Today was surprisingly warm weather. It was a bit unexpected after the severe cold and sleet. +15 degrees!
And I rushed to my garden again) I enjoyed the silence, because all the neighbors had already left for the city, and today is a weekday.
So, I was alone in our cottage holiday village. It is an amazing feeling when you are alone with the earth and nature.

I love the combination of pumpkin and banana. Grate the pumpkin with a banana on a grater, add a little sugar and cinnamon, and you get a delicious breakfast. I make pumpkin and banana jam, make pie stuffing. If you have not tried this combination, I recommend!

I have really been struggling with captions lately. I usually think of something good when I don’t have time to write it down but the moment I settle down to type up a post, my head does a whoooosh and everything disappears.
I’ve been in a melancholic mood lately, I’m lonely and I’m missing people. Wish I wouldn’t be so alone all the time but guess my company is not that enjoyable. I’ve been trying so hard to open up to people and message them to no avail. I feel like I’m doomed to loneliness my whole life and and as much as I wish for it sometimes…I hate it just the same. Sorry this post is kind of a let down, just like me.

80th day of autumn.
The north wind came from distant lands to spend this day with me. We, like children, again ran across the hills covered with dead rusty grass, we counted black birds that circled above us like a dark cloud foreshadowing trouble. His cold hands on my face are a mask that hides my sorrows. I’m walking blindly along a winding path between the trees, frozen leaves crunch under my feet. This year, the snow has not fallen yet and everything around is filled with autumnal mood.
I throw off his arms and gaze into the cracks on the frozen ground, into tangled branches covered with a rusty and silver lichen… Until this all drowns in darkness. And then we go home…
And here, in silence, I read him pages from my diaries.
80 день осени.
Северный ветер прилетел из дальних земель, чтобы провести этот день со мной. Мы, словно дети, снова бегали по холмам, покрытым мертвой порыжелой травой, считали черных птиц, что кружили над нами, словно мрачная туча, предвещающая беду. Его холодные руки на моем лице - маска, скрывающая мои печали. Я иду вслепую по извилистой тропе между деревьями, под моими ногами хрустят замерзшие листья. В этом году снег еще не выпал и всё вокруг дышит осенью.
Я сбрасываю с себя его объятия и вглядываюсь в трещины на мерзлой земле, в спутанные ветви, покрытые ржавым и серебристым лишайником… Пока это всё не тонет во мраке. И тогда мы бредем домой…
И здесь, в тишине, я читаю ему страницы из своих дневников.

Скелеты цветников гремят костями на ветру -
Мой сад скорбит сухими семенами…
Я свое сердце до апреля схороню,
В могиле, выстеленной мхами.
Только сможет ли суетный ветер
Пыль костей моих приютить?..
Вплести в ломкие локоны степи
Сорных семян узелковую нить?..
А запястья огнем охвачены.
Ночь бессонная прячет в тени
Боль крученую , боль горячую…
Мои силы истощены…
В цветнике я взрастила раны.
Вслушалась из последних сил:
Клетка ребер шуршит лепестками,
Только сердце молчит сотню зим.
Капли крови цвели как бегонии,
Но истошно вяли в руках…
И блестела роса агонии
на холодном лбу и щеках.
И всё вьется петлею время,
Своей участи мне не позабыть…
Зачем сердце свое молчаливое
Я в земле оставила гнить?..
