“well we’re not the ones with a bad history of back stabbing.” Tony stated.

you all looked at Loki who looked around then turned to you, “would you say something?”

you raised your hands in defense to say ‘dont drag me into this.’

“wow, great girlfriend you are.” Loki sighed, “fine, i admit, i don’t have the best track record but i have Y/N now, that’s got to count for something doesn’t it?”

“admit it, you have been changing your appearance to be me to get close to Y/N.” Thor stated, hammer on Loki’s chest.

“okay, i’ll admit.” Loki said, “yes, i sometimes make myself look like you so i can go visit Y/N.”

“why?”

Loki laughed, “why do you think?”

“i think you’re in love with her.” Thor grinned, “which is why i told her so myself.”

Nemesis: Origins

Loki x GreekGoddess!Reader Part 2

A/N: Hey y’all! This was actually a fic I had written a while ago back when I was in high school on another platform and for some reason never posted it here because I’m an idiot lol. I might have to do minor edits because some of this shit is cheesy. But here it is now! I hope y’all enjoy.

Summary: Imagine being Nemesis, the Greek goddess of Vengeance and Retribution, and the daughter of Hera and Zeus. Since you were a child, all you had known was the language of the sword due to your father’s ideology. But your sister Athena taught you not only the strategies of warfare but also the ways of the philosopher and the diplomat. Following the tournament and celebration of your coming into adulthood, your father sends you and your half-sister Tara on a mission to a far away planet you had never once thought you’d ever see.

Warnings: None

Prologue,Part 1

It had been a month since the day you met Aurora, and life had been pleasant since then. You would see each other nearly every day in your favorite spot in the garden, the spot under the pillared gazebo with nothing but trees and flowers surrounding the area. Even Drakon had grew to like her, and he tended to be quite the picky dragon when it came to people other than you. During the time spent together, you would tell each other many stories. Aurora had confessed the troubles of her life, how she was invisible amongst her brothers and sisters and in the eyes of her mother. And in return, you told her about the troubles of your own. You told her how often you noticed the way people looked at you strange because you didn’t look like other Olympians. You told her about how they always frowned at your unkept, boyish appearance, something they thought to be unfitting of a princess. They also didn’t like the fact that you always spoke your mind, which eventually led to word being spread around like wildfire of your outlandish behavior, much to the disappointment of your parents. “It’s un-lady-like” they would say. But, apart from that, you didn’t let the rumors and critiques of others bother you.

You both had dreams of your own. Dreams of escaping, traveling to other realms. Aurora told you how she would like to travel one day to other places to discover the different possible dragons that might inhabit there, and at the same time, master her elemental abilities. And when she had asked you what you dreamed of doing someday, you replied that you would like to see other worlds, see the beauty of their landscape and architecture while meeting other peculiar individuals. You confessed how you also hoped to master not only your skills of warfare and the blade, but also the penmanship and intelligence of the wise while finally perfecting the abilities of your telepathy. And as of right now, you were already well on your way of achieving just that by attending your daily sessions with your sister Athena.

“So have you learned anything new from your powers?” You asked your friend, your hands folded across your stomach as you stared up at the sky, following the clouds as they moved from your spot on the grass.

“Not yet.” Aurora replied as she picked at the green grass near her feet as she sat with her legs crossed, “And you?"

"No, nothing yet. I can still hear thoughts and read a few minds but, that’s it.” You shrugged your shoulders in disappointment. You wanted nothing more than to match the skills of those you knew, and it didn’t help that it was taking you a long time to reach the goals you had set for yourself. Everyone in your family had already mastered their powers at your age and the thought of it made you upset with yourself.

“Nemesis!” You heard your father’s loud voice booming through the garden, the sound startling Drakon awake from his nap.

“I’m here papa.” You called out at him before turning to Aurora to see her tense up.

You saw your father walk towards you with a smile, catching the way his eyes glanced over at Aurora rather displeasingly. The subtle action made her cower behind you in timidness, her hands held behind her as she stared down at the grass beneath her feet.

“It’s okay Aurora,” You whispered to her. “It’s just my papa."

