On the other hand, merman Bucky went to his favourite sunbathing spot as usual, discovering a wet filthy boot took his place on the flat stone that he always lay on…
in the first episode of ‘what if…’ peggy carter essentially replaced steve in the “captain america, first avenger” movie. obviously it changed and all but the basic premise stayed the same. but, because peggy and bucky didn’t have the same relationship that steve and bucky did, it wouldn’t have made much sense for him to be peggys sidekick. so how they got around that, was by making steve the sidekick, which is all well and good, except that peggy and steve also were love interests. that isn’t very interesting in and of itself. however, when they all switched roles the dynamic between the hero/sidekick didn’t really change with them. and even more, a lot of scenes were very similar, if not identical to the movie, even using the same lines. but in the 'what if…’ version they were (trying) to make them more romantic. however by not changing the lines and dynamics, it feels as though the script itself is inherently romantic. the script that was written for bucky and steve. so by changing characters it seems as though the hero and sidekick were always love interests, no matter who they were. and by making these parrallels marvel (unitetionally im sure) confirmed that steve and bucky were more than friends

This was one of my biggest undertakings in a while, Johann Schmidt, or Red Skull from Captain America.
This was a project I had been working on from late spring to early summer, constantly debating exactly how I’d like to go about this, choosing between doing a mask or doing makeup, and ultimately I decided it would be best if I put my skills to the test and made a full head latex mask from scratch.
The mask was first sculpted in water based clay, molded with Ultracal 30, then cast in mask latex from Kosart Effects, and finally painted.
I’m not entirely satisfied with the end result, but I am certainly proud of it and very happy with this being my first ever full mask.

E x Sebastian S. x their Marvel characters. In fact one of my fav smutty fanfics is the [ready your heart series] because I specifically love THIS dynamic. Like their dominance goes Bucky>Chris>Steve>Seb but sometimes Chris struggles with not being dominant enough and Steve craves attention and being taken care of like Seb is. I just love this fanfic so much and it was last actualized in 2016. the author said it would have a 3rth part with Steve’s perspective but it was many years ago. Anyways just crying rambling over here.
One of the main reasons why I don’t like stevenat its because everybody who ships it turns Steve into a super domish dude when in my HC both of them are really subby because: ehem have you seen Maria Hill and Bucky Barnes?
