and when paired with chocolate brings a little positivity with it. Mint is also great for breaking spells, hexes, and jinxes, so if you’re feeling a bit wary, go grab yourself a drink! Pair with black tourmaline.

☕ Pumpkin Spice - The perfect drink around Samhain to give you all your favorite fall spices in one! Pumpkins are fantastic for bringing some money your way especially when paired with the other spices in your PSF. On top of that, pumpkins are great for divination. Tarot readings in Starbucks, anyone? Pair with aventurine.

☕ Strawberries & Creme - (Does not contain caffeine) Strawberries are very similar to raspberries correspondence wise. This drink is great for innocent or platonic love and happiness! Pair this drink with a friendship spell, or just grab one with your best bud. Pair with rose quartz.

☕ Vanilla Bean -(Does not contain caffeine) Vanilla is always known for its amazing aroma! This drink is fantastic to drink for positivity, whether for yourself, or paired with a spell for others or your home. Pair with amethyst.

☕ White Chocolate Mocha - I love white chocolate for glamour! Just like regular chocolate, it brings positivity, but white chocolate has a sweeter and lighter taste to it. Drink this in the morning to give yourself some boosted confidence and self-positivity for the day! Pair with selenite.

Added note: You can always switch out regular milk for almond milk! Almond milk is great for wisdom, prosperity, fruitfulness, and healing.

Drink up and enjoy!
