Day Four of #beyourownvalentine2019 - Goals. It’s time for a goal check in! We are just over a month into 2019. How are you doing with the goals you set for this year? Did you know that people who write down their goals are 80% more likely to accomplish them?! Make 2019 your year. Because you love yourself, baby!

Your challenge for today is to, if you have not already, write down your goals for 2019. I recommend splitting it into Health/Career/Personal categories. At least 2 for each category! Make sure you are examining the WHY behind each goal and that WHY is a healthy, positive reason FOR YOU. Not for anyone else.

Pilots know the importance of staying consistently on target. If they are even one degree off course, with time they can end up 500 miles away from where they need to be. We can all learn a thing or two from pilots: precision, focus, and commitment add up over time. Reaching your goals is very tough without these traits. Now, this doesn’t mean one slip up will suddenly make your goal unachievable - correcting your course is possible! And what’s more, some goals are larger targets than others. Coming up 30 yards off target is okay when your target is 50 miles wide. But a very precise target requires a very precise course. An example here is having a goal of living a healthier, balanced lifestyle (50 mile target), or bringing your best package ever to a bodybuilding stage (precise target). Striving to be healthier allows for more wiggle room. Competing in bodybuilding requires every decision you make to be on track. Assess your own goals. How wide of a target do you have? Are you making decisions to keep you on track? Your goal is your purpose. Recommit to it every day.

If you think of starting - do it now, don’t wait.
If the doubt sneaks in and you feel like quitting - keep going even harder.
You will never reach your goal if you stop working towards it.
Getting closer to your goal can only happen if you keep on going.

Being disciplined is very hard. A lot of us are rebellious. So being disciplined to work out is even harder. Did you know people will try to loose weight 67 times in their life time. But why?

It’s hard to stick to routines that are not fun at all. Here are some tips to build up your discipline:

I am better than I was at this point last year, and I am becoming better and better with each passin

I am better than I was at this point last year, and I am becoming better and better with each passing day.
.
This time 4 years ago I was trying to rebuild myself. Trying to learn a lot about relationships and life and trying to me a mom of 2 now.
.
Now I am stronger more independent and know my worth. I will never be pushed or used again. I am way better then who I was years ago.
.
Make sure you are growing and learning. Push yourself daily. If you don’t put in the work you have no one to blame but yourself.

Happy New Years Everyone! I’m sending and wishing you nothing but positive energy, prayers, and productiveness & within your life. Just know whatever it is you’re going through now that you’re not alone. No matter how your situation now does not determine your future. God ALWAYS has a plan for, you for the better. A positive mindset can take you so far in life. 

Here are some keynotes and a little advice from me to you to think about this upcoming year! 

• Everyday you should try to be better than who you were yesterday 

• It’s important to stay consistent with yourself when goal making. The point of making a goal is to achieve it (Which you will) 

•Live, learn and grow from your mistakes always continue to better yourself on a daily basis 

•Stay BUSY & stay FOCUSED 

•Try to make the best out of nothing! • Motivate YOURSELF! Have faith in your vision! 

•Don’t compare yourself to others, do what makes YOU happy 

•Once you reach your goals you should always continue to make new ones! Keep the grind and the same energy as when you started 

•Most importantly LOVE YOURSELF
