Summary: The last thing Wanda thought before dusting away was how the love of her life was ripped away from her, right in front of her. The truth just couldn’t be more wrong.

Pairing:Wanda Maximoff x fem!reader

Trigger Warning:  Death, cursing, angst, fluff at the end

Part two

Wanda had never really thought about death before her family was ripped away from her. After Pietro’s death, dying had been something that was almost normal to the witch, sadly. She didn’t fear it nor did she really care about it. Every mission she went to she went with a mindset of “I’ll probably die or not, let’s see”. She didn’t think less of herself, she knew the abilities she had. But she did think less of death. She didn’t fear it in any shape or form.

Then you came into the plans and Wanda was whipped immediately. The way you carried yourself, how you looked after everyone and kept everything together even in the toughest situations. She was so in love with you and your persona after knowing you for just a few weeks.

And you made her better in her opinion. You gave her a reason to actually live through the missions. Something to come home to. But it also made her fear again, not her own death but yours. It haunted her in her dreams, that someday you’d be ripped away from her like everyone else were. She dreaded it, even though you assured her it would be okay. That you’d always come back to her. And you did, even if there were some close calls, you always came back to her.

Then the battle at Wakanda happened.

You were fighting alongside Steve and Thor, using your trusted sword as your weapon. The grip you had on the familiar weapon that had served you for so many years was so tight your knuckles were white. One alien, another. You weren’t sure how long it had been like that. You just kept killing every alien that came across you, time to time helping someone else.. Your body was running on pure adrenaline, your muscles didn’t ache, your body didn’t tire. It was like you were in flow.

Slowly but surely you found yourself with the Avengers by the edge of the forest. The creeps ran down your back but you pushed the thought away. Slicing another alien you gave a cocky smirk to your girlfriend who just shook her head. It was amazing how gorgeous she still looked, even though her face was smeared with alien blood. You tore your gaze away and thrust your weapon into another alien.

Thanos came through the portal. You were one of the last men standing. Steve was down, Bruce was quite literally stuck in stone and Thor was only god knows where. You heard thunder somewhere in the distance. You did your best to stop the mad titan from getting the last stone, Vision. The grunts and cries that left your mouth hurt Wanda so deeply she would’ve rather fought Thanos himself.

“Wan- Ugh, Wanda,” Your shouts were strained and she turned to look at you. The tears were blinding her eyes, your salty waterfalls were already streaming down your cheeks. You looked at Vision knowingly, he knew it too. He nodded. You took another hit before slicing the mad titan to his arm, it barely made him wince.

Whatever it takes.

“Destroy it!”

She shook her head, tears running down her face. Vision was the closest thing she had after you. He was her friend, closest friend she had ever had beside her brother. And you hated that she had to do this, but she was more powerful than you. She was the only one ho could od this. Wanda felt like she was killing you by killing him. You screamed her to do it again and again until your throat was raw.

Thanos hit you square in the head basically and lifted your weak body from the ground by your neck.

“You’re weak, small… a pathetic little human,” his voice gnarled as he looked down at you. Your face started to go red, but it did not falter.

“I… am… not… giving up,” You looked at him with determination, your hands on his gigantic wrist and felt the sharp blade enter your stomach. He dropped you on the ground and the last thing you’d ever hear was the pained cries of your girlfriend, who was holding back the mad Titan, destroying the stone and watching the life slowly bleed out of you.

***

Wanda didn’t fear death, not if you were gone too. It was done, they had lost. Thanos snapped the gauntlet and a weird feeling filled the witch. She held your limp body on her lap, watching as the normally rosy cheeks were paling. Her gaze moved to the sky and she felt her feeling numbing. It wasn’t worth to fight anymore if you were gone now too. As life slowly moved away from her body, she could almost hear your laugh in the distance. Your voice filled her head, memories flashing by her eyes.

I’ll be with you soon…

But she wouldn’t.

The opposite actually.

The surgery was difficult, especially since half of the medication staff had disappeared in Wakanda. Really it was a miracle you even survived. Twice your heart flat lined but they got it back working. Natasha had been there the whole time, following as you were unconsciously fighting for your life, holding back tears every time the heart monitor made a flat sound.

Then they moved you to the HQ. Steve, Thor, Natasha, Rocket, Carol the whole team went to find Thanos and rewind the whole mess. It didn’t go the way they expected it to go through. It was impossible to bring everyone back. The stones were gone. You woke up while they were gone. To say you were panicking was an understatement. Half of the population was gone, the news was filled with sorrow and families looking for each other.

And now you were going to have to live without Wanda forever. It made you wish you would’ve actually died. It would have been less painful that way.

Five years. You didn’t speak with anyone about it, you woke up, trained, went outside and helped the less fortunate. Then got back home and went to sleep. Repeat, that over and over again for five years. The sword was in a trunk, buried deep under all of the books and letters there was. You hadn’t even cleaned it from the battle. You couldn’t see it. You couldn’t bear that. A couple of times you fell into a drinking spiral but there was always someone, usually Steve or Natasha to help you back onto your feet.

The miracle called Scott Lang felt too good to be real once he came. Five years, five fucking years, the slowest years of your life and now there was a man talking about time traveling. At first, it was too good to be true, it wasn’t… it couldn’t work. It would be nearly impossible. Nearly.

But you did it anyway.
And lost another member.

Then Bruce snapped and you waited. The HQ went silent, Clint’s phone rang and his wife spoke. The man broke into tears right then and there, that was the moment you knew… you knew she was back. Somewhere. One phone call away.
As you went to grab your phone the whole place blew up and the hell was loose. You were fortunate enough to not be completely buried by the building.

Somehow you had managed to find your trusted sword in the middle of all the mess, it still had the blood of the old aliens on it as you had not used it after the battle on Wakanda. You felt determination fill you and you gripped your weapon tightly in your hands as the portals around you and Steve appeared. Literal chills ran down our back and legs and you coudln’t wipe off a smirk from your face when the alien army in front of you watched gobsmacked. Your feet tingled, you couldn't stay still. You already wanted to face the titan and fulfill your promise to him.

“Avengers…” Steve breathed out. “Assemble”

And like that, you were fighting again. Left and right, fury filling you. The aliens were dropping dead by your feet faster than Thor could summon the hammer. It was rather scary, to be honest. The small teenaged boy Peter had to keep away from you in case you didn’t recognize him, not that you’d ever actually hurt your own team members. It was still quite intimidating how many aliens you made a pile of in just a couple of minutes. It reminded them why you were made an avenger in the first place.

