Stop with the lengthy apologizes when you do something small like write the above on posts and someone calls you out on it
Stop asking me for my opinon on what this famous black person did
Stop asking me for my opinion on if a thing is racist or not
Stop asking me to explain basic racist shit to you
Stop telling black people about the time you called your racist uncle out on his racism or the protests you went to
Stop asking for my opinion on things you did that you’re scared is racist/has racist undertones

Stop asking one black person for their opinion on something about race… You gotta ask more black people if you want an accurate representation of something because not all of us are the same/think the same thing

When you say “well, police should arrest drug dealers because dealing drugs is morally bad” you are granting that “Morally Bad” is a good reason to arrest someone.

On this day, 16 May 1934, Minneapolis truck drivers in the Teamsters union went on strike, shutting down almost all commercial transport in the city. The dispute lasted over three months, ending with most of the workers’ demands being met and opening the way for more workers’ organisation in Minneapolis. There was another mass shooting where at least five people (including the shooter) died. (Not to mention the one in Tennessee, though as far as I know so far nobody died from that one.) It was in Tulsa, on the 101th anniversary of the Tulsa massacre.
At this point every time there’s a mass shooting I just wonder “how did I not get caught in one yet?”
To be fair, there hasn’t been a record of a mass killings in my county. There were some around us (which includes two of the most infamous serial killers) but in this county alone all of the murders have either been personal or a robbery gone wrong. That doesn’t mean that it won’t happen at some point.
And of course because we’re so fucking used to mass shootings in the news, it’s going to be covered up by the Heard/Depp trial or some shit.
5 people were shot at the funeral for Da’Shontay King- a black man who was killed by the police who I missed in between all of the mass shootings, in Racine. I don’t know what the victim’s statuses are yet.
I didn’t know that yet ANOTHER cop killed a black person until this mass shooting happened even though it happened two hours away from me and now I’m starting to wonder how many more POC did the cops kill while we were focusing on mass shootings?
TW: There are pictures of violence on there. It only displays one at a time but it starts with an upsetting one. (No blood as far as I can tell, but the man has a cast on his arm.) The black box in the photo is covering a man covered in blood.
People have talked about how the police waited around 40 minutes to go into the school, and when they did they just grabbed their own kids and got out. I haven’t seen anybody point out that they waited around 40 minutes to save their own children.
Some of those police had their own children attending that school and they waited outside for nearly an hour while their own children were in there with the shooter.
hey make sure this is sourced properly bc from sources i’ve seen cops did not only rescue their own children. it’s important we don’t join rightwingers in spreading misinfo right now
At the time nobody really knew this, (or at least it wasn’t wide spread) but I’ll be sure to edit my post.
The main point still stands though- they left their children in there with a shooter for a while.
They uh… They tried claiming that they had the shooter in custody. Wow.
Έχω ξαναγράψει για τη μπατσοφιλία στο tumblr, που όπως και σε κάθε social media platform είναι something we gotta deal with, eventually. Ανεξαρτήτως ηλικιών, ανεξαρτήτως μορφωτικού επιπέδου (αυτή η μάστιγα) και ανεξαρτήτως background, θα υπάρχει κόσμος που θα θεωρεί ότι η ΕΛΑΣ είναι ένα αγνό σώμα ασφαλείας, που θέλει μόνο το καλό μας, ακόμα κι αν το «καλό μας» περιέχει στοιχεία αναγκαστικότητας.
Άτομα όπως ο @anhsuxo-mualo δυσκολεύονται είτε να κατανοήσουν την πραγματικότητα όπως αυτή εκτιλύσσεται ή βρίσκονται σε θέση που η πραγματικότητα όπως εκτυλίσσεται τους συμφέρει. Και για να μη παρεξηγηθώ, το να είσαι φιλελεύθερος και μπατσόφιλος, δεν είναι λόγος παθολογικοποίησης, και θα δε έπρεπε και να είναι, βάσει με τα διαθέσιμα στοιχεία που έχουμε.
Fact check λοιπόν:
-Ο κόσμος βγαίνει έξω να διαδηλώσει ακριβώς γιατί υπάρχουν διασωληνωμένοι στα νοσοκομεία εξαιτίας της ανευθυνότητας κάποιων, indeed. Αν το ΚΚ, ο Ρουβίκωνας, ή οποιαδήποτε άλλη σχηματοποίηση κομμουνιστική, σταλινική, αναρχική, ελευθεριακή-αναρχική, αναρχοκομμουνιστική (et al) αναλάβει το εθνικό σύστημα υγείας, καλώς να αναζητήσεις ευθύνες στις συλλογικότητες. Μέχρι τώρα, ακόμα και το google σε διαψεύδει, πόσο μάλλον τα βίντεο και οι φωτό από τα social.
-ΑΓΑΠΩ το comment για σπασμένα μαγαζιά και αμάξια ενώ (α) δεν υπήρξε καμία τέτοια πράξη -και μη με παρεξηγήσεις, εγώ το στηρίζω το σπάσιμο, άλλη ιστορία αυτή όμως- και (β) οι μισοί που έχουν αμάξι σύντομα βλέπουμε να καταθέτουν πινακίδες γιατί δε θα μπορούν να το συντηρήσουν και το ίδιο ισχύει και για τα μαγαζιά.
-Δεν υπάρχουν όντως επαναστάσεις που να ξεκίνησαν με καταστροφές εις βάρος του «λαού». Υπάρχουν πολλές (τολμώ να πω..όλες; ας κριθώ) που ξεκίνησαν με αντιβία ενάντια σε σώματα ασφαλείας και μονάδες καταστολής.
-Καραμέλα το «κράζετε μπάτσους = γίνεστε φασίστες», όταν διαβάσεις κοινωνική θεωρία, πολιτικές επιστήμες και ιστορία, εδώ είμαστε να σου λύσουμε απορίες. Μέχρι τότε, κάνε μια καλή μπας και η αστυνομία σου βρει τους φυγόδικους ναζί, και τα ξαναλέμε.
-Είναι κάθε μορφή απολυταρχίας «φασισμός»; Νοπ. Ξανά, συνιστώ κοινωνική θεωρία, πολιτικές επιστήμες και ιστορία. Συνήθως δουλεύει, αλλά παίρνει χρόνο.
-Δαπίτη σε είπε, αφού τη γραμμή της ΔΑΠ υποστηρίζεις, τι να σε πει, «φιλοχουντικό»; Θα παρεξηγηθείς. Άλλωστε η ΝΔ δεν έχει καμία σχέση με τους φασίστχαχαχαχαχαχα (σόρρυ).
-Βέβαια, κι αν δεν είσαι Δαπίτης και είσαι μπάτσος; Ή μπάτσος-δαπίτης; Χμ. Μπορεί να είσαι και φασαίος, tis fine. Ή φιλελεύθερος. Tis fine as well. Αλλά διακρίνω μία έλλειψη ανάλυσης της πραγματικότητας και αυτό ό,τι κι αν είσαι, να το κοιτάξεις,. Όχι τίποτα άλλο, λες ότι ακούς και Τρύπες και ΛΤ, πίνεις και κάνα γάρο, και καλά κάνεις, αλλά ξέρεις, σουρεαλισμός.
Προς έναν anon που είπε το εξής:

