Love is Stored in the
Allium
On the one hand, purple hearts are great plants because they give no fucks and will do whatever they please.
On the other, sometimes you don’t pay attention and this happens
So the park had some secret agent tomatoes growing in the lavender of one of the infill gardens.
Late last week, after I’d first spotted them, a parks crew took them all. Or so I thought. At least one vine escaped their work, and Hannah spotted it today.
So I took off about a foot from the vine (there’s still like two feet of healthy stem and leaves hidden out there) and cut it into several pieces when I got home. With any luck they’ll take and I’ll have a new type of tomato to add to the family
First of the boxcar Willies to show and I am EXCITE
Basil flowers make basil seeds!
I opened up some that look like maybe they’re close to ready to be dropped, as compared to the pale yellow ones you can see in the bottom of the bottom pic.
I might experiment with saving some and trying to figure out how that all works.
(Dramatic) Cherry tomato plant grown from a prop throwing it’s first fruits. This one is actually looking like it might become to most productive of all the sungold plants.
The other two that came from props have started to fruit, but this is the first to be ready to pick.

I Think this Pothos is N'joying its Custom Pot
I made this pot and saucer specifically for this plant in 2019. I sure do miss having access to a recreational pottery studio - I was just getting into making my own pots. The few plants I have in my own ceramic seem so happy too Look how much this sweet bb has grown since May 2020!

Another Trailing Tuesday, Another Pretty Pothos
This golden pothos has the best of both worlds right now - long vines & a bushy top with big leaves! I might have to start this one up a wall somewhere - stay tuned for updates…
