Hello, everybody! Welcome to the 2022 oc pride challenge! Before we start, I must say this; randomestfandom’s helped with this challenge as the planning began months ago, but this is the LAST time Maddie will have anything to do with this blog or these challenges. I have now enlisted the help of people I consider much more trustworthy and welcoming for future challenges; @reyskestis and @juliaswickcrs. Now let’s get onto more fun things, the actual challenge… after the rules;
Rules

- Be kind to everyone!

- Don’t tag any edits not related to the challenge with that.
- This is for LGBTQIA+ ocs only… that’s why it’s the pride challenge.

Day One: Gay Day
Make something for a gay oc!
Day Two: Lesbian Day
Make something for a lesbian oc!
Day Three: Bi Day
Make something for a bisexual and/or biromantic oc!
Day Four: Poly Day
Make something for an oc who is polysexual and/or polyamorous oc!
Day Five: Pan Day
Make something for a pansexual and/or panromantic oc!
Day Six: Aro/Ace Day!
Make something for an oc on the aromantic and/or asexual oc!
Day Seven: Gender Day
Make something for an oc who is not cis!
Day Eight: Queer
Make something for an oc who is queer that does not fall under one of these labels, or any label at all!
WEEK TWO: PROMPTS
Day Nine: Girlfriend
Make something for an oc using the world girlfriend! A queer ocs first girlfriend? A quote with the word? A song with the word? Some cute girlfriends?
Day Ten: Boyfriend
Make something for an oc using the word boyfriend! A queer ocs first boyfriend? Some cute boyfriends? A quote with the word? A song with the word?
Day Eleven: Lover
Hey, maybe your oc doesn’t go by any gendered terms or maybe their love interest doesn’t, so use the word lover for this day!
Day Twelve: Friend
Love is not always romantic, especially because not everybody wants romance (and/or sex) in their life, some love is platonic! Make something using the word friend!
Day Thirteen: Family
Family, it can be a blessing or a curse. It can be blood or it can be chosen. Whatever the situation, use this word to make an edit for one of your ocs and their family!
Day Fourteen: Almost
Oh, what could’ve been… the most tragic things are the things that ended before they really started. An almost romance, an almost friendship… make something using the world almost!
Day Fifteen: Pride
This is the pride challenge, so of course we have to bring back this word prompt!
WEEK THREE (16th–2nd): QUEER ARTISTS
It’s queer artist week! Make something for an oc using a queer artist inspiration! Love Troye Sivan? He’s gay! Kehlani? Lesbian! Laith Ashley? Trans! Dove Cameron? Queer! Demi Lovato? Non-binary! It’s time to show off your favorite queer artists!
WEEK FOUR (23rd–29th): AU WEEK!
Make some aus for your ocs! Your oc as a character they relate to? Your queer oc ship as another ship? A time travel au? It’s time for ocs to take a trip to another universe!
DAY THIRTY: APPRECIATION!
Today is all about appreciating others and their ideas! Make something for someone else’s queer oc, or make something for a crossover between your queer oc and another queer oc!

Summary: After being found on the street and saved by Alfred Pennyworth, 7-year-old Maverick never expected him to take him back home and was accepted with open arms by the very people who lived there, the Waynes. Maverick was adopted by Alfred, taking on the Pennyworth name and duties. But Maverick took it a step further than that.
Maverick had become close to Wayne’s son Bruce, the two boys enjoyed each other’s company and played together, but everything changed when Bruce’s parents were murdered. Bruce had changed.
Maverick stayed loyal throughout the whole time by his side, but when he took on the mantel of being Batman, fighting crime alone. Maverick couldn’t stand idly by.

BOOK POSTERS: part two || nothing gold can stay
Aurelia Black, had come out of the Triwizard Tournament a winner and survivor alongside the famed Harry Potter. Dealing with not only the loss of her dear friend but the return of Lord Voldemort as well, Aurelia is holding everything together with a piece of thread and it’s on the verge of snapping. She’s not sure just how much longer she’ll last but once she takes a look at the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, she knows it’ll take a miracle for her to make it to the end of the year. And if she’s not going to make it through this year, you bet, Aurelia will take that pink toad down with her.
Everything has changed, Aurelia has changed and she’s afraid that she’s too far gone at this point and once that thread snaps, it’ll be too late for her. And she supposes this is oddly fitting, considering her name and what it means — the sun-faced star, the golden one — perhaps Robert Frost was right when he wrote Nothing Gold Can Stay. Of course, that would mean she would have had to be golden and she never was — a copper-filled girl trying so desperately to live up to the name bestowed up her but never quite reaching that goal. Perhaps, now she never will …

Hello, this Brianna ( @fyeahnevilleslongbottomsocs ) here making a blog specifically designated for her harry potter alternate universe series that I’ve been working on since 2016! The main book is called MAKE THEM GOLD it is set during Goblet of Fire, it’scompleted. Then there’s the direct sequel called NOTHING GOLD CAN STAY and that is almost completed but so far there’s only sixteen chapters published, the rest are in the drafts. There’s also a prequel that’s set in the same universe called WATCH ME WHILE I BLOOM but that’s on hold at the moment because of writer’s block.
This series can be read on AO3 which is my main platform but it’s also cross-posted on Fanfiction,Net & Wattpad. I will post the links to the series and books down below for you to check out.
THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE READING: this series contains triggering subject material so be sure to read the tags and the warnings at the beginning of the stories so you know what each story entails! These books are not beta read/proof read first so there is quite a lot of spelling mistakes I try my best to proofread each chapter before I publish them but sometimes mistakes slip past me, my eyes move faster than my brain a lot of time. I take constructive criticism but please be nice about it!

She hadn’t been playing games with Camilo today, he had recently been blessed by the Casita and his gift was that of shapeshifting. Herself, little Mirabel, and Camilo had been having a blast with his gift, much to everyone’s chagrin, since his birthday.
Moerai shrugs her shoulders nonchalantally “Tía Pepa doesn’t scare me, papá! ‘Sides, I don’t mind her storms.”

But somehow her family moved on in an unconventional way, Moerai stayed the same, always wondering when her papa would come back, wondering when it would be alright to talk about him again. And then Mirabel claims that the miracle is dying and it’s up to them to save it.❞
