October 15th, 2016: Curtis Allen, Gavin Wright, and Patrick Stein were stopped from setting off bombs at an apartment in Garden City, Kansas where Somali Muslim immigrants lived.
January 28th, 2017: Marq Perez burns down the Victoria Islamic Center in Victoria, Texas.
Feburary 16th, 2017: White supremacist Benjamin McDowell is arrested plotting to kill ethnic and religious minorities (in particular Muslim and Jewish people), citing Dylann Roof as inspiration.
Feburary 22nd, 2017: Adam Purinton is arrested in Clinton, Missouri killing two men in a bar from India. Before opening fire, he shouted at them to “get out of my country.”
March 20th, 2017: James Harris Jackson is arrested for stabbing Timothy Caughman (a black man) to death. He claimed it was a practice run to kill other black people to prevent “race mixing.”
May 20th, 2017: Sean Urbanski stabs visiting black student Richard Collins III at the Universtiy of Maryland. Online, Urbanski had a connection to a Facebook page called “Alt-Reich: Nation.”
May 26th, 2017: After harassing two young black girls (one of whom was Muslim), Jeremy Joseph Christian stabs three people who intervened in their defense, killing two. When he first appeared in court, he ranted: “Death to the enemies of America. Leave this country if you hate our freedom. Death to antifa. You call it terrorism, I call it patriotism. You hear me? Die.”
August 12th, 2017: James Alex Fields, member of the fascist organization Vanguard America, plows his car into a crowd of counterprotestors at the Unite the Right rally, killing Heather Heyer and injuring 19 other people.
October 22nd, 2017: Taylor Michael Wilson, a member of the National Socialist Movement, is arrested after pulling the emergency breaks on an Amtrak train in Nebraska and attempting to murder black passaengers. Like Fields, he attended the Unite the Right rally.
December 4th, 2017: Bernandino Gawala Bolatete plans an attack at the Islamic Center of Northeast Florida. He’s arrested after purchasing a gun silencer from an undercover cop.
December 17th, 2017: William Atchison, a former student of Aztec High School in New Mexico, returned to commit a school shooting. He killed two students before killing himself. Online, he was a violent white supremacist who frequented alt-right websites.
December 27th, 2017: a Nazi sympathizer named Nicholas Gimpa kills his ex-girlfriend’s parents before attempting suicide.
January 2, 2018: Samuel Woodward, member of the far-right terrorist group Atomwaffen, killed a former gay Jewish classmate named Blaze Bernstein.
February 14th, 2018: After being expelled, Nikolas Cruz returns to Majority Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Floridia; killing 17 people and wounding 17 more. Swastikas were carved into the magazines of his rifle, and he expressed far-right and reactionary views online.
April 19th, 2018: Nicholas Rose is arrested after issuing threats to Jewish neighbors in Orange County, California. Cops found ammo, antisemitic literature, and a kill-list of Jewish people in his community.
May 5th, 2018: Dustin Allen Hughes is arrested for leaving several violent voicemails at the Jamaat ul Muttaqeen mosque in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Among them include a threat stating “I planted a bomb in your temple, I’m gonna blow your fucking temple up you fucking Muslim.”
July 14th, 2018: Ronald Lee Kidwell is arrested for klling Meshon Cooper, a black woman in Shawnee, Kansas. Kidwell was a member of both the Ku Klux Klan and the Aryan Nations, and a picture of the murderer shows him wearing a Confederate flag and with a tattoo of a swastika on his arm.
October 27th, 2018: Robert Bowers attacks the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, murdering 11 Jewish people. He was a member of Gab, a far-right social network website, where he reposted anti-semitic content. He also criticized and reposted criticisms of Trump a number of times for being “controlled opposition” and not being far enough to the right.

There are people in the notes saying this isn’t a gassing and it’s “just” a disinfectan0 being sprayed on surfaces to avoid covid, and people are “just” having allergic reactions to it

It’s not just allergic reactions. That’s a severe misunderstanding of what disinfectants do and a refusal to acknowledge how serious this is and WHY people are freaking out.
No, they’re not literally being gassed in the grandiose (gore-iose?) way you’d think of - being shoved into an iron chamber like animals that then is filled with gas that melts their skin… But they are still being forced to into small areas with harmful fumes and surfaces covered in chemicals that are made to eat living matter.
We need to do more than sign a petition. Don’t shut up about this.

If you had to be in a room for days and weeks with bleach or peroxide all over everything, you don’t need to be allergic to start having severe reactions. Cleaning chemicals say to use protective gear and ventilate the area for a REASON.
This is really not okay. It wasn’t okay before, and now it’s worse than it was.
I work as a university custodian. This is the chemical we’re using to sanitize surfaces we’ve cleaned due to coronavirus. We’re not supposed to spray it directly on any surfaces. We spray it onto a cloth and then wipe surfaces with it. It’s supposed to dry before people come into contact with those surfaces. Once it dries on water fountains it’s rinsed off (I don’t know if it actually does anything to rinse it off when it’s already dried but that’s the procedure - we have to let it dry to make sure it’s had enough time to kill virus particles). That’s in university buildings with extra ventilation that are sanitized twice a day. This is horrifying.