"I know, but still.” She mumbled back as she looked up at you from under her lashes.

“Come y/n, we have matters to attend to.” He spoke, extending an open hand towards you.

“……..Yes papa.” You muttered with a lowered head, your lips formed into a pout as you took his large hand after telling Drakon to stay.

“You should go home to your mother Aurora.” Zeus gave Aurora a stern look, a look that made you frown at the sight of it.

Did your father not like her?

“Yes, your majesty. Bye y/n.” Aurora bowed quietly before walking off with her head facing the ground.

You tried to open your mouth to ask your father Zeus about Aurora, curious as to why he had looked at her as if she were some beggar but resulted in changing your mind once you saw his expression. "Papa?“

"Yes child?"

"Where are we going?"

"It’s a surprise.” Zeus told you as he lead you off to another side the garden, his eyes focused on someone ahead.

You followed his gaze, looking ahead and tilting your head in curiosity upon seeing a beautiful woman, her chestnut skin glowing against the sun’s rays as her tight ebony curls blow gently against the wind, holding the hand of a younger girl your age that resembled her. Yet her eyes, they resembled another, of someone you knew.

Who is she?

You heard the woman bend down to whisper a few words in her daughter’s ear. Whatever she had said made the little girl’s eyes widen in shock as she stared at your father. She looked back up at her mother for assurance before looking back at Zeus, taking a step towards him nervously. You watched curiously from behind your father as he kneeled down to face her properly before taking her small hand in his.

“You are very special child. I’m sure this whole arrangement has you baffled but rest not you aren’t alone.” Zeus uttered to the little girl before motioning to you. "This here is y/n, my daughter and your half sister. Y/n, this your sister Tara and her mother Neith.“

You let out an inaudible gasp, your eyes widened at what he had just said. Your father and an Egyptian goddess? Was this forbidden or just unheard of? Did your mother know of this? The little girl Tara looked at you with a baffled expression, the both of you mirroring each other as you locked eyes with her.

A million thoughts ran through your little head as you tried to figure out what she was thinking. What if she hated you right now. What if she thought you were pathetic and not worthy of being a sister. At this point, you didn’t know what to think, you thought you would be the last remaining child of Zeus, and yet, here she was. A girl from another realm, carrying the blood of the Egyptian gods through your veins, your new half-sister. As a result of your rash and panicked thinking, you decided on a duel. You would challenge her to a duel in order to find out her true intentions….if she had any.

"Hi I’m y/n. Do you also have powers like me? I just wanted to know because I’m psychic, a warrior and will soon be able to fly. What can you do?” You introduced yourself, sticking out your tiny hand for her to shake.

“Hello, I can talk to animals and with practice and training I can get their abilities. I’m also a gifted warrior, I can use any weapon you give me.” Tara introduced herself as well, shaking your hand eagerly.

She can talk to animals? You thought, suddenly becoming disappointed over your own abilities or rather lack thereof. Why did you have to be gifted with such bland abilities? Remember y/n, do not make yourself seem weak, especially not in front of your new sister.

“Then it’s settled, we shall spar, swords only.” You announced with your arms crossed.

“Y/n!” Zeus uttered your name in alarm. “You can’t just ask your sister, whom you just met, to spar with you.”

“Is this area ok with you?” Tara stood with her small sword in hand, a blade that had a strange curve on the ends that you had never seen before.

“Let them Zeus. Come over here and watch with me.” Neith told the rather baffled looking Zeus as she dragged him to the side.

With both of your small dulled swords in your hands, you began to circle each other, one foot overstepping the other, your eyes focused on each other’s movements and waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Tara was the one to pull the first attack, lunging forward in front of you as she swung her blade down to your shoulder. In a swift movement, you brought up your own sword and parried the attack, hitting her blade away with the edge of yours in a loud clink. Remembering what Athena had taught you, you attacked her with quick strikes and forced her to be on the defensive, deceiving her to think that was the only stance that you were capable of. A small smirk formed on your lips as you started to build up some confidence, even enjoying the refreshing moment of having the chance to spar with someone other than Athena. Tara was good with the blade, but not good enough, you thought. Before you were able to land another swing at her, Tara did a 360 pivot to the right, her sandals brushing against the dirt of the path before pressing her blade to your neck.

