#cluster b personality disorder

LIVE

gimme attention!!! wtf why isn’t anyone paying attention to me!! i’m an attention whore!!! i need it to live!!!! give me the attention i so rightfully deserve!!

sorry for the lack of actually useful posts. i’ve been out of brain juice. there is nothing sloshing around in my head except brain, idk probably a lost sock from the washing machine, a couple moths, & spiderwebs. i have had No Thoughts and that is okay!

no matter what your stance is on the depp v heard trial, no matter what you think of the verdict, no matter what you think about them as individuals- there is absolutely no excuse for ableism.

i don’t care what side you’re on. you don’t get to demonise cluster b disorders just because some shrink said amber heard has traits of hpd and bpd. you don’t get to demonise cluster b disorders just because you think johnny depp was lying and amber is the real victim.

npd does not mean abusive

aspd does not mean abusive

bpd does not mean abusive

hpd does not mean abusive

Someone on reddit was asking if anyone else with borderline personality disorder sometimes liked the fact that they had it because of a certain mood they felt or whatever. Someone said yes and gave an example and some said no.

The only thing I like about me having this disorder is when I feel completely numb and unexpressive towards a lot of things/people. Im not really sad, my whole brain is just in a “i dont give a fuck” attitude and I tend to isolate myself from others and my own life for a while. It feels like a small break from all the mood swings and it’s easier to live life for a bit. It can make me feel somewhat happy, not caring about so much, and just living life while blasting alt metal/rock in my ears to drown everything else out and be consumed in only one thing that can’t hurt me. It’s a break away from myself. (& yeah the dissociation from myself can play a huge part in it) however, my empathy is lowered towards others.

@prairie-boy

np! I actually think its especially true for ppl with bpd because animals can provide such a stable source of love and affection and like, if u bond properly with one it will trust and love u in a way it doesn’t other people which can be really comforting and helpful for ppl with bpd specifically

pretty much all the borderlines I know are very big animal people and care a lot about not just their own pets but other animals and animal welfare and care in general

which makes sense when u break down symptoms and needs and stuff but I just find that really interesting