It was when Thanos was walking towards the gauntlet you saw her again. And holy shit was she gorgeous. Not aged a day, unlike you who was five years older. Wanda’s eyes were red, literally like glowing and the familiar swirls Hydra had given her were dangerously big and glowing ever so brightly. Her voice was venomous as she spoke to the Mad Titan in anger and fury, chest heaving up and down.

“You took, everything from me.”

“I don’t even know who you are.”

“You will,” She said monotone and levitated upwards, her arms resting on either side of her. You followed as she kept punching the titan with all of her powers. Her whole body was glowing in a different way, you hadn’t ever seen her so… mad. She was dangerously angry. And you couldn’t help but applause her for it. It was kinda hot, to be honest.

When Thanos ordered the shooting you snapped out of your trance. Wanda was still holding him back, not caring if she was smashed to death. Once an energy ball hit her, missing her just by a foot she fell over on the ground, momentarily losing her hold on the mad titan. One of his soldiers took notice of the action and went to raise their sword, ready to plunge it into Wanda’s body.

“Not my fucking girlfriend you asshole,” You grumbled as you ran at the alien and made sure to shove your sword straight through its neck, the only weak spot in their armor. The alien tried to move, to do anything to get out of the pain but you just twisted the sword tighter, until the soldier fell onto the ground and left you there, breathless and a splash of odd colored blood on your chest, neck, and face.

Wanda’s knees buckled underneath her when she saw you. Her eyes returned into their respectful but not any less beautiful color you hadn’t seen in so long. She breathed out your name, so softly you couldn’t even hear it, you could only see her mouth your name like it was just the two of you in the comfort of your bed.

You took her into your arms and you sat on the ground, holding her head against your shoulder and her waist against yours. It was the best feeling you had felt in five years. Her scent you had on your old clothes now filled your nose and refreshed your memory. Her red hair tickled you face as you moved to kiss her.

“Not everything,” You mumbled against her lips and Wanda couldn’t do anything else than sob dryly. Her hands went to your face and she leaned her forehead against you.

She hadn’t lost everything. She hadn’t lost you.

Love Hurts

Part 1 / Part 2.

N/A: OMG, who would have thought that I would go back to writing and posting something here after years? If you are still here, congratulations, you are a warrior. Honestly I’ve been through a lot of bad times in the last few years and writing (which was my escape route) wasn’t enough anymore and that’s why I disappeared for so long. But I’m in therapy right now and trying to get back to my old hobbies. I lost a few followers in that time (which is understandable) and I don’t even know if people still read this kind of fanfic (with the reader inserted), I don’t even know how far this is going to go but hey! If I make one person happy with it, then I’m happy. Enjooy it and I’m sorry for the bad quality of writing (long time without writing).

“You look like trash” a voice cut through your painful moment of reflection in your bedroom. You looked up for a few seconds to see Natasha standing in the doorway.

“Excuse me, I’m taking a moment to release the tears I’ve held in for a week.” You threw up one hand and crumpled a pillow against your face with the other. You didn’t hear Natasha’s footsteps (she moved like a feather, frankly) but you felt her sitting on the edge of the bed and removing the pillow of your face

“I would like to give you some advice on broken hearts but I don’t have any”.

You snorted.

“Of course you don’t, you’re incapable of love” you teased her and the answer came in the form of Natasha choking you in a leg lock on the bed.

You gave her three pats on the arm giving up and the redhead let you go.

“You’re mean” a pout escaped your lips as Natasha smiled.

“What happened? Did you wait for Wanda to go on a mission to suffer in silence?”

“Yeah, I didn’t want to get away from her. She’s still my friend, she could tell when I’m not feeling well. Just my luck she went on a mission… alone… with Vision” you groaned again, rolling over on the bed, burying your face in the mattress.

"Weren’t you the one who kept muttering through the halls that you were going to get over it?” Natasha raised an eyebrow at you and you pushed her off the bed.

“And I will! It takes time, you cold Russian! It doesn’t help that I spend so much time with her”

Natasha again turned the tables on you, now sitting on your weeping ass on the bed.

“You can always order a few days at the Shield base. Daisy misses you” you moaned again. For someone with such light movements, Natasha was heavy.

“I can’t just run away. As I said, Wanda is my friend.”

"She’ll understand” Natasha shrugged, amused to see you trying to get out from under her.

“I don’t like to solve my problems by running away from them” you found a soft spot in the Russian, tickling her.

Natasha was caught off guard and rolled off you, nearly falling off the bed. You smiled victoriously.

“Well, who knows. She’ll be back in a day or two. I would try to fix your face” your pout returned, as you threw the pillow at her.

“Just because you’re beautiful and wonderful all the time, doesn’t mean all the lowly mortals like us are.”

You just heard her laugh as she left the room.

You stared at the ceiling and sighed. Wanda would be back. She had started dating Vision. Bumping into the couple at the avengers compound the whole time was harrowing and painful but you would get over it.

You always get over it.

So ok, maybe it wasn’t that simple to get over like that. Wanda and Vision came back from the mission closer and more ‘in love’ than ever and it didn’t help that you were Wanda’s #1 confidant, so of course she reached out to you to tell you all about it. About how they did on their mission and how they used the remaining time to see some sights and eat at fancy and expensive restaurants.

Your head was spinning from 'Vision was this and Vision was that’ so much, it was almost as if he had reverted back to being a computer system again and hacked into your brain.

It was making you nauseous.

So ok, maybe Natasha was right.

Maybe you needed time away from Wanda and reset some thoughts and lock some feelings into others.

So a week after the new couple returned from the compound, you called Daisy and asked her to find something for you. Something that looked believable, a direct request from Coulson and not an excuse you needed to get out of there quickly.

“Wait, when did that happen?” Wanda asked sitting on your bed, hugging a pillow. She was wearing your sweatshirt but you pretended not to notice.

“Coulson called Fury who called Natasha, who came to kick my ass saying they need me at the playground” you commented casually as you packed your suitcase. Wanda pouted a little.

“Do you really have to go?” she lay down on the bed, giving you a lost puppy look.

You closed your suitcase, feeling the blood rushing through your veins and adrenaline so high just at the mere sight of her in your bed.

And that just made you more sure you needed to go.

“Yeah, you know, I’m one of a kind” you joked as you sat down next to her. “And you still have Vision” you were so proud of yourself just saying his name with no disgust in your tone.

“It’s not the same” Wanda muttered “You’re my friend, I’ll miss you”.

You know. You would miss her too.