“Stand down.” She ordered in your ear.

Oh dear sister, do not pride in yourself that quick.

“What makes you think I’m ready to give up?” You asked her, trying your best to hide the smirk that tugged at your lips.

“You spent most of your energy doing quick heavy attacks while I was guarding. Any more fighting is useless.” She smiled at you before releasing her sword off your neck and dropping it to her side.

“I see.” You lowered your sword as well and returned it to your belt. “You really are skilled, however,” you smirked as you grabbed her arm, flipping her over your shoulder and pinning her to the ground. “Never let your guard down sister.”

Tara and you let out a childish giggle at the act, a smile appearing on your lips as you helped her up before dusting yourselves off. Neith and Zeus were amused with your little combat techniques, sending the both off you off to play while they went off to discuss some important matters. You decided to show Tara around a bit and took her to the far side of the garden, your favorite little spot where you found Drakon waiting for you. Tara had stood in shock at seeing Drakon, it was her first time seeing a dragon. Back in her home they had similar beasts but instead they resembled large snakes, something that rather terrified the young Egyptian princess. But thankfully, it didn’t take long for Tara and Drakon to warm up to each other. The two of you shared stories in the spot under the gazebo as you told her everything there was to know about Olympus and the different creatures that can be spotted throughout the realm. You listened with fascination as Tara described to you about the vastness of her homeland. She explained how that her realm wasn’t that much different from Midguards continent of Africa, and was all together magical in it’s own uniqueness and even promised to take you with her to visit someday. You were happy for once, relieved to have a sister such as her. Now that she was around, you didn’t feel left out after having to be the youngest of Zeus’s children and not having anyone to relate to. Tara and you had connected the moment you first saw each other, and nothing had made you happier than that very moment. You heard some footsteps in the distance and turned your head to see someone you knew, a stunning young woman who carried this certain warmth and kindness in her eyes that you have yet to see in anyone else, your mother Hera.

“Nemesis darling, Tara, your father would like to see you both.” She smiled at the two of you with her hands folded in front of her, a sparkle in her eye at seeing that the two of you had got along so quickly.

“Mana!(mother in Greek)” You gasped, looking between her and your sister with wide eyes, “You know Tara?”

“Why of course I do.” She nodded her head, her eyes that resembled the feathers of a peacock resting upon Tara’s surprised face. Her soothing voice that you loved to hear softening when she spoke to your sister. “My name is Hera young princess. I am the Queen of Olympus.”

“Nice to meet you your majesty.” Tara marveled at your mother, her eyes filled with awe and shock upon meeting a woman she had only heard about through her own mother.

“What does papa want?” You asked Hera, your eyebrows furrowed in curiosity.

“Why don’t you go see for yourselves then?” Hera smiled while helping the two of you to our feet before leading you back to the garden. Upon arriving once more on the stone path that led into the garden, you found Zeus and Neith sitting on one of the stone benches, their voices hushed in silent conversation before abruptly stopping at the sound of your footsteps. There was something hidden behind their eyes, a thought that was ready to be revealed as they focused their gaze on Tara and you. Something told you there was another reason your sister Tara came to Olympus today, and it wasn’t just for introductions.

“What is it Papa?” You asked as you walked up to him, resting your hands on the fabric of his bent knees. “What’s wrong?”

“Oh nothing serious child.” He answered with a soft smile, placing a hand on your shoulder before facing Tara and waving her over. “Come hither Tara.”

You watched Tara as she timidly walked over to your side, her hand clutching the back of your tunic in nervousness.

“Are…are we in trouble?” She mumbled out.

“Oh no no my dear child!” Zeus chuckled out, the ends of his eyes crinkling in humor as he placed his other hand on Tara’s shoulder as well.

“Then what is it Papa?” You asked him the same question with a frown, not amused at his lack of answering to your inquiries. You didn’t like to be left in the dark.

“I’m taking you both to a new place.” He finally answered, his words making you tilt your head in confusion.

A new place? What new place?, you thought.

