“People always ask me how I can be friends with my ex’s and I tell them I can because I no longer love them like that but when in reality I don’t know how to let go of the ones I love.”

-Day 580

nightlyquotes:

“It’s sad isn’t it? I once thought worlds of you and now you’re just another lesson.”

Beau Taplin, The Lesson

Hey you. Yes, you. Stop being unhappy with yourself. You are perfect. Stop wishing you looked like someone else or wishing people liked you as much as they like someone else. Stop trying to get attention from those who hurt you. Stop hating your body, your face, your personality, your quirks…love them. Without those things you wouldn’t be you and why would you want to be anyone else? Be confident with who you are. Smile, it’ll draw people in. My happiness will not depend on others anymore. I’m happy because I love who I am. I love my flaws. I love my imperfections They make me, me and I’m pretty amazing.
.
.
Just a little note for each of you out there! Read those words to yourself and then repeat it until you believe it. Learn to truly love yourself…everything about yourself. It isn’t easy and is something I honestly struggle with a lot but there is so much power in letting go of your self hate. Lift yourself up because you are worthy, because you are beautiful, because you are perfectly imperfect and have more value than you could ever realize.

thebrokenquotes:

“You can never visit the same place twice. Each time, it’s a different story. By the very act of coming back, you wipe out what came before.”

The Last Little Blue Envelope by Maureen Johnson

thebrokenquotes:

“You’re always you, and that don’t change, and you’re always changing, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Neil Gaiman, The Graveyard Book

This is a poem I wrote a few months ago for my creative writing class. I’m working on my mental health and I’m trying to better it. It’s hard though.

Anyways tell me what you guys think :/

LONE

Inspired by the song, Snow by XXXTentacion

The world is in black and white

My own brain is against me in a fight

I think too much and it ruins me

I’m looking for any chance to flee

What’s the point in living if you’re already dead

I couldn’t wait to grow up but now I feel so misled

I’m scared to face the problem so I run away

Weight on my shoulders while my heart decays

The only friend I have is the reaper himself

My life is deteriorating along with my mental health

The thought of happiness scares me, beyond and above

I use people with the intention of feeling loved

It never works, I end it, I tell them they did nothing wrong

I feel so sorry that I stringed them along

They become hurt and angry, I know it’s my fault

I always make sure that I’m locked in a vault

I surround myself with strong walls

Walking through life while I stumble and fall

I will always be alone and that will never change

For I am a lone wolf, venturing the cold mountain range.

perfectquote:

“Some won’t appreciate you no matter how much you do for them. Release yourself. Go where you’re appreciated and understood.”

Robert Tew

Know what gives you pleasure. Don’t be shy of it, don’t be scared to guide your partner, show them the way to the ultimate goal❤️‍

It can be hard sometimes, but it will be worth it

Show them where to touch, lick, stare and suck. Show them your most vulnerable, yet powerful spots, show them you weaknesses and strength, show them how to love you.

And love them back. Respect them, listen to them and give back the pleasure you just got.

Remember: you are at your most powerful, when you’re together. Those feelings are what makes you so strong. Hold on to that.

surqrised:

“Don’t forget - no one else sees the world the way you do, so no one else can tell the stories that you have to tell.”

Charles de Lint, The Blue Girl