“I’ll be back before you know it” you got up and pushed your suitcase towards the door, a jet was already waiting for you at the helipad. “And who knows, I might get a girlfriend so we can go on double dates and stuff” you commented, just to see if it would get any reaction out of her but Wanda just threw the pillow on you holding an amused smile.

And okay, it hurt like hell. She gave you a tight hug and you held her for as long as you were allowed until Natasha appeared at the door beckoning you to go.

“I will keep in touch”

“You better do”

Love Hurts

N/A: I’M BACK. With nothing better than a slight anguish to start our day. Don’t kill me, I’m already writing part 2.

Hello, if you are new here, welcome! you may be wondering some things, I usually don’t use the “y / n” to refer to the reader. I use the name Ang or Angel. You know, as a neutral name. You get used to it. If you liked it, leave your heart and share.

___________________________________________________________

Honestly, you weren’t expecting it. Be a new member of the avengers so young. You felt a little displaced. Mainly because you came at a time of tension between the older members. They all looked so serious, the tension in the room was always so overwhelming.

So it should come as no surprise when you gravitated directly to Wanda. She was the only one closest to your age and the only one who seemed to be bothered by the tension as much as you.

You quickly became close. And between intensive avenger training and girls’ night out in your little spare time, you became great friends.

The problem was… Wanda was becoming more than just a good friend to you.

The cold sweat that ran down your hands, your heart pounding and your stomach turning every time you saw her. Every damn time she smiled. It couldn’t just be friendly feelings.

You were falling for her.

And well, you’ve never been hiding your feelings, no matter how scary they were. You was ready to tell her.

But then came Vision, and Wanda seemed closer and closer to him. You didn’t want that to scare you, so you decided to try your luck.

“Hey, Wanda..” you knocked twice on the brunette’s bedroom door. Wanda turned to you and smiled.

“Hey Ang. Come in” You took a deep breath, ordering your legs to move as you entered the room. Your courage is slowly fading.

But then wanda smiled at you, a little crease on her forehead in your weird way today and all the nervousness seemed to fade for a few seconds. You shook your hands as if to ward off chills in your stomach and sat on the edge of the other woman’s bed.

Wanda studied you quietly, seemed to read your thoughts (but you knew she wasn’t really reading them. Wanda respected your privacy).

“It’s just that I have something important to tell you but… I’m really scared right now”

Wanda narrowed her eyes and held your hands in hers.

“Hey, no matter what you can tell me. You know that, right?” She was serious as she spoke and you knew it. Wanda would do anything for you, just as you would do for her.

“Yeah..I know. It’s not that simple, though… I’m afraid it will change something between us”

Wanda snorted and clutched your chin with her free hand.

“Nothing you do will change anything between us. Even if you kill a person, I would help you hide the body if that were the case.” This served to take a laugh out of you, breaking the tension a little. Wanda looked pleased to have made you laugh.

“Okay” You took a deep breath and decided to drop the bomb all at once “We’ve known each other for a while and you’re my best friend but I’ve been developing stronger feelings than just friendship about you” you said all looking at a lint loose in bed. “I’m really… really in love with you” this time you looked up to meet hers. Wanda looked frozen and your heart missed a few beats for it.

Then you would do the only thing that was good. Break the ice.

You laughed blandly and scratched the back of your neck

“It's… sorry to throw it like that at you. I know… that you’ve been seeing Vision lately…”

Wanda seemed to come out of her stupor and winked at you.

“Ang” by her tone of voice you knew.

You just knew she didn’t feel the same

“Well, you know me!” You smiled, not a happy smile but deceiving. “You know I couldn’t miss the chance to tell you and it’s okay, love. We can still be friends, right?” Wanda sighed and hugged you tightly.

You returned the hug to the same intensity, holding back the tears for later.

It was all right, really.

Loves come and go. Some more painful than others.

You would still have Wanda in your life.

Just not the way you wanted.

There’s a part 2, I just haven’t posted it yet. I’ll take a look at my files, I’m pretty sure I had started

MASTERLIST

So, since it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, I knew now that my masterlist wasn’t working. And since I changed the name of the blog, it was kind of expected (if you got here when it was all bush and desert, you’re a veteran and I love you as part of my family).

So I basically had to relearn how to update my blog again and update my masterlist and link to every fanfic ever posted, because apparently tumblr doesn’t do this job alone.

So here they are. Duly updated and functional. I have a separate list for Diana Prince because at the time I got a lot of requests for her, so..

Masterlist Diana Prince x reader

Masterlist

I also intend to update the fanfics and change the name of the reader (yes, I use a name, because Y/N hits a visual nerve of mine, besides not being practical for people who use screen reader). At the time I chose the name Angel, it had to do with the blog name and because, you know, angels are neutral and have no gender or race and I thought that way I would be including everyone and not offending anyone. However, Angel seems to be a common name in the US (in my country it’s used as a pet/nick name, like ‘honey’). I’m probably going to use a name making it up (like Atara) and I don’t know, you guys can make a petition too, I don’t know. Let me know what to do to make you happy.

Wanda: *Feeling sad*

Y/N: *Trying to cheer Wanda up* I brought you some food!

Y/N: Cheese. It’s milk that you chew.

Y/N: Crackers. Because your cheese needs a buddy.

Y/N:A grape. Because who can get a watermelon in your mouth.

Wanda: *Starts to smile and giggles* Thank you.

Y/N: Pfft, don’t thank me.

Wanda: Can you sit with me?

Y/N: *Literally melting from Wanda’s cuteness* Yes!*Clears throat* I mean yes, I would love to.

Wanda: *Cuddles up to Y/N*

Y/N: *Screaming internally while smiling trying not to wake up Wanda*

You’d never given much thought to how you’d die. Well, sure, it was a vague and distant thought. Everyone dies, after all. You’re aware that life could come crashing into you, and it could be a horrific accident, but you were hoping for the old age route.

You were running.

You remember that much.

You had been terrified as you stumbled. You turned to look, and then everything turned white.

And now, you were falling.

The wind ripped through your hair, burning your eyes. You turned around to look up at the sky instead of the impending ground.

God, you were so high up, and you had no fucking parachute. No gear.

You felt around your body frantically, wanting to cry when you felt nothing until your hand grazed over a bump in your back pocket—a phone.

You took it out quickly but carefully. The last thing you needed was to accidentally drop the phone midair and have no way to get it. You fumbled to turn it on and noticed you only had 10% battery left and almost wanted to cry.

You recognized your own phone. It had been at 10% when you had been running as well.

Your thoughts were a mess.

Who do you call when you’re falling 50,000ft in the air?

911?

What could 911 do? Could they send a helicopter for someone to come get you with a parachute?