“What new place sir?” You heard Tara ask the exact same question you were going to ask next.

“There’s no need to be formal Tara, for I am your father.” Zeus smiled at her.

“Yes….father.” Tara mumbled shyly at him, not used to having the idea of a father thrown at her so suddenly. She wanted to accept that this man she had never seen before was her father, but it was all still new information for her.

“Now, go get dressed.” Your father nodded off in the opposite direction. “We’re going to leave in a bit. Tara, I believe your mother already has garments for you.”

“I can’t wear this?” You referred to your tunic, your face scrunching up at the thought of dressing up when you were already in something comfortable.

“Y/n child.” Zeus stared you down with an amused smirk, “You must wear something else. You’ve been training in this tunic, it’s covered in dirt.”

“……yes papa.” You let out a sigh, mumbling as you did so.

You knew there was no way you were going to win this argument.

“Go to your mother and Aphrodite, they’ll dress you.”

“Yes papa.” You let out another sigh as you walked away while Tara went along with her mother Neith.

You waved Drakon over, letting him tag along behind you as you walked back to your father’s palace. To be honest, though you didn’t like the idea of travelling on such a short notice, you were excited to see just where it was that you and Tara were heading. You entered the courtyard of your father’s palace; it was a large open space lined with pillars and the greenest plants and trees that bared colorful exotic fruits that left a mouth-watering scent when you passed by them, with a fountain that spilled water onto the rectangular pool of water just below it. You smiled to see your mother waiting patiently for you, leaning against one of the pillars with your aunt Aphrodite standing beside her. Drakon stayed in the courtyard under the shade while you walked over to your mother.

“Mana!” You giggled as you ran over to hug her, your little arms wrapping around her legs while you pressed your cheek against her stomach before smiling up at Aphrodite. “Hello theía (Aunt in greek).”

“Hello Nemesis.” Aphrodite smiled back at you, the sun’s rays radiating against her skin and making her pink rose-toned hair glow brighter.

“Careful y/n! Come, let’s get you cleaned up and dressed.” Hera beamed down at you before taking your hand and leading you to your bedroom, your sandals echoing in clicks against the marble and gold floors of the inside of the palace.

“Must I wear this mana?” You looked back at your mother as you tugged on your new dress that draped over your shoulders and stopped down at your elbows while she tied a golden silk belt around your torso. “It’s pink.”

“But it looks lovely on you y/n dear.” Aphrodite gave a playful pout.

“Listen my dear kóri (daughter). It’s only for today.” Hera kneeled down in front of you to put her hands on your shoulders and look into your eyes. “And who knows, you might even find a boy.”

“Ewwww! No mana! That’s gross!” You made a face, sticking out your tongue and feigning a puking sound. “Boys are for friends only. And they have germs.”

“Did Athena tell you that?” Hera smiled amusingly before standing back up.

“Yes. Can I at least keep my bracers on mana?”

“Oh alright, you can.”

“Bye y/n! Have a safe journey my dear.” Aphrodite waved you goodbye as you did the same.

“Come Drakon!” You called your dragon over, excited to show him the new sights as well. As long as he went with you, you’d look more forward to the trip.

Drakon trotted along beside you as you went to meet with your father and sister, looking ahead to see them standing next to Neith.

“Papa!” You giggled as you ran up and hugged him.

“You’re quite eager child. And don’t you look as lovely as the Elysian fields.”

“No.” You let out a blunt disagreement before turning to Tara in and gasping at her new dress and cloak. “You look beautiful adelfí.”

“Adelfí?” She furrowed her brows with confusion.“

"It means sister.”

“Ohhh.” Tara nodded with a smile. “Thank you ‘ukht. You look beautiful too.”

“Does 'ukht mean sister?” You asked her with excitement to which she nodded before adding. “It’s a beautiful language.”

“Come now children.” Zeus cleared his throat before gesturing over to his flying vessel, the made up of sturdy Olympian wood and gold with pearl inlays that detailed certain areas. The vessel resembled the ships used by the ancient Greeks, something you had seen pictures of in books. “There’s no time for waste.”

