These are the Tanssija!
They are sentient and quite religious. They wear jewelry and masks based on their occupations (for example hunters wear a certain type of masks, priests wear another type of masks etc.)
They’re skilled hunters, thin and graceful, fast and quite strong, although most of their strength comes from their large numbers. They would be pretty friendly and accepting, they’re welcoming to all peaceful travellers since their religion promotes love and peace.
Their brains are very developed, with their limbic system either increased in size or altered which grants them telepathy.
They’re found on all kinds of terrain, but they prefer a warm climate. Jungles, plains and savannas are their favorites. Due to sharing territory with the Thebrus (will post about them too), run-ins with the beasts were inevitable but the Tanssija managed to tame and even domesticate some of them.

I love finally getting to create a solid design for my HTTYD species called Demon Eaters. They earned their names from old tales of dragons who ate demons to gain their powers. They’re known to petrify anyone just by looking at them. Next I’ll be working on what her saddle would look like and a size comparison. I love how she turned out.

here are some of my early concept sketches for indigo (ft. a very old and very out-of-date clem)! her jacket was originally going to be more detailed, but it felt too busy, so i scrapped that. fun fact: she used to have glasses!

I’m in the mood to experiment a bit with traditional paint instead of my trusted digital painting method. This is a partial sketch for a painting I’m planning. I feel I do way more prepping for my traditional work, which makes the actual painting go faster. ⠀

On the top image, I sketched out scenes from a dream that came to me. I picked out a scene that I felt was interesting and fun to draw. I then decided to sketch it digitally and came up with the bottom image. My dream series is just things from my dreams. I try to draw or write down what happens, possibly for an art piece later down the road.
Some concept sketches I sketched up with pen. I haven’t decided if I want to incorporate them or just work on the left side strictly.

I started playing retail WoW a few weeks ago again and I’ve been casually leveling a Balance druid. I love her, but none of the in-game hairstyles work with her, so I decided to sketch some. I think I like 3 the best, even though it screams “Elsa”, but I don’t know. Maybe I’ll do more.
