By the way, I’ll be taking sigil requests all this week (through Friday, August 28th) as I practice some new techniques. DO NOT submit your requests as comments. Instead, message me directly, and include the phrase “Sweet Airbrushed Van Art” in that message. Try to keep your sigil requests short and simple, with no more than one specific desire of 5 to 7 words. Sigil request that could be useful to a broad group of people will be given priority over super-specific ones, and otherwise it’ll be first come, first served.
Even in the best of times, connecting with other people can be difficult. That first electric spark of a true romance is something that many people will only experience a few times during their lives. Even that deep relief and joy that comes when you meet someone who just “gets” you a rarity. If your desire is to expand your world through new relationships, it’s often surprisingly hard to even know where to start.
This sigil is intended to help you focus that connection-making intent, be it romantic love, platonic love, or simply a real connection with others.
Simply being alive is expensive. Even the basic stuff of food and shelter has been made costly, as the greedy seek to squeeze every drop of money out of those least able to afford it. As a result, most people simply don’t have the ability to save up even a small fund for times of crisis.
Here is a sigil for money earned, money saved, and money protected from the endless grasping and greedy claws of the world.
Given the state of the global economy, having enough money on hand for the essentials of life is likely to be a true struggle for millions of people. It’s a stressful reality, impacting even the hardest working among us. There’s nothing immoral or selfish about wanting to have enough money to live your life. The purpose of a sigil, after all, is to turn an abstract or unspoken desire into something more tangible. It doesn’t matter if we’re talking about private-island money, or pay-the-rent money. Ultimately, it’s speaking to that deep, essential need for the security that money provides.
Here’s a sigil for money that flows right to you. Use it well.

Have a stone, preferably a small and smooth stone you can keep in your pocket or something. Take this sigil and burn it, have the stone rest in the ashes of the sigil overnight.
Keep the stone with you and rub it to banish your insecure thoughts

in an effort to make green witchcraft and herbal magick more accessible, i have created small illustrated booklets explaining the basics of the folklore, magick, and rituals associated with a few essential witchcraft herbs: mugwort, yarrow, and st. john’s wort!
each book lists a summary of the historical use of the herb, as well as its legends and folktales. a recipe, spell and charm how-to are all included in the book, as well as a packet of the herb itself.
I rarely use this method myself, but I know people are always looking for tutorials on different methods of sigil making and not finding any. I’ve had a few different people asking for more graph based sigil making techniques, and this is a fairly well known one that fits that category. I hope this tutorial is coherent and answers questions instead of making things more confusing. If you have any questions, however, never be afraid to ask.
Doors, door handles, the top of door frames etc. Most effective with guardians and the like.
Hung or tied on gates. Make a warning sign with a sigil or knot magic with ribbons.
Any entrances or exits, including ventilation, drains, holes of any kinds etc.
On window sills. These will catch light - make use of this!
Under lamps and on lampshades.
On shelves and hearths.
In pockets, in wallets, sewn onto clothing. If they are close to you, they will absorb body heat, many in witchcraft charge stones and the like with their own energy, so be wary of this if you have little energy yourself.
On animal collars! As they travel about, they carry protection.
On top of the loo, the sink or tied to the tap or on the shower-head. Be aware that the bathroom is not the cleanest of places and that water can do some damage to things like metals and stones.
Medicine cabinets and cupboards, protecting your medication and food is wise idea, it might be best to avoid strong smells with herbs and spices as this can be absorbed by some food.
The four legs or posts of a bed, I hang charm-bags alternating between sweet smells to help sleep and strong smells to ward things away. Half the battle of warding is feeling secure yourself!
Under your pillow or sewn into a blanket; a blanket or duvet can be a ward itself - as everyone knows, you pull your blanket over yourself as protection as a kid, we use blankets to shield from the cold and the feeling of a blanket weight’s makes you feel secure!
Your computer monitor or laptop, place something on it while it is off.
Bookmarks and bookends can acts as wards, especially in stories that can affect you psychologically it is a good idea to ensure that scenes and images won’t haunt you in your thoughts and dreams.