Would they make it in time?

But when you opened up your contacts, there was only one number.

No.

This couldn’t be.

But the name and number stared back at you.

It had to be a joke, right?

You didn’t recognize the number other than it being a New York area code.

Maybe it’s from being so high up in the air, the falling hindering how well you could breathe and get oxygen to your brain.

That was the only explanation you could think of for thinking—but what if it wasn’t a joke? What if it was real?

It was probably a mistake to call this number instead of 911, but—but if it was real, you’re chancing of being saved would be higher.

You pressed dial on the contact and put it to your ear, shocked you were even picking up reception.

Unless that meant you were getting closer to the ground.

“Hello?” The caller picked up, sounding cautious and confused. “How did you get this number?”

“Is—” You choked. The air was so hard to breathe, and you wondered if your lungs were collapsing. It was so hard to hear on top of that too. Were you going deaf?

“Is this Tony Stark?” You barely managed to get out the words as you heaved for air that didn’t seem to be making it to your lungs.

“Yes…who is this?"

You could hear some noise in the background and wondered briefly what he was doing.

"Please help me,” you choked. “I’m falling.”

There was snort on the other line. “That’s a horrible pick-up line and also really bad background noise. Listen, I don’t know if you’re some crazy stalker but—”

“No, seriously, Mr. Stark. I’m literally falling from 50,000ft in the air, and I don’t have a parachute, and I will become splattered brain matter if you don’t help me,” you started coughing violently as you finished your words.

There was silence on the other end of the line before you could hear—

“FRIDAY, scan the surrounding area and trace the closest cell tower to her phone.”

“Detected body 50 feet from you. Too far to scan vitals.”

“Maximize jet boots and repulsors. Hold on, kid. I’m coming for you.”

But you couldn’t hear anything at that point. The oxygen deprivation was getting to your head as you fought to stay awake.

It feels like a million years but really, only seconds before you’re in someone’s arms.

“Easy there, I got you…alright, wow, you’re definitely not a kid.”

He’s flying down steadily for your sake. Slower but still quickly, so you don’t stay oxygen-deprived. As you descend, you suddenly feel something click over your head and a rush of oxygen floods in. You suck the air in greedily as you try to not hyperventilate.

Easy, easy. Breathe slowly.”

You tilted your head up and found an Iron Man Mask looking back at you and realized you’re wearing one yourself. He must’ve called for a spare helmet for you.

You try to do as he says and breathe slowly, and you begin to feel better even though the chill starts to set in.

“Where…are….you…taking…me?” You speak slowly, your voice raw and weak.

“Back to the Avengers’ Compound. We have a medi-bay there that’s way better than any other hospital in the state. Plus, I’ve got questions.”

You don’t have the energy to argue against it, and you’re unsure if you would. Even though Tony Stark didn’t know you, you knew him. He was the only thing you knew in this strange universe you’ve found yourself in.

You look down at your hands and find they’re still yours, at least. You’re still you.

Just.

Maybe the You of this universe.

⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷⋆⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷

You slowly woke up to a quiet beeping noise. The lights were somewhat bleary and blinded you. You had a massive headache, and when you looked down to find an IV hooked up to you, you felt your heart jump.

You could feel a nasal cannula on your face, and you tried to think about why you’d have one.

Falling.

You had been falling.

You couldn’t breathe.

You were trying to fight the rising panic in your limbs and throat. Your heart was racing and thudding almost painfully in your chest.

“Whoa, easy there, tiger.”

You snapped your head to the side and found Tony Stark coming through the door with two cups. You could smell coffee.

“FRIDAY alerted me you had woken up. How are you feeling?”

You stared at him, tracing his movements carefully as he came to sit down beside you in the chair. He holds the water out to you, but you don’t take it, so he then pulls over a tray in front of you and places your cup there.

You peer down and see that yours was filled with water while his cup was coffee.

You take the cup, sipping on the cool water, wincing lightly as it does down your dry throat.

“Okay…tired,” you eventually replied as you looked around.

“You’re at the Avenger’s Compound,” Tony said as he looked at your curious face, and you recalled that’s where he said when he was flying you to safety.

“You were really lucky I was out and about flying to get fresh air,” Tony said steadily, his eyes narrowed in suspicion at you. “How did you get my number? That’s my private and personal number. Only a few people have it. I’ve only just given it to Capsicle.”

You stare at him.

“Ugh, Captain America? America’s golden boy? Steve Rog—”

“I know,” you whisper, fidgeting with your cup.

“You know…” Tony repeated after you with a brow raised. “Do you know all of the Avengers?”

“Doesn’t everyone?” You reply with a half-hearted smile.

Tony narrowed his eyes at you, filled with suspicion and clearly saying he didn’t appreciate you avoiding his question. You couldn’t blame him. If this was the Avengers’ Compound, you had some idea of where you were in the timeline.

You looked at Tony’s face and how weary and tired he looked. The facilities looked new, so you could only guess this was right after the battle of Sokovia.

The thought made you rather sad as you looked back down. This meant that things were leading up to the Civil War, and you weren’t sure how you felt about that.

You weren’t sure how you felt about anything.

Your thoughts kept racing.

How did you get here?

How was this real?

Had you actually died?

How do you get back home?

Did you even want to go back home?

People were chasing you there.

Were you safe?

You looked back at Tony.

You were safe, you decided. For now, at least.

“I…don’t belong here,” you say quietly but still loud enough for Tony to hear.

“Don’t belong here…” Tony cocked his brow. “Here like this medical bay…or in New York or…”

“Here, like this universe,” you whispered, grimacing at how stupid it sounded, but you’re unsure why when someone like Dr. Strange existed. He would understand.

Tony actually laughed.

“Wow, maybe this isn’t pumping enough oxygen to your brain still,” Tony looked ready to adjust your machine when you glared at him.

“Is that so hard to believe when you’ve fought aliens? You don’t even know—” you immediately snapped your mouth shut as you huffed.

You don’t know the laws of the universe and time travel. How good could it be to reveal what was coming to someone like Tony, who was experiencing PTSD, paranoia, and guilt?

“Are you an alien then?” Tony asked slowly, eyeing you up and down to access you. You looked so human, though.

“No,” you said, though it sounded very uncertain. “No,” you repeated this time with more confidence. You weren’t an alien. You were a human that experienced too much.

Perhaps you and Tony weren’t too different.

“Can I get your name now?” Tony asked, changing the subject, but not really. You knew he was asking to see if he could pull up anything on you.

But you tell him anyway. You were curious about yourself as well.

“I’m Tony, but I think you knew that,” Tony throws out there, but he’s not smiling.

