As a KTDK shipper, at first I was upset Bakugou wasn’t the one who reach Deku’s hand but after reflexion… I love Hori-sensei’s parallel about the Kamino stories.
With Bakugou’s kidnapping, Deku really wanted to be the one who catch Bakugou’s hand but he knew that Bakugou will never accept his hand so he asked Kirishima to be the one cause he is Bakugou’s friend.
In Deku’s “rescue”, Bakugou wanted to reach Deku cause he has something he wants/needs to tell him but hold back and in place, throwing Iida at Deku because Iida is faster, full of speed and also, Deku’s friend.
Also, the OFA 2nd user appears again with his quote “Deku’s bolster” can be Bakugou but equally the class 1-A
