My love for chocolate is raw and unrefined ❤️
Here is ze recipe for these beautiful salted caramel bars
Ingredients
1 cup ground almonds
1 cup and 60 g softened dates (soaked overnight
1/3 cup and 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
4 tbsp coconut milk
½ cup cashews (soaked 2-4 hours)
½ cup and 1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
Salt
Loving Earth chocolate of choice
Biscuit base: Blend the ground almonds, 60g pitted dates, 2 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp maple syrup, coconut milk and a pinch of salt. Press into a baking pan lined with parchment paper and leave in the freezer while preparing the caramel layer.
Caramel layer: Blend the rest of the softened dates, maple syrup, coconut oil, cashews, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Spread this layer on top of the base and set in the freezer overnight or until solid.Cut the set mixture into desired shapes and coat in @loving_earth ❤️)
