せっかく奮発してiPad買ったので、現像もこれ一台でやるように楽しんでいるが、やはり慣れるまでは時間がかかりそう。
I love the sound of silent people.
I think most people, including myself most of the time, have already forgotten the situation we are right now. Like as in Europe everything is getting better we think the problem is solved everywhere, but then reality comes back and you realized that it is not that simple.
How to ‘Die Hard, with a Ventilator’.
Shame there’s still people out there who are worried more over being considered a 'sheeple’ than caring for others welfare. Even if it turns out to be a hoax, shame on the government for lying, not shame on those who gave a frell about others!
Or
Mayhap he’s just not concerned about having to take time off work and then how to afford his bills.
Or
He’s already vaccinated as there is a difference betwixt certain classes of people.
Hmm… Either way, wear a mask please n thanks!

I always think of this comic strip I did (in 2005!) whenever I see that my friends back in New England are enduring another blizzard while I’m safe and snow-free in Florida.
I created Tulsa’s grandmother’s helpful rhyme, but sadly it never caught on.
“Mucus clear, never fear
Mucus green, cough up your spleen
Mucus yellow? One sick fellow
But if your phlegm is brown or red–say your prayers, you’re almost dead”
Here’s a Valentines day reminder that St Valentine is also the patron saint of beekeepers so if you’re single today you can still celebrate by:
- Buying a bee hotel for your garden
- Making your own bee hotel out of sticks and leaves
- Planting bee friendly flowers. In the winter you can plant clematis, crocus and snowdrops to name a few
- Visitinghere for more ideas and information
Happy Valentines day!
Another year, another thing you didn’t know St Valentine was the patron Saint of: plague
Obviously everyone is suffering from a global pandemic right now but by supporting Unicef we could help deliver 2 billion Covid-19 vaccines and 500 million tests and treatment for health workers and the most high risk people on the planet.
Even small donations help but share if you can’t. Donation and more information in the link here.
Happy Valentine’s day.
Will you still love me when i’m no longer young and beautiful?
I don’t even have anything funny to say that is just really sweet
There is a statue in Cork to commemorate the donation of the Choctaw people to the Irish people, It is called Kindred Spirits.

Have you ever stroked a stranger’s hair when they’re sick and told them it’s going to be okay even though you know what the numbers on the screen mean? Holding someone’s hand while they’re crying and telling you they’re scared runs a chill down your spine. Have you ever called someone by a name on a armband but wondered if that’s what their family calls them? Have you ever seen someone close their eyes and wonder if they’ll ever open them again? Have you ever forgotten what color someone’s eyes are? Have you ever been the place holder for their wife, husband, children, mother, or father? Have you ever cried telling that stranger that their family says they love them and that they’re praying for them even when they can’t be there with them? You ever tell that stranger that you’re praying for them too?
Nurses everywhere are tired. Emotionally. Mentally. Physically. We’re all tired.
Turn off the news.
Stop getting caught up in the social media of people who think it’s a hoax. Don’t give in to the ignorant bullshit that people are saying. One percent of the population of the United States, alone, is 3.2 million people. That one percent is worth fighting for.
They’ve stopped calling you a hero but that doesn’t mean you aren’t one. You’re a hero every single day you’ve shown up to work in this pandemic. You’re underpaid and under appreciated and yet there you are, every day, helping your patients fight. YOU are the reason your patients get to go home.
Do something for yourself on your day off. Wholeheartedly just for yourself. Not something your kids will enjoy, not something for your partner or parents or siblings or friends. You do you. Take care of yourself.
You are so important to your patients and your coworkers. Don’t give up. These vaccines are a light at the end of the tunnel. We’re almost there.
You got this.

I was really trying to give 2020 a chance because I had some good stuff happen last week.
Then I got COVID.
2020 can go choke on one.
Coming very soon @backofyourlocaldiner…
I would first like to start off by saying to anyone who has been effected by the COVID-19 virus, my thoughts are with you all.
I work with a vulnerable population, and as of tomorrow my workplace will be closing for at least 3 weeks (estimated longer).
I know that I am not the only one being affected by these precautionary closures, but I do understand the stress and fear that comes with uncertainty, and lack of answers.
Please try to keep your head up, like everything in life this too shall pass.
Remember to enjoy the little things in life.
Stay safe.
Stay strong.
Stay kind.
My thoughts are with you all,
Xoxo- hbostolemysoul
Seeing as a lot of people are stuck indoors due to the pandemic I’ve got an offer. Okay this might sound weird given the topic but has anyone out there thought about playing dnd but didn’t do it? Are you interested in dming and don’t know where to start? Roll20 is free has webcam options, and would be a great way to continue socializing when you can’t go to events. Send me any questions I’ve only been a dm for about a year, but I do know a lot of great resources, and I’m a big fan of character building, which is the hardest part I promise.
