Cherry & Pistachio Cake
Cherry Pistachio Cake
(adapted from Field of Greens)
- ¼ cup green pistachios
- 2 cups fresh cherries, halved and pitted
- 4 ounces unsalted butter, softened
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ¾ cup unbleached white flour
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup creme fraiche (or sour cream)

Flourless, Butterless Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownies
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- ¾ cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 4 eggs
- ½ tablespoon vanilla
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Another ½ cup of chocolate chips to stir into the batter(optional)
- Melted chocolate chips and peanut butter chips

Banana Chocolate Chip Cake w. Peanut Butter Frosting
For the cake:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- ¾ cup light brown sugar
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- 4 medium-sized ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup buttermilk (room temperature)
- 2/3 cup mini chocolate chips plus more for garnish
For the frosting:
- 2 sticks of butter softened (1 cup)
- 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
- 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-3 tablespoons milk