Indeed η συγκέντρωση ήταν παράνομη καθώς έγινε αναστολή άρθρου του συντάγματος αυτής εδώ της χώρας (που συνήθως κόπτεστε για το πόσο καταπατείται). Επίσης, έτσι όπως η κυβέρνηση ή τα άτομα που υποθέτω ότι στηρίζεις διαχειρίζονται την πανδημία, μάλλον αρκετός κόσμος θα πάει όντως σε νοσοκομείο στην Αλεξάνδρας και αλλού, και δε θα φταίει καμία πορεία. Υπάρχει δε, όντως μία μειονότητα του 5% ίσως και λιγότερο, που θεωρεί ότι είναι πάνω από τους νόμους, but oh boy, δεν είναι το ΚΚΕ.
Στη συνέχεια ο ιδιος μάλλον anon δηλώνει πως:

όπου και έλαβε την απάντησε που έπρεπε, και θα ήθελα απλά να προσθέσω -ως άτομο που έχει φάει ξύλο από ΚΝΑΤ- ότι (α) ιστορικά σε αυτό τον τόπο, ΚΑΙ το ΚΚ την έκανε την αντίσταση είτε θέλουμε να το αποδεχτούμε είτε όχι, και (β) το να λέει καρπαζοεισπράκτορα το ΚΚΕ ένας (I’ll make a guess) υποστηρικτής του Μπογδάνου, είναι τουλάχιστον φαιδρό.
