I pretend that the reason freshman premeds irritate me so much is that they need to chill, but the reality is that I need to be less chill about the premed stuff and so I just feel personally attacked by people who have their shit together

Me: perhaps temporarily but everywhere i go that’s indoors is blasting the air-conditioning and i get cold really quick.
Ppl: it’s not THAT cold inside

So basically this is something that I’ve always been picked on about by pretty much everyone in my family or even complete strangers (with the exception of my SO because they are amazing and dgaf what i wear). I worked on a cruise ship for a while and i ALWAYS wore sweaters or a hoodie…. In the Caribbean. I looked insane, sure, but i don’t get that hot like…. Ever. I’d rather look crazy but be comfortable and not shivering everywhere i go. And sweaters are cute af.
Idk if anyone else has had this happen to them but i figured I’d share cause perhaps i might find my perpetually cold twin lol.
I have pretty sparse eyebrows. Like wax once a year sparse. A few years ago that wasn’t really a big deal. In fact, it was great because i didn’t have to spend $15 every two weeks and never had to pluck. But now thick and defined eyebrows are very trendy. What are the girls with thin eyebrows to do? Sure, filling in your eyebrows helps but my eyebrow game will never be as strong as Lily Collins! And the drawn on eyebrow look is worse then no eyebrows at all!
Here’s what I do:
I have accepted that I cannot achieve extremely thick eyebrows. And I’m okay with that. I make sure to shape my eyebrows in a way that flatters my face shape! I fill my eyebrows in with the Anastasia Beverley Hill brow wiz in soft brown ($21). I set them with Anastasia brow gel ($22). And while they don’t look really thick they definitely look more defined.
While not everyone can achieve the super thick and defined eyebrow look, we can all achieve well groomed, attractive eyebrows!
Mom has to drive me to Target tomorrow (to pick up Lover!!) and this conversation happened
Mom: “Do you really need to go to Target tomorrow?”
Me: “Yes…”
Mom: “Why? For something pointless?”
Me: “It’s not pointless to me…”
Mom: “Is it a new song out?”
Me: “It’s not a song, it’s an album…”
And then I ramble on for a few more seconds tryna convince her and she just walks away without saying anything. But I think we’re going. On the other hand she does also enjoy @taylorswiftsongs

Heisenberg initially took a few steps back as the goop all settled on the floor, bubbling around like a boiling pot of water, this surely would not be good. Was it all just a gimmick? A simple facade..?

As the mass began to grow more distinguished features, it grew into the form of a woman, standing in front of them all and dressed almost exactly as expected. A long robe and various necklaces and chains decorated around her throat along with a very large statement fixture on her head- some sort of crown.The unknown woman drew Miranda’s attention, narrowing her eyes for a short moment, though, he almost saw a familiarity in her.
“Oh- abuse- such a harsh word.” She trailed, crossing her hands over one another, trailing around the group as if they weren’t all armed. It was clear she wasn’t afraid.
“I never abused. I enhanced the great gift of life. I gave my children strength and great power that mere humans could only dream of. Though still, it wasn’t enough.” She explained grimly, as if she was speaking about a normal experience. “They weren’t strong enough. Evident in their corpses littered around. But my sweet Eva- she’s perfect. She will be the perfect successor.”
The struggle with the Unwind series is that when something mind blowing or catostrophic happens in the book you can’t talk about it with anyone because NO ONE ELSE HAS READ IT…