You had always seen one of these things in the sky whenever you were out and about, but this was your first time boarding one. Growing up, you had envied the individuals who had the opportunity to be on one, traveling whenever they needed to.

“Papa. Can Drakon go?” You asked your father.

“I’m afraid not kóri.” Zeus shook his head with a frown. “Where we’re going, I’m not sure if those people will take a liking to him.”

“But he’s kind.” You frowned at his words, wondering why in the realms anyone would not take a liking to your dragon, the same dragon who had never even hurt the smallest living thing. Not only that, but Drakon was still a child.

“I know y/n. I gave you the greatest and most kindest dragon in all the realms. But that doesn’t mean others will see him as that.”

“Yes papa.” You sighed before turning to Drakon and hugging him. “I’m sorry o fílos mou (my dear friend). You’ll have to stay here with mana. But don’t worry. I’ll be back soon.”

Drakon whined in reply as he buried his head in your neck, his scales tickling your skin as he tried not to tear up because he knew that would make you cry as well. You let go of Drakon reluctantly, frowning as you watched him walk over to Hera’s side, letting her rest her hand on his head and stroke the scales on his head.

You started to walk onto the ramp that connected your father’s ship but stopped when you felt his hands hold you back by the shoulders, “Wait for a moment child.”

“Yes papa?”

“Here.” He pulled out a deep maroon wool cloak, wrapping the fabric around your shoulders before pulling the hood onto your head. “Wear this cloak.”

“What for papa?”

“No one must know about your wings y/n child. They might not be accustomed to such a thing.” He advised as he fastened the hook on your cloak before resting his hands on your shoulders.

“People are strange.” You frowned at the thought of having to change such little things in order for others to not notice you. You couldn’t seem to understand the reasoning, but at the same time you suppose your father had a point. If the people on your home planet looked at you differently, imagine the ones on others.

“They can be.” Zeus puts a gentle hand on your back, leading you onto the ship.

Tara and you waved goodbye to Hera, Neith and Drakon at the end of the ramp before walking off to stand beside one another at the back of the ship.

“Are you nervous adelfí?” You asked your sister, setting your hands on the wooden bar of the rail and staring out onto the horizon as clouds passed by ahead of you. If you had just reached out your hand, you could brush your fingertips against them and finally get to know what a cloud felt like. Your father’s land or rather his own separate kingdom was a piece of land that was separate from the earth of the planet Olympus itself, hovering in the air above the ground like it’s very own floating city.

“A little bit. I’ve never been outside of Egypt so Olympus is still new to me.” She answered.

“I’ve never been outside of palace grounds.” You muttered, trying your best not to look down at the earth below as if you would fall straight off.

“Really?” Tara stared at you, shocked that you had never left the grounds of your father’s kingdom, not even the palace. There was so much to see, and here you were, living your whole life confined in the walls and gardens of the palace you called home.

“No.” You shook your head with a half efforted smile. “Father said it’s dangerous, so I’ve never been outside.”

“Don’t worry.” You felt her wrap her arm around your shoulders. “There’s nothing to be afraid of. I’ll protect you.”

“And I’ll protect you.” You smiled back.

“How does Olympus stay in the air?” Tara asked you as she gripped onto the rail, sticking her head out and peering out onto the depths of the world below as the ship started to sail.

“Olympus is the name of our planet.” You explained with a gesture of your hands. “This place, this is my father’s kingdom called Ouránia, which means the heavens. From what papa told me, my uncles Poseidon and Hades, and I think the rest of the major gods have their own kingdom. Poseidon and Hades for sure though.”

“Really? That’s interesting.”

“I can’t wait to get older and visit everything here.” You rested your elbows on the rail of your father’s ship, bringing your head down to rest on your hands as the wind blew gently through the strands of your hair.

“I can’t wait to see where father is taking us.” Tara copied your stance, bringing her head down to rest on her hands as well.

“That is true.” You smiled as you peered out at the horizon again, admiring the scenery and the architecture of your father’s floating city as you drifted further away form it.

It wasn’t long before the ship came to a stop and your father had directed you to follow him out onto the ramp, and when you did, you grabbed Tara’s hand and stepped onto the platform of the new area you had just stopped, not even daring to glance at at the vastness below.

