I have a deep and very personal need to defend every girl who has been attacked by millions of their s/o’s fans for literally doing nothing but being happy. These women are attacked, disrespected, and bullied by “fans”, some children, some whole ass adults, because they don’t fit the stans’ personal fantasy about their idol. It genuinely baffles me how much these people hate innocent women out of jealousy or because of some conspiracy. It is also jarring just how many girls have had to through this.

If you have done this, and/or continue to do this I would love to hear your justification because I am sure it boils down to thinking you know better than your idol whats good for them. The facts are you do not know them and they are an adult who can make their own decisions. You say you love them, but bullying someone they love is not supporting them. If you do this, you better not call yourself a feminist, ever. Feminist do not tear down other women over petty bs. Just be kind, please.

Last week i was at a party and there was this girl who looked really pretty. I was a little drunk so i poked her softly and told her she was pretty and it was honestly the best thing i’ve done that week. Her eyes sparkled and she smiled really beautiful. She couldn’t believe it and turned a little bit red.

Sometime little things can light up the day of someone else. So be nice and make others smile even by doing something small.

Her smile was worth it.

my only advice to all the girls out there is to wear weird shit. just do it

Benefits

  1. Men are more likely to be put off and thus, leave you alone.
  2. Women who are also weird may be inclined to start up conversations with you and befriend you.
  3. Little girls will feel safer around you because they are also weird.
  4. Small children may ask you if you are a fairy/princess/mermaid, and that’s just a really good feeling.
  5. You get that much closer to being a fairy/princess/mermaid.

6. You make your inner child happy and every time you do that, you heal.

“why hate on other girls when u can tell them how pretty their hair is or how bomb their highlight is and watch their face light up”

@sexual-texts

So true!

THIS 1000000000000% I’ve always been the girl who gives out admiration and appreciation and compliments to other girls. We’re sisters, and most of us are so hard on ourselves, so it’s nice to be nice & I know how much it means when someone acknowledges the effort I’ve made to look pretty.

This!