“You mean the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist…?” You say and give a small smile when Tony’s lip twitches as he holds back a grin himself. But then he frowns as he wonders where you’ve heard him say that.

Suddenly, something beeped, making you jump slightly, spilling some of the water.

Tony just eyes you briefly before he checks his phone.

“The rest of them are here.”

“The rest of them?"

"The Avengers.”

You pale noticeably that it has Tony looking slightly alarmed.

“What’s wrong?” He asks, but you just shake your head.

You find it hard to swallow again, but people are bustling in to your room before you can even ask him to maybe save the introductions another day.

The faces bombard you before you even have a chance to turn away.

Steve, Natasha, Wanda, Vision, and Clint.

It’s Steve’s and Natasha’s faces that make you feel like you’re going to be sick.

You feel sick to your stomach because you know what happens.

And even if you had not experienced it personally, it didn’t mean you hadn’t come to love these characters—people in your own way.

You had loved them from a distance.

You had been immersed in their universe when you were on your own and even when you were surrounded by people.

So, to know what happens and see them, you were going to be sick.

You were still adjusting to Tony, and just barely.

It was too much.

It was too real.

The only thing you could think of was how painful and disappointing it had been to know what happened by just reading and watching. If it had been that painful, how would it be to actually experience it personally?

You gripped your blanket, trying to control your breathing as you looked away from them.

“Uh, Tony, is she okay?” Steve asked as he assessed you, but you wouldn’t turn to look his way.

Your heart monitor was spiking, and it was suddenly hard to breathe again.

Was this a panic attack? You thought about it distantly, trying to think about something else to calm yourself.

“Hey, hey,” Tony stood up as he looked at your monitor before you. “What’s wrong? What's—” Tony tried to put his hand on your shoulder, but you flinched.

“Get out,” you breathed, your chest rising and falling.

“What?” Tony said, but you couldn’t even look at him.

“GET OUT!” You screamed.

Natasha’s the one who pulls everyone out of the room and shuts the door as you close your eyes and try to think about something else and slow your breathing.

You have 10 fingers and 10 toes.

You can smell the coffee that Tony left behind.

You could see the little squiggly lines behind your eyelids.

You could taste your own mouth, which was gross, but it was better after the water.

You could feel the soft sheets under your fingers and wondered if it was because this was practically Tony’s private medi-bay that it was so luxurious.

Slowly, you began to calm down, the oxygen from the nasal cannula helped greatly, and you pressed your palm to your eye.

That was so embarrassing.

You were losing your shit over fictional people.

Except, they weren’t.

Not anymore, not in this universe.

You were feeling too much at once.

Scared.

Betrayed.

Upset.

Cautiously elated.

But mostly just anxious.

One step at a time, you told yourself. Figure out the situation now, and then think about what you will do after understanding what’s happening now.

You take a few more moments to collect yourself, preparing to see everyone again.

They were strangers.

They didn’t know you, and you didn’t know them. No amount of comics and movies could ever change the fact they were real people and have their own nuances you didn’t know about.

You press the help button at the side of your bed and wait patiently.

Tony is the one to stick his head back in first, cautiously.

You nodded at him, and he came through slowly, and you feel bad.

“I’m sorry,” you apologize, but Tony just shrugs, and you know he gets it.

“I can just tell everyone to go back if you just want to rest today. I’m afraid you can’t leave here until things are settled though,” Tony says, and you can tell he’s trying to be sympathetic about keeping you here, but you can tell he’s not.

You don’t mind.

Mostly because you have nowhere to go.

Or maybe you did but just didn’t know where it was?

“No, it’s fine,” you shook your head. “I’d rather get it over with now.”

“Are you sure about that?” Tony narrowed his eyes at you.

You nodded, and he relented.

“Alright,” he hummed. “ Meet the Avengers.”

The ride back was terse.

Peter followed behind your truck, Wanda sitting next to you with the machete still tight in her hand. Your own hands gripped the wheel tightly. You were afraid that you wouldn’t be able to let go.

The moment you twisted the key in the ignition, Wanda had turned to you and asked in a calm voice. “Do you know if he was followed?”

Immediately, your chest tightened. “No. I don’t.”

“Did you use secure channels?”

“Of course we did-”

“Did you change them every night?”

“I’m not stupid,” You snapped. It wasn’t Wanda who frustrated you, it was the uncertainty of being followed. You hadbeen safe, but there was always an element of unknown that could come back and bite you. “I knew what I was doing. Believe it or not I survived just fine before you came along.”

Wanda had sat back. “I’m just covering all the bases; no need to be so sensitive.”

“We were as careful as possible.”

“‘Careful as possible’ doesn’t ensure anything.” She responded coolly.

“Why do you care if you’re going to leave?”

That stung. You could feel the sting when the words hit Wanda.

Now you sat in silence, staring straight ahead, driving back home while simmering in subdued anger. The idea of welcoming another stranger into your house make your stomach flip. So much had changed over the past weeks, you were scared for the future. The good mood you had been in after looting the town. You thought about Wanda’s questions.

“Wanda,” you said quietly. “I get that’s you’re upset, but if I drive back to the farmhouse, someone could follow us and know our location. If we stop for the night, we could be ambushed, eaten by bears, or… or…”

“Hey, calm down.” Wanda said just as softly. “What are you asking me, Y/N?”

You swallowed. “What do I do, Wanda?”

“We go back to the farm.” She looked over, trying to reassure you. “Then we wait on alert for the next week. Just in case.”

“Just in case,” you agreed, pushing your doubt away. “I’m… sorry for all of this.”

She turned to you, and you could feel her eyes on you. When Wanda didn’t speak you kept going.

“I’m sorry about inviting a total stranger into the house, but… you don’t know what it was like when I was alone,” you said. “Day after day… there were times when I thought I was the only one left. That stupid radio was all I had for months, and when I found Queens, or, Peter, I cried. For the first time in years, I had a friend. Someone I could talk to without being afraid that they were going to kill me or hurt me.”

“You needed him,” Wanda whispered.

You nodded, gripping the wheel even tighter.

“I needed him. I still do.”

And I need you.

The thought punches its way through your mind, but you don’t let it get far.

Thirty minutes later, you pulled into the long driveway, mouth dry. Before you could cut the engine, Wanda rested her hand on yours.

“Y/N, if you said you were safe on the radio, you were safe. I’m not trying to scare you into worrying.” She said. “Don’t let it control you. This is still your house, so you make the decisions.”