“Where are we papa?” You asked as you followed him towards a large golden crystal-like building that resembled a rather extravagent dome.

“This is our planetarium.” Zeus gestured to the structure in front of him. “And this is also where our tilemetaforéa is located.”

“Teleporter?” You quirked a brow in question. Why was your father taking you to a teleporter? You heard those were only for long distances, as in other realm travels.

“Papa.” You gasped. “We’re going to another realm?”

“Correct y/n. Which realm? That’ll be a surprise.” Zeus smiled as he lead the two of you into the golden dome where you found your older brother Hermes standing in the center.

“Two realms in one day?” Tara whispered to you, her eyes wide and her lips pressed into a firm line. “That’s a lot.”

“Hermes son.” Zeus clapped your brother on the back. “Take us to where I have informed you of.”

“Yes father.” Hermes nodded before smiling at us. “Hello y/n. Hello Tara.”

Tara and you uttered your greetings before following your father up this metallic winding stairs that led into a rather spacious area with big open windows that revealed the wonder before you. Beyond the glass, millions of stars were able to be seen, all of them scattered around you like the sprinkling of glitter, and in between them distant planets. You had always seen the stars and planets from afar from your place at home, but this was beyond anything you had ever imagined. It was as if they were just a mile away.

“It’s beautiful isn’t it.” Zeus breathed out, a proud smile sitting on his lips as he held both Tara’s and your hand as he stared out at the held beyond the window before him. “Brace yourselves my daughters. This might be nauseating.”

At first, there was this loud sound, like the sound of gears turning all around you, and then suddenly this bright gold light filled the many other crystal like colors enveloped all around you. And then, you felt a strange whiplash sensation take over your body, yanking you off your feet and transporting you away from your home planet and to another realm.

Prologue,Part 2

(In this chapter y/n is currently 8 years old. The characters Tara and Aurora belong to a friend.)

“Come on y/n! Move your feet!” You heard your older sister Athena shout at you as she swung her sword down on your head, her untamed hair blowing against the wind as she moved.

You flinched at the action and brought your shield up to block her blow before clashing your sword against hers, the clinking of metal echoing across the practice arena.

Athena took the chance and connected her sandal wrapped foot with your torso, knocking you down to the sand in the process. “Close your spaces! Never give your enemies an open opportunity to wound you!"

You rolled over onto your scraped up knees and stood up only to get knocked down again by Athena’s shield. "Come on y/n. You have to try harder.”

“I am.” You groaned as you got up on your feet with a pout, your body, tunic, and the wings perched on your back covered with sand and dirt.

“There you are!” You heard a cheerful booming voice.

You whipped your head around at the voice, a grin appearing on your face to see your father Zeus walking to you with his arms outreached.

“Papa!” You giggled as you dropped your sword and shield, running into your father’s arms.

“Look at you.” Zeus chuckled at your filthy appearance as he picked you up, resting you on his hip. “I hope you’ve fought well.”

“She’s rather rough around the edges.” Athena stepped up to the two of you with her hands on her hips. “Time will make her better.“

"But you were the greatest warrior in all the realms at her age.” Zeus told Athena.

“But I am the goddess of war and wisdom father.” Athena explained to him. “Everyone is different. And y/n is still a child.”

“Well practice makes perfect. Isn’t that right y/n?” Zeus turned to you.

“Yes papa.” You muttered out before speaking up. “Papa? Can I go play?”

“Of course child.” Zeus smiled at you before setting you down on the ground.

A grin formed on your face as you ran towards your dragon, Drakon (Drah-kon), who sat on the grass. Father had gifted him to you when you were born and he was still a baby too at that time.

“Come on Drakon!” You giggled at him as you tackled him.

Drakon, who was not much bigger than you, nuzzled your face before tagging alongside you as you ran towards the palace garden, your sandals smacking against the pavement as your wings ruffled behind you against the wind.

