Pas facile d’être soi même dans ce monde. Je me cache toujours derrière un masque pour me protéger, pour moins souffrir (enfin je tente de m’en persuader). J’ai besoin de ce masque pour cacher mes émotions, mes faiblesses… Alors je deviens forte, insensible, parfois méchante… cette autre image de moi me rassure même si elle ne reflète en rien ma réalité de vie… Ce masque est malheureusement devenu une question de survie et j’espère qu’un jour, j’arriverai à le faire tomber. A vivre cette vie, la vraie, qui est certainement meilleure que celle dans laquelle je suis prisonnière.

I do not believe I will ever have the courage to admit that my hostility comes from vulnerability, at least not for awhile. It hurts me that my vulnerability hurts others. It hurts me to know that my weakness is a weapon. I said I don’t feel sympathy. I don’t. Not for you. Maybe, I don’t know. When you trip over me, I penalize myself for my clumsiness to the point I completely forgot you were lying there in pain. I walk away without a bruise, head filled to the brim with replays of my inability. Except I didn’t trip you over, except you weren’t lying there in pain, it was, something else, and much worst.

Having a long distance relationship is more complicated than I expected. We have a lot of communication, we talk to each other all the time, and from now on we will talk to each other on Skype.
Everything is really perfect, I trust him and I know he won’t hurt me, but…
My huge problem is temptation. Since he left, many guys talked to me again, to see me, to do things we used to do.
I’m having doubts about my strenght and my love for him. I want to be with him, I don’t want to break up, but I don’t want to hurt him and I am afraid of being weak. We are 1 of 12 months officialy apart (or maybe more) and I can tell you that I won’t cheat on him because I love him. The only chance I have to do it is when I loose myself drinking and everytime Im myself but drinking I only remember how much I miss him and how special he is to me.