She might as well have said don’t let the looming thought of being attacked in the night by a group New Alliance Hydras control you. It’s not like that constantly pervaded the edges of your thoughts every night before you slept and when you woke up.

Instead of saying that, you nodded, and turned off the engine.

“Peter,” you called to him as you jumped out of the truck. “Can you help us move these into the house?”

You were referring to the bags of food and supplies in the cargo bed. The three of you made multiple trips back and forth from the house to the truck. Feeling the weight of each bag helped soothe the knot of anxiety that coursed through you so aggressively.

Once finished transporting, you stood in the kitchen with Wanda and Peter.

You turned to the young man. Peter was older than you anticipated, with wavy brown hair that was slick with dirt. “You must be exhausted. Do you have any other bags?”

“No, just this.” He gestured to his single backpack, slung on his shoulder.

“I’ll show you to your room. There’s a bathroom for you to take a shower and freshen up.”

He looked so relieved, you smiled. “Thank you, North. Thank you so much. I can’t remember the last time I had running water.”

You sniffed.

“I have an idea.”

You saw Wanda rooting through the liquor cabinet as you stalked up the stairs. Once out of earshot, Peter spoke.

“Who is she?” He asked softly. He sounded curious, not confrontation.

There was hesitation that Peter detected. “Y/N, what is it?”

“Shewas a member of the New Alliance,” you said carefully. “But she defected.”

Peter noticeably tensed. “She was a Hydra?”

Hydra was a nickname created by the Protectors. All that time in the East really seasoned Peter’s vocabulary.

“Yeah.” There was no way to sugar coat it, but you didn’t want scare Peter off. “She was. I found her in the forest after she deserted and I… I stabbed her, it wasn’t bad!”

Peter’s eyes widened in complete surprise as you rushed to placate him.

“We worked it out! Don’t worry!” you said.

“Okay, okay,” he said, shaking his head in disbelief. “Glad to know my two roommates nearly killed each other.”

“Hey, I am not your roommate, I’m your landlord.”

You chose one of the bigger rooms for Peter, right next to yours and close to the bathroom. He nearly squealed in delight when he saw the double bed and massive windows.

“This is amazing!” he gushed, flopping down on the soft duvet before you tell him not to. “This bed is so big! And the lights really work! How did you find this place, Y/N?”

You wince. Now isn’t the time to bring that up.

“Get cleaned up and rest. I’ll make you something if you’re hungry.” You turn and left, calling out behind you.

“I’ll introduce you to Goat tomorrow!”

—-

“I’ve decided I like him.” Was the first thing Wanda says when you come downstairs.

“Oh yeah? Why?”

“Because he’s still a sweet kid despite everything.” She’s reclined on the couch in the living room, long hair tossed over one shoulder. “He must have seen some horrible things out there but he’s still smiling and laughing. He’s like a puppy.”

You laughed, but it’s more like a scoff.

“And here I thought I’d have to convince to you to let us keep him.” You went to the kitchen in search of bread for toast and some sort of canned fruit to add nutrition. “I’ve spoken to him long enough to know he’s a good kid, so we don’t have to worry about it.”

“I never said I was worried.”

“Yeah, you did.”

“When?”

“In the car, Wanda. Like, an hour ago.”

“I’m worried about the Militia, not this kid,” she corrected. “Jeez, Y/N, get it together.”

You turned and looked at her for a moment before rolling your eyes.

“This is what I get for taking in a stray.” You muttered, but Wanda clicked her tongue.

“I heard that.”

After you put together a simple toast with a side of fruit cocktail, you went to Wanda’s side, tentatively picking at the edge of her shirt to check her stitches. At this point, she didn’t even flinch or stare at you - instead, she raised her arm as you checked.

“Still needs time.” you said, letting go of the hem. “I hope all the excitement didn’t strain you too much.”

She rewarded your concern with a smile; a bright, full smile, and you hated the way your heart tripped.

“Nah, I’m a trooper. Nothing a little sleep or scotch won’t fix.” She hummed.

Trooper. Yeah. A trooper.

“Don’t drink tonight,” you hate how much you sounded like a mom, but it needed to be said. “Now that I’m all freaked out about potential safety breaches, I need you on your best.”

When you tried to leave, a hand caught your own and pulled you back.

“Hey, come on.” Wanda led you to the couch so that you could sit next to her, leaning into her unwounded side. “You can relax for a minute, right? Take a deep breath. Tonight was successful despite the grizzly bear.”

She was right - it had been a good night, what with all the food and supplies they found, and Peter’s arrival.

But something in you wouldn’t calm down; the conversation you had with Wanda in the car was still so present in your mind.

Why do you care if you’re going to leave?

You wish you could have snatched back those words. As irritating as Wanda was, the thought of the house being empty made your skin crawl. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad because Peter was there now, but even then, he might not stay, then what?

“I can hear you thinking, Y/N,” Wanda chided gently. You hadn’t even noticed that she was rubbing your arm to soothe you. “Whatever it is, let it go.”

“When are you going to leave?” You asked quietly.

her hand stopped.

“Huh?”

“I- nevermind. It’s nothing.”

“No, it’s something.” She looked at your face and for once, your could meet her eyes. “Why? Do you want me to go?”

“No,” you said quickly. “Actually, I… God, this sounds stupid, but I’d like you to stay as long as you’d like.”

The words tumbled out like water from a broken cup, but when they were out, your chest felt immediately lighter.

Wanda put the pieces together.

“You want me to stay?”

It sounded so emotional and lame when she said it “Well… yes. But don’t hold it over my head as if I’m begging you to stay!” You snapped, standing up abruptly. “I know you’ll get yourself killed out there, or at least stabbed again, so if anything I’m doing you a favour.”

Perhaps it was your sudden change in demeanor, or the idea of getting stabbed again, but Wanda let’s out a sharp, bright laugh. Her shoulders jumped and she threw her head back.

“Okay,” she agreed, grinning up at you from where she sat. “I’ll stay. How much is rent?”

“Will you help me with the farm?”

“Of course.”

You looked down at her, taking in the lean curves of her cheekbones and the tiny moles under her eyes. She was so beauti-

“Help me around the place,” you decided, smiling right back. “Then I’ll consider your rent paid.”

Wanda stood up at that, and before you could push her away, you feel two arms wrap around you. The closeness made you lose your breath for a second, before you registered warmth and the smell of honeysuckle in her hair from the soap you made.

You could feel a second heartbeat through her chest, and you knew that she could feel the steady thump of yours.

Putting your arms around Wanda felt right. Holding on tightly, letting her press into you felt good. When was the last time you held another person and let them do the same?

