“The 50 Yard Dash” (2015)
This quirky and silly mockumentary, starring two-time Silver Fox Award winner Kaitlyn Murphy, follows a day in the lives of twenty-something undergraduates. With graduation quickly approaching, college roommates and best friends Lauren and Allie must come to terms with their post-grad lives going in opposite directions. Directed by Rachael Black and Devin Barbaro, this short film explores the pressure and emotions of four years of college coming to a close, reminding us that the most important thing we’ll take away from our higher education is the memories we’ve made.
Wonder Woman has held her own alongside the superdudes of DC comics since 1942, ensnaring villains in her Lasso of Truth and empowering female fans along the way. She’s not just fighting for the red, white, and blue–she’s fighting for fellow Push Girls. Oh, and the tiara and invisible jet were pretty sweet too.

Sex Education Star Aimee Lou Wood on the Power of Female Pleasure, Her Love for RuPaul’s Drag Race, and the Iconic “My Ham!” Line
Aimee Gibbs. She’s a Scabby Queen who loves ham. She doesn’t really know where anything is because she just sort of arrives places. Most importantly, by the end of Sex Education, she’s a young woman who knows what she wants. And Aimee Lou Wood, the young actor who portrays the hilarious, gregarious teen on the breakout Netflix series, is just so pleased to have brought the character to life.
Raised in the Northwest of England, Wood was a self-described “strange child” while growing up. While she’s been in a number of stage productions,Sex Education was her first on-screen role. Her character, Aimee, starts the series off with a bang, quite literally, which helps set the tone for the extremely realistic yet uproarious dramedy. In fact, Aimee is the one to credit for the genesis of the entire Moordale sex clinic — if it weren’t for her wondering “where’s the spunk, Adam,” BFF Maeve would never have concocted the genius plan to turn Otis’s “sex wizard” knowledge into a business.
Wood recently spoke with Teen Vogue about the Netflix series that has everyone talking (and laughing, and perhaps some cringing). She opened up about improvising a few of her most meme’d lines, becoming a symbol for female self-pleasure, getting tagged on Instagram by her favorite drag queens, and more.

It had to be done. I write about how I feel, what I think and what I go through. I write when I’m angry, sad, happy and everything in between. May as well ruin what little reputation I have left, right? This guy and I started talking friendly. We were talking about our past relationships and how writing was a good outlet for us. And then he kept turning the conversations sexual. Kept sending me dick pics. Demanding pictures from me like I owed him something. And he even said, because I rejected him I deserved to be treated like a whore. To this guy all women are whores. I don’t understand the logic that he hates women who take naked pictures and act whorish, yet he feels entitled and deserving of those kind of pictures from women. And for a man to say he’s a hopeless romantic and then act like that… okay. I’ve talked to a few other guys who say their hopeless romantics and they NEVER asked me for pictures. He even said he wanted a women to be his bitch and serve him. It always strikes back with a pathology of disrespect for women… And I’m sure he and I have overlapping followers Come at me.
