#adhd problems

LIVE

Today was fine until I had two meltdowns and a seizure all because I can’t find a top that I really like and want to take to Scotland with me

That adhd feel when you’re all packed up and prepared to go study, you’re pumped and ready to take on the challenge, then you sit down to do one (1) thing right before you leave and the mass amount of energy you had just completely disappears and you suddenly feel kinda sick and ready to curl up in a ball and die

adhdpie:

  • my period is probably getting close but I don’t remember when I last had it so i can’t count days to figure it out
  • forgetting to bring painkillers with you
  • forgetting to bring tampons/pads with you
  • remembering pads/tampons/cups/painkillers but at the wrong time so now you’re at school/work and they’re in a little pile at the end of your bed, mocking you from afar
  • forgetting to bring these things but finding out you still have both at the bottom of your bag because you forgot to take them out after your last period
  • ‘did i put in a tampon?’
    • ‘did i take out that tampon?’ (D:!!!) (this is super dangerous if you have this problem like I do make sure you c h e c k)
  • when you really need painkillers but your hyperfocus or executive dysfunction has locked you in place and you can’t stop doing what you’re doing long enough to take some meds so you just feel the pain but do nothing to stop it
  • is this pms or rsd or the dreaded combination of B O T H
  • i am on my full dosage of meds why do i feel exactly zero difference

vantasticmess:

soooooo i was thinking that maybe the reason they changed add/adhd to adhd-pi/adhd/adhd-c is because it’s easier to google ‘adhd-pi’ than it is to google ‘add’

i mean

i’m just saying

soooooo i was thinking that maybe the reason they changed add/adhd to adhd-pi/adhd/adhd-c is because it’s easier to google ‘adhd-pi’ than it is to google ‘add’

Blogpost ideas

So as I have some free time rn, I’d like to write something again that is not the caption of a gif. But only if you really want to read that stuff. So, here are some ideas, tell me if you would be interested in one of them.

A blog post about:

  • My personal experiences with ADHD meds (methylphenidate aka. “Ritalin”)
  • ADHD and panic attacks/anxiety symptoms (‘cause in the past I struggled with that stuff a lot)
  • ADHD and the menstrual cycle/hormones (they correlate a lot more than you’d think)
  • ADHD study tips/methods that worked at least somehow for me

Who else’s inner voice feels like an undisciplined child that goes on and on about the same things that upsets it and you constantly have to scold to shut upandcalm down, but won’t listen and will keep doing what it wants so you give up…

3 hours after taking 15 mg of Ritalin and 18 mg of Concerta and feeling like I want to stare at a wall and do nothing. I thought it supposed to make me more focused to carry out my work duties, not put me to bed!

Neurotypicals: Everybody has a bit of ADHD :)

Actual ADHDers: bitch stfu; does your brain also play random music pieces ON REPEAT literally from the moment you wake up till the moment you go to bed?? cause I’d like NOT to have that

adhd culture is trying to do some work and then one minute into the work you go on an hour long distraction spiral and don’t realise time went by once it’s over