You ran to your favorite secluded spot, opening up your satchel and taking out a book from your father’s journey to Earth. The book was called The Odyssey, and your father had told you how it was written by a man named Homer. You found it interesting to see what humans thought of your kind. You laid down on the grass with your body propped against Drakon as he huddled next to you. Opening up the leather bound book, you cleared your throat and started reading aloud, leaving all the worldly matters behind.

You had just finished the first four chapters when you heard a cry of happiness steadily coming closer that you desperately tried your best to ignore, though you grew worried when you heard the cry turn to fear. You closed your book and started to turn around when you suddenly felt something impact Drakon, knocking you onto the floor.

Drakon let out a snort of laughter at your fallen state, making you snap your head towards him, “That’s not funny Drakon.” You were upset that someone had the nerve to interrupt your reading time.

“Hey what was that for?” You yelled as you rushed around Drakon to see who it was, though Drakon didn’t seem that angry that someone hit him.

“Sorry..” You heard a quite voice mumble. To your surprise you saw a young girl, roughly the same age as you, rubbing her head from the impact. Your first impression of her was color, and not in a bad way, looking at her reminded you of what mortals call the Northern lights, or what you know of as Eos’s chariots. Her hair started of a deep black, as if you where staring at the night sky, but swirling through it were streams of red, blue, green, and most of all purple. Her skin was well tanned, as though she spent most of her time outside. She was wearing a dress that mimicked the sunrise, the top left part of her dress being the night sky, and the bottom right the rising sun. Her eyes where akin to an amethyst, though there was something in them you couldn’t place your finger on. On a closer look you saw a small line of scales encircling her head instead of a laurel.

“Sorry.” She mumbled out in a quiet voice. “I don’t mean to hit your dragon there.”

“His name is Drakon. Who are you?” You furrowed your brows at her as your small wings spread out in length in a defensive state.

You had never seen her before. Who is this creature?

The girl looked up at you and bowed into a small curtsy. “My name is Aurora, I am a child of Eos, your highness."

A child of Eos? You noticed how her face turned into an annoyed expression at the name of her mother.

"I’m y/n. I guess you already know that." You smiled politely, your wings relaxing behind your back. "Are you mad at your mom?"

"Huh?"

"You made a gross face when you said her name.” You explained to her.

You thought this girl was quite strange, and yet you were intrigued and wanted to know more about her.

“My mother has many children, so for the most part I am left alone.” She lowered her eyes as she fidgeted with her dress out of shyness.

“Well then Aurora, you won’t be alone anymore."

"I won’t?” She looked up at you, her eyes filled with curiosity.

“Nope! From now on, I will be your friend!” You gave her a toothy grin, making her giggle in response.

You watched how a frown had appeared on her face, her hand a blur as it moved past you catching a stone that had been thrown at your back.

“That isn’t nice you two.” Her eyes flickered, and for a moment you could have sworn to have seen them completely change to be similar to Drakon’s. You were shocked, confused even as you turned around to see who had thrown the stone in the first place. And to your surprise it was two of the locals, most likely the sons of merchants who had wandered away from their parents.

Drakon had let out a small growl upon seeing the two little boys were a few years older than you, thinking they were a threat.

“Drakon, don’t.” You whispered to him as you pushed him behind you with your tiny hands.

“And why should we listen to you, you are just another one of Eos’s brats.” The older of the two lashed out at Aurora.

“Yeah, and you aren’t even a real goddess, just a demi!” The younger one supported his the elder’s insult. “At least little miss wings here is an actual goddess.”

“Hey!” You called out, your eyes narrowing at the words that sputtered out of their twisted little mouths. “Why are you here?”

“Because we can you stupid girl.” The older one replied.

“Why are you yelling at her? She is a princess Mr. Stupid face.” Aurora yelled in response, puffing out her chest with clenched fists.

“At least Mother pays attention to me.” The now dubbed ‘Mr. Stupid face’ responded with.

From the corner of your eye, you caught how their words had affected her as she had let out a small wince.

“You tell her brother!” the other one cheered at the sight of Aurora’s frown.

“At least we have enough self confidence to not need to pick on someone to feel better.” Aurora spoke up out before you could say anything. You blinked in surprise at that, not expecting her to come up with such wit.

“Yeah, well, at least I have a mom that cares about me.” The boy snapped back, a smug look on his face.

