INTP: That’s it. I’m done. It’s over.

ENFP: Aw what happened?

INTP: I cannot fit anymore Hmong into my head. I’ve done all my allotted thinking for today. Nothing new can enter my brain.

ENFP: Wait, you started learning Hmong?? I thought you were learning Cantonese…

INTP: Yeah, but I decided I needed to add it for  c l o u t .  Also, why are there 56 possible consonant beginnings?

ENFP: Do I look like I speak it? XD. My parents are probably disappointed ._.;

INTP: It’s okay. I can just teach you when I’m done :^)

dearmbti:

Dear INTP, I love how low-maintenance you are. We can converse like there wasn’t just a two month gap in our exchanges.

Our experiences are crystallized into Si-child. There’s no need to reform a connection when we understand who you are. Our understanding is our identity. You’ve become a part of us.

Cognitive Functions as Things I Randomly Associate With Them

Ni - Archery

Ne - Magic

Si - Books

Se - Fireworks

Ti - Gears

Te - A knife

Fi - Cookies

Fe - Cake

INTP Cognitive Functions

(this has probably been done before but whatever)

Ti: Bullshit detector. Can learn basically anything if Si likes it. Lives in it’s own world (mostly turns out fine). Simultaneously makes INTP feel like the smartest and dumbest person alive. Always. On.

Ne: LSD + Crack cocaine. Random thought generator. Used to create simulations for Ti’s calculations before doing stuff in real life. Often, INTP is satisfied with just the simulation.

Si: A spoiled kid, kind of picky (but Fe will never let Si speak up about it). Will do the same thing 100 times until Ti has deconstructed it backwards and upside down. Tries to remember exact details but Ne already deleted that simulation.

Fe: Last remnant of INTP’s humanity. Hypersensitivity to other people. The rest of the mind pushes Fe into a corner reserved for sympathizing with fictional characters. Often hijacks Ne in secret to create their own social simulations. Ti has no idea what to do with this information.

My HS senior year teachers’ types

Language Arts: INFJ

Economics: ESTP

Physical Education: ESFP

Mathematics: ESTJ

Chemistry: ENTJ

Physics: INTP

Anime MBTI: Demon Slayer (Part 1)

Tanjirō Kadamo — INFJ

Nezuko Kamado — ISFJ

  • When she’s enraged as a demon, I interpreted her shift as her being in ENTP subconscious.

Zenitsu Agatsuma — ENTP

  • Zenitsu has a very loud Ni nemesis to where he is paranoid about his own future (demonstrated by him wanting to find any romantic partner)
  • When sleep-fighting, I interpreted that as him being in INTJ unconscious. He is very strategic despite his overwhelming worries, so I placed him in the NT temperment.

Inosuke Hashibara — ESFP

  • Te-Child / Ti-blindspot

Kanao Tsuyuri — ISTP

What do you guys think about this typing? I followed CS Joseph’s type grid method — Linda Berens’ interaction styles x the Four Temperments + cognitive function attitudes — so that should give accurate results.

What is the Jungian Shadow, anyway, and why is it relevant? Here is a short new video of Shadow Tender’s artistic director, Natasha Kolosowsky, explaining & contextualizing these things + some art and dancing.

You can learn more about Shadow Tender here: http://igg.me/at/shadowtender

In brief, it’s a performance and workshop series that asks how humans create and interact with the monstrous within ourselves and in others, and seeks to provide the tools and inspiration to meet our shadows with compassion rather than fear, shame, or rejection.  We’re examining these ideas through the lens of fantasy, theater, wearable sculpture, and movement, with inspiration ranging from neuroscience to alchemical philosophy. We’ve been invited to perform and teach at the World Stage Design festival this July in Taiwan, Taipei - one of the largest international performance design festivals in the world!  But we’ll need your help to get there!  We’re only about 26% of the way to our funding goal, and we only have a few days left of our crowdfunding campaign!

Enjoy and please feel free to share <3

The Jungian Shadow lays curled up in the darkness of the fictional mind-body split, in the chasm that we tell ourselves separates our “civilized,” “rational” selves from the “primitive,” “uncultured” aspects of our being. Within this darkness dwells the “other”: the deep trauma, shame, and pain of the colonized and the colonizer; the oppressed and the oppressor. The body knows these secrets – blood and sinew cannot be fooled, cannot be made to ignore these aspects of the self.“  -Natasha Kolosowsky

Here is a small snippet of a Shadow Tender rehearsal from our first week of workshops at the Headwaters Theatre in Portland, OR.  Part of exploring our Shadow selves is honoring the parts of ourselves that are not always…”approved of” by society. This is SO up my alley when it comes to beastly, feral movements–I’m so grateful to have an outlet for the type of movement that feels like it’s running just under my skin, more often than not…

I can’t imagine a project I would be more excited to work on right now. This is one of the largest projects I’ve ever tackled, and what I truly want my art to achieve: using the transformative magic of costumes and movement to help people understand more about themselves and even find the tools to interact more healthily with each other.

I’m working with some of the most talented artists and performers I know, but even as excited and determined as we are, we’re not going to be able to do this alone. Please take a moment to watch our video and check out our campaign. If you can contribute we’d be forever grateful, but you can help us succeed just by spreading the word. Joy, integrity, anxiety and self-acceptance

following is my super quick and rather chaotic picks from here i sometimes tampered with things and added my own little touch:

‘Joy has to do with a lifting of ego boundaries, a relaxation of defenses, permission to be and to reveal oneself, an opening of the self’

Verena Kast

* * *

“Integrity is not a painfully upheld standard so much as a prolonged and focused delight”

(integrity) is not mere duty and performance.

Integrity from the standpoint of psychotherapy is not a matter of holding up a charade to the world, fooling others or oneself about who one really is.

(recipe to joy): By entering into a loving relation to with the self, we delight the self, and the self’s delight passes through us as a pleasure we can feel and enjoy and even scatter.

Integrity balances and restores and steers us out of difficulty and reminds us that things are not as they should be.

anxiety is alienation from the self. you are afraid others won’t like you, so you act as somebody else which cause stress.

What is the Jungian Shadow, anyway, and why is it relevant? Here is a short new video of Shadow Tender’s artistic director, Natasha Kolosowsky, explaining & contextualizing these things + some art and dancing.
