I’ve noticed some posts in groups and on social media that speaks to why so many people have a negative association with veganism. It’s also why people who are vegan don’t want to be affiliated with the title. For those of you who are on the fence about becoming vegan and feel that way, those people are a minority. They don’t represent vegans around the world. We come in different shapes, backgrounds, and passions. .

Personally, I started my journey 18.5 years and I evolved and grown so much through the years. I never thought I would be vegan. It wasn’t a foreign concept for me growing up 7th day Adventist but I was good with being kosher. But one day something clicked and here I am almost 19 years later knowing it was the best decision I could have ever made. I wished I started this platform earlier but I thought I needed to look a certain way to be valued. Life forced my hand and said I needed to share what I know and now we have Yes Baby I Like It Raw. .

It can be soo paralyzing. The internal chatter can be incessant. You don’t feel like you are enough. You need to know more, get more, be more. But even when you check off the list satisfaction is elusive.

Also, I noticed that I usally get really sleepy after my lunch. Someone told me that it might be because my lunches are usually high in carbohydrates, so i’m trying out lunches with less carbohydrates to see if it makes a difference. Does any of you have some information on thay?
