any good work out tips for burning a ton of calories???

My go to tahini kale salad

You will need:

  • 3 cups of lacinato kale washed and chopped
  • 1 tsp of olive oil
  • ½ a lemon
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • ½ tsp of garlic powder
  • ½ tsp of onion powder
  • 1 tbsp of tahini
  • 1/3 cup of blueberries
  • 1/3 cup of chickpeas
  • ¼ tsp of paprika
  • 1/8 tsp of ground cayenne powder
  • ½ cup of cucumbers sliced
  • 1 cooked beet sliced
  • ½ an avocado cubed
  • Oven
  • Baking sheet
  • Non stick mat or parchment paper

Step one

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees

Step two

Pour chopped and washed kale into a large bowl. Combine olive oil, ¼ tsp of garlic powder, ¼ tsp of onion powder, ¼ tsp of red pepper flakes, ¼ tsp of salt, and the juice of ½ a lemon with the kale. Massage gently and place in the fridge

Step three

In a separate bowl combine the chickpeas with ¼ tsp of garlic powder, ¼ onion powder, ¼ tsp of salt, 1/8 tsp of ground cayenne powder. Mix together and then place on a baking sheet lined with a non stick mat or parchment paper. Place in the heated oven for 12 minutes

Step four

One chickpeas have cooked combine them with the kale salad mixture. To the same bowl add blueberries, sliced cucumbers, sliced beet, and cubed avocado. Pour 1 tbsp of tahini into the salad and mix

Step five

Transfer into a separate bowl and enjoy. Feel free to add additional seasonings, or 0 calorie vinegar/citrus

Honestly this recipe is soooogood!!

Calories: 534 (don’t worry they’re safe calories)

Protein: 18 g

Carbs: 62 g

Fiber: 24 g

Fat: 26 g

Vitamin A: 373%

Vitamin C: 436%

12 ways to restrict without raising suspicion:

  1. Use the vegan/vegetarian/lactose intolerant/etc. excuse.
  2. Talk ALOT. Keep asking them questions to divert attention away from you.
  3. Tell them you ate a large breakfast/lunch and you’re trying to make up for it by eating light.
  4. If they ask if you’re starving yourself, laugh and deny the crap out of it. “You should’ve seen me inhaling those donuts last night. There’s NO WAY I’d be able to starve myself, of all people.”
  5. Say you’re on a diet and how you’ve been failing it for the past 3 days. Make sure you complain about how hard it is.
  6. Act like you’re OBSESSED with food. Talk about that one dish you’ve been craving from your favorite restaurant. Go into detail. Make them believe you love food more than life. (This one’s the most effective for me).
  7. Post pictures of food (that you won’t be eating) on Snapchat.
  8. Tell them you ordered a soup/salad because you’re broke and it’s the cheapest thing on the menu.
  9. Pretend you’re fasting for religious reasons.
  10. If they ask how you lost weight: smaller portions and no eating past 6.
  11. When they ask, tell people you weigh 5 or 10 pounds more than your actual weight.
  12. If you’re losing weight quickly, wear baggier clothes for a while so they think the weight loss happened gradually.

*obviously different excuses work with different people. These are just some things that work for me personally. As always, stay safe lovelies ❤️

starving for perfection

FIVE DAY WATER ( sorta ) FAST!!

This fast will be a time to cleanse your body, mind, and soul the ana way. By consuming only water and a nutrient dense salads for five days straight you will feel better and look better !!

THE RULES ARE

  • Drink 32 oz of ice cold lemon water first thing in the morning
  • Drink 16 oz of cinnamon apple cider vinegar water (recipe below)
  • For lunch eat a salad with kale, blueberries, beets, ½ avocado, and a tahini dressing. Don’t worry about the calories this is to help fuel our bodies. I’ll include the recipe I use below
  • Drink 32 oz of plain ice water after lunch
  • Drink 32 oz of lemon ice water for dinner
  • Drink 16 oz of hot lemon water before bed
  • Have a 16 oz cup of ice water by your bed just in case
  • BLACK COFFEE and COFFEE with unsweetened or sweetened nut milk (1 cup max a day) is allowed
  • Unsweetened green, black, or peppermint tea is allowed
  • If you can afford to, drink kombucha with your lemon water dinner
  • ONLY light exercises (jumping jacks, sit ups, push ups, walks, etc)

if ANYONE and I really mean ANYONE needs a support person or a friend to rant to or some advice, PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME. I am here to support all of you. I know it seems a bit odd coming from an ED account but I really truly want you all to stay safe. Also you don’t have to want to talk about eating disorders. I know a fair amount about other illnesses as well. I have anxiety, depression, BPD, PTSD, ADHD, anorexia b/p subtype (duh), along with some physical ones like GERD, tendonitis, and alopecia. I also struggle with self harm and serious suicidal thoughts / actions, problems with my parents (although I am in a great place with my parents, i know what it’s like to hate them)

I REALLY WANT TO BE HERE FOR ANYONE THAT NEEDS SOMEONE!

I know there are times when you just need a friend and I want to be that person. I want to be a safe person for everybody. I know its scary to reach out sometimes but I am a very friendly and accepting person. 

I WANT TO BE HERE FOR YOU AND HELP YOU!!!

I WILL ALSO NEVER ENCOURAGE EATING DISORDERED BEHAVIORS SUCH AS PURGING, RESTRICTING / FASTING, AND I WON’T EVER MENTION WEIGHT OR WEIGHT LOSS. I JUST WANT TO BE A SUPPORTIVE AND HELPFUL PERSON!

I also usually have tumblr as one of the tabs on my computer and I have it on my phone as well so I will most likely be able to respond pretty fast.

PLEASE READ AND REPOST IF YOU CARE ABOUT ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH BULIMIA! EVEN IF YOU DON’T KNOW ANYONE STRUGGLING (which would be odd because this is the eating disorder side of tumblr) REPOST TO RAISE AWARENESS!!

Does anyone else have to shake the carbonation out of their drinks because having a history of bulimia wrecked their esophageal sphincter so much that they can’t keep carbonated drinks down… they just bubble their way up.

Also I was born with chronic GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) which makes it even harder to keep food down.

On a serious side note, bulimia can seriously fuck up your teeth, your stomach, your esophageal sphincter, and your esophagus just to name a few. Please don’t purge. I can’t lay down on my stomach or side or back without a couple pillows because I will vomit. It makes sleeping super hard. The thing is, these consequences of my bulimia will never go away. I will have these side effects for the rest of my life. I know this post probably won’t stop anything but having cameras shoved down your throat to biopsy your esophagus and stomach really isn’t fun or cute or trendy. It really hurts. If you encourage bulimia or purging when you get past your “calorie limit”, please keep the fuck away from me.

Side note: this post has the tags of “pro mia”, “mia tips”, and “mia tricks” and so on to hopefully catch the eye of someone struggling with bulimia so they might possibly realize the permanent side effects. Again, I don’t know if this post will help but I really hope it does.

Update

I had to break my fast because i had a syncope episode and one of the staff watched me convulse. I ate something and now I feel better. Stay safe when you fast!
