One of my favorite easy dinners: Crustless veggie quiche. Sauté a bunch of vegetables and put in the bottom of a buttered baking dish. Top with 6-8 eggs scrambled with a little milk and some S&P. Finish off with a little cheese of your choice and then bake at 375 till done (about 45 minutes depending on how many eggs). This one has tomatoes, onions, garlic, Swiss chard, kalamata olives, and fresh dill! Today our first batch of meat birds arrived. I cleaned out the old hog barn and joined two of the stalls to make the area for the Ohio brooder, which I have started calling mother. It is such a simple yet effective design. The birds can self regulate their temp by darting in and out as they need. And for 125 birds it only uses 2 125W bulbs. The last image is a peek inside - a bird’s eye view if you will.