“Wanda,” you whispered. Perhaps it had been too long, but her arms felt like security - like the Militia wasn’t real. Maybe if she held you forever, you could pretend like the world was still spinning, and half the population wasn’t dead.

But in that moment of security, you felt something else.

Fear.

You remembered how the previous owner of this house had disappeared. How his family was gone too. Had they felt so scared to lose each other?

“Y/N,” she whispered back. “What is it?”

You squeezed tighter; a reminder that this was real.

“Don’t let me go. Not yet.”

So, Wanda held on.

“Wanda,” You said firmly. “No.”

“But, Y/N, I-”

“I said no.”

“How can you say no to me?” Wanda looked faux wounded. “How can you say no to his little face?”

She gestured to the massive blag dog that was at your door. Wanda stood in front of the hound, leash in hand. Looking frazzled and worn out, she had explained that Pietro was out of town for the weekend and needed a sitter for Missy (short for Missile Launcher). Wanda had volunteered but found it impossible to handle the dog alone. She turned to her extremely compassionate girlfriend for help but you said-

“No, I’m busy,” you still let her and Missy into your apartment.

The dog was a bit rambunctious; they raced around your home before finding a comfortable spot on the carpet and curling into a ball, looking up at you with big black eyes.

Wanda plopped down onto the couch, hand over her eyes. “She’s a beat, Y/N. Missy pulls me everywhere, never giving me a moment of rest! I need food! And water! And sleep!”

“You should have thought of that before you made your promise.” You said with a smirk.

Wanda glanced at you. “I dunno, I thought you might’ve wanted to help me?”

“You thought wrong.”

“Please?” She asked, hands clasped in front of her. “We can hang put all weekend? Sleep over? Please?

You tapped your lip, taking in the big doe eyes and wide smile. “UGH! Fine. You can stay over.”

Wanda cheered as Missy let out a mournful howl.

It was going to be along day.

****

The day was more relaxed than you expected.

While you sat at your dining table and typed on your laptop, Wanda sat crisscrossed on the carpet with Missy. She was trying to teach the dog tricks with a ball and clicker, pointing here and there while Missy tilted her head in confusion.

The whole scene made you smile.

Some time in the evening after Missy tired herself out, she meandered under the table and fell asleep. She was pretty old, but you had grown fond of her.

They’re so cute when they’re asleep,” Wanda whispered, sitting next to you. She had tied her hair into a bun, strands falling around her face.

You hummed as you took a sip of coffee. “I know; Missy’s a cutie.”

Wanda leaned forward. “Thanks for having us over, Y/N. I really do appreciate you keeping me company.”

“No problem, honey.” You met her lips with a kiss, resting a hand on her thigh. “I like being around you.”

Wanda pressed further, hand coming up to cup your cheek. She broke away for a second. “You think you can spare a moment from work?” There was a sly smile of her face.

You grinned back. “Wait a second, Wanda. Was this your plan all along?”

“Maybe?”

“Oh, you sly dog, Miss Maximoff.”

She laughed and kissed you again. “Come on; bedtime.”

You nodded and followed led her to your bedroom. After tossing Wanda a spare t shirt and pair of sweatpants, you brushed your teeth and changed into your pajamas. Under the covers, Wanda wrapped her arms around your waist and nestled into your side. When on the precipice of sleep, movement at the foot of your bed jolted you and Wanda awake.

“What was-” you started, then caught sight of a furry mass in the dark. “Oh.”

Missy curled up on top of the bed, body raising and falling with each steady breath.

“It’s okay,” Wanda murmured in your ear. “Just go to bed.”

You sighed contently and did as she said.

Christmas Dinner // W.M

Prompt 2- Making Christmas dinner with _____.

Warnings: mentions of food, a bit of kissing.

You laugh lightly as you turn to see Wanda eating the icing out of the bowl. “Wanda, darling. We are meant to be making the dessert, we can eat it later” you say, pressing a kiss to her lips just to taste the butter cream icing.

“It’s not my fault, it’s delicious” she complains as she not so subtly wraps her arms around your waist. You can’t help but smile as you feel her lean her face into the crook of your neck.

“Fine, but no more. We are in control of dessert for everyone” you say, trying to act like your not completely melting inside out of how cute Wanda is currently.

“Y'know, that one of them’ll bring something just incase. I’m guessing Thor, he likes poptarts too much” she said, only partially joking about the others.

“Fair point but that doesn’t mean we can’t put some efforts in” you continue trying to get her to be serious. “Where was this enthusiasm when we were celebrating Hanukkah?” she teases.

“Hey! I was trying but you wouldn’t let me touch a thing because you thought I was going to mess it up” you point out. Grinning, Wanda said “think. Thought gives off the impression that I got over that fear.”

“Rude much” you mutter, continuing with the icing whilst Wanda checks how the cupcakes are looking. You turn around just to see her with one of the cakes mostly in her mouth.

“Wanda!” you complained as she finishes it. Rolling her eyes, she says"Remember when I caught you taking one of the potato pancakes last year when I said for you to wait for the others.“

The two of you laugh before continuing with the food just for the cookies to be nearly burnt when Wanda pulled them out of the oven.

Mistletoe // W.M

Christmas Prompt 1- Kissing _____ under the mistletoe while _____ walks in on you two.

Warnings: kissing.

You sigh, walking out of the room. It was one of Stark’s unnecessary Holiday parties and unfortunately as an avenger, you had to make a small appearance for at least an hour.

It didn’t take long for you to find Wanda, sitting at the bar alone. Walking over to her and taking a seat, you say “hey, wanda”. “Hello, you getting bored of people staring at you as well?” she asks.

Nodding, you say “yeah. I honestly don’t know why stark likes having a bunch of strangers here poking into our business”.

“C'mon, why don’t we go out to the balcony, yeah?” she suggests as you agree. Not even a couple of minutes later, the two of you are sitting outside on the balcony.

You look up for a second when you see Wanda send a grin your way and realise there’s mistletoe even outside.

“Well, we don’t want to disappoint holiday traditions, do we?” you say whilst wanda leans forward. Her soft lips connect with your and you can taste the familiar taste of cherry lip balm.

You don’t notice anyone until a voice that you recognise as Vision says “I’m sorry for intruding but Mr Parker and Mr Lang want everyone for group photos.”

The two of you pull apart and Wanda agrees, saying “okay, we’ll be there in a minute”. As he leaves, the two of you laugh before following him inside.

Natasha is quick to deny that she was ever a jealous person. Y/n liked to tease her about, not letting up on her until her girlfriend was shutting her up.