You had had enough. “Oh yeah? Well if your mom really cared about you, she wouldn’t raise you to be an ill-tempered ogre-face!” You shouted at them, finally loosing your temper.

The two boys looked at you with blank expressions, the both of them surprised at such an outburst coming from someone of your status.

“You’re not even supposed to be here. You should run back home before I tell my father. Or maybe I’ll tell my uncle Hades!” You stuck up your nose, folding your arms across my chest.

An amused smirk formed on your lips as you watched the boys’ eyes widen in fear. You had secretly loved pulling that card, especially the one with your Uncle Hades. Everyone knew not to mess with the three major gods, even the one who ruled the dead themselves. You let out a giggle as the boys stumbled backwards on their feet before running away with a squeal and disappearing down the hill.

“And don’t come back you hear me!?” Aurora called out at them.

“So what’s it like having wings? Must be nice to be able to fly.” Aurora asked you as she poked her little fingers across the gold flakes that spotted your white feathers.

"Oh, I can’t fly yet. Papa said it’s because I’m still small, just like baby birds."

"Well maybe when you learn to fly, you can take me and we can go on adventures.” Aurora looked at you with hope and excitement on her face.

“Of course.” You smiled at her before sticking out your pink finger. “I promise.“

"Yay!” Aurora giggled before spreading her arms out and purposely falling on top of you.

Your child-like giggles ringed out throughout the garden as you began to talk of silly things like your favorite pastries, what sort of pranks you had once pulled, and why the clouds need to be made of candy, the two of you happy at the start of your new friendship.

Nemesis: Origins

Loki x GreekGoddess!Reader Prologue

Part 1,Part 2

Sun and Moon

The birth of Princess Tara Antaki was a joyous one. Everyone from all over Egypt came to see her, the daughter of Queen Neith, goddess of the hunt and war. It is said that she was born under a lunar eclipse, and from that, the gods and goddesses knew she would grew up to be beautiful, with kindness and generosity beyond any other. The animals too came to embrace and cherish the little baby girl, to which the gods decided she would be the goddess of all animals and combat. She was born with her mother’s beautiful face and hair, but her eyes, inherited from another father, were a bit different than his. They were the brightest of blue with bits of green that would make the Earth bow down to their beauty. Her skin was a beautiful bronze that resembled the richest of gold, her full lips resembled petals of a beautiful flower. And her hair was blacker than the blackest of nights and softer than silk with perfect curls that made Egyptians jealous. And on her wrist lay a delicate silver mark of a crescent moon. The gods and the people of Egypt joyously celebrated the birth of Princess Tara, and bestowed many blessings and gifts upon the Queen and her daughter, unaware of the birth of another child, in another world.

In a distant realm, not too far from Earth, a girl was born. A child of Olympus, the first natural born daughter of King Zeus and his wife, Queen Hera. The child was born under a solar eclipse, and the gods foretold that she would grow up to be beautiful with enormous energy that would light up the world. She was born with beautiful (your skin color) skin and beautiful hair the color of (your hair color) with brows that ever so perfectly framed her face. Her eyes were the color of gold that sparkled along with specks of purple that put the stars and suns to shame, a trait that was unique even to the Olympian gods. She was also born with a golden mark of a sun on her right wrist. Legend has it, that at the celebration of her birth, the little princess became angered over the actions of a thief, in which they decided to name her Nemesis and title her as the goddess of vengeance and retribution.

The birth of the two young princesses marks a historic turning point in the realm of the gods and mankind. The key to the future lies solely in their hands and it’s up to them to decide whether they want to save the world or destroy it.

mxltifandoms-imagines:

When Loki said those words he knew it wouldn’t change anything - it wasn’t his intention neither. Althought he was going to jail, he knew himself and probably he would trace a plan to escape. Nevertheless, if he did, he wouldn’t have the chance to be with you. Probably that was the last time you saw him as Loki, so it was now or never.

“How long have you felt this way?” you asked, nervousness running all across your veins at the sound of his voice.

Loki smiled sadly, trying to hide the emotion of his real feelings. ”Years.” he replied.