She would describe herself more as a “possessive” person because she doesn’t get upset when people flirt with Y/n. She knows how her girlfriend looks — she knows there will be lingering eyes and people attempting to get with her. Y/n is quick to let them know she is taken which makes Natasha feel proud. Although Y/n is usually diligent about telling people off, she wasn’t telling one particular person to leave her alone.

They got invited to some birthday party, and the only reason why Natasha agreed to go was because so many of her and Y/n’s mutual friends were going to be there. They didn’t really know the guy whose birthday it was, but they showed up with gifts and were welcomed in. Natasha had left Y/n out of her sight for one moment to grab a beer. That one moment turned into ten minutes when she was stopped and distracted by Steve and Sam.

“No one thought you would come,” Steve was less shocked than his words let on. It’s a running joke in their friend group that Natasha doesn’t leave the house unless Y/n is dragging her out the door.

“I wasn’t, but Y/n convinced me.”

Steve’s eyes flashed to Sam’s before he looked back at his friend in front of him. Natasha narrowed her eyes at that. Steve doesn’t necessarily have the best poker face and he can never keep his mouth shut. So him being oddly silent is very noticeable. No matter how much Sam tries to fill the dead air with random babble, Natasha is still stuck on Steve looking…nervous? She can’t quite place her finger on what his face is trying to convey, but she knows it’s not good.

“Where is Y/n? Why isn’t she with you?”

“I was only meaning to grab a beer before you too stopped me…why?”

“Just wonderin’”

Now Natasha was really confused. Steve, nor Sam, didn’t follow up about wanting to see her and say hello after a few weeks of them not hanging out. There was no way Steve was just curious. Natasha didn’t like how out of character Steve was acting, but she decided to shake it off. She’s at some random guy’s birthday party and it would be pointless to try to get to the bottom of why Steve is acting like this. She shrugs it off and waves them goodbye, telling the two men that she’ll probably come talk to them again, this time with Y/n in tow.

There were quite a few people here. Some faces were familiar while others weren’t. Natasha is unsure how she never met the birthday boy before if they have this many mutual friends. It took a while for her to find Y/n, but when she did spot her, she was in the living room. However, she wasn’t alone. She was talking to someone Natasha has never seen before. And, they looked like they were morethan just talking; they were outright flirting with each other. Natasha was slightly ticked that Y/n seemed to be enjoying the situation, leaning in and giggling like a schoolgirl with someone who Natasha thinks is a stranger. She parses through the crowd, not caring if she was slightly bumping into other guests, to get to her girlfriend.

“Hey. Am I interrupting something?” Natasha’s stark voice ended the conversation between the two women. Y/n looks up and her face completely falls. She looks up at her girlfriend with a sheepish look as if she’s been caught.

She truly wasn’t doing anything wrong, but Y/n really didn’t want these two to meet. She just got caught up in conversation that she forgot what her initial plan was when they came. The look on Natasha’s face is intimidating, but only Y/n seems to be affected by it.

“Hi, I’m Wanda.” She sticks her hand out for Natasha to shake it, like any polite person would, but Natasha instead folds her arms. Wanda brings her hand back into her lap in defeat. ‘She must be a jealous one’ she thinks to herself as she looks over at Y/n. There is tension in the air but she maintains a smile on her face. Everything feels so electric yet they’re the only three people in the room who feel it.

Y/n clears her throat before saying, “this is my friend Wanda.”

Y/n has plenty of friends, and Natasha has met all of them. This is the first time she’s hearing about anyone named 'Wanda’. If they’re close enough for Y/n to practically all over her then Natasha should know about her. Natasha knows that Y/n is not telling her the full story because she read it all over her face that she’s been caught.

“Nice to meet you,” Natasha forces out. Her jealousy was palpable, making Y/n so uncomfortable that she feels like she’s drowning in it.

Someone had bumped into Natasha followed by profusely apologizing. It worked to snap her out of her annoyance at Y/n and this situation for a moment which gave Wanda a chance to escape.

“I should probably go catch up with one of my other friends. It was nice seeing you again, and it was so nice to meet you Natasha.”

Wanda ducked out before anything else could be said. Natasha watched her slink away from them before turning to look at Y/n. She wasn’t going to say anything about what happened just yet, but Y/n already knows Natasha has a million and one questions for her.

“Who was that?”

Y/n lets out a weak sigh before responding with, “an old friend.” There is no reason to be nervous if she’s telling the truth, right?

“How come I’ve never met her before?”

“She doesn’t live in the city. I don’t know — it’s just never crossed my mind for the two to meet. I haven’t seen her in a long time.”

“Were you too close?”

“Sort of.”

That was a lie.

Y/n was lying straight to Natasha’s face just to save herself from having to explain a long story.

Wanda wasn’t just an old friend and they weren’t “sort of” close; they had dated for two years. Things between them were well, and Wanda would even say it was the best relationship she had at the time. Which is why she was blindsided when Y/n said she wanted to end things. She said that she hasn’t felt in love with her for some time, but Wanda couldn’t believe that. It wasn’t even necessarily true either. Y/n only broke things off because she felt herself having feelings for Natasha. She loved Wanda and as hard as it was to make her suffer through a break-up that came out of the blue, it would have been much more painful if Y/n had cheated on her.

By some miracle Natasha and Wanda never crossed paths until now despite having mutual friends. None of their closest friends brought her up. Now Natasha is recalling back to Steve being odd earlier and she wonders if it has to do with this Wanda person being here at the same party with them. She doesn’t know the full story, but she knows there is more than her girlfriend is letting on. She’s only scratched the surface.

Everyone around her was in such a jovial mood, even her girlfriend who was pretending like everything was alright, but Natasha’s mind was stuck on Wanda. Once the jealousy had subsided she became intrigued. She finds herself wanting to know more about this person her girlfriend is oh so comfortable with, but didn’t tell Natasha a thing about. She excused herself from Y/n who seemed to be relieved that Natasha didn’t seem so mad at her anymore.

Her eyes scanned over every single person as she roamed around the apartment until she spotted exactly who she was looking for outside on the balcony.

Wanda nearly jumped at the sound of the glass door sliding open. She had been out here for a good 30 minutes without interruption. She was shocked to see that it was Natasha, the woman she assumes is Y/n’s girlfriend. All the years and she didn’t think to lurk on Y/n’s social media accounts to see if she was seeing someone. A part of her was still hurt and confused by Y/n’s sudden change in feelings for her. She didn’t want to be reminded of what happened by being nosy and checking out her facebook.

“Hey,” Natasha says weakly. She’s not as fiery as she was earlier.

“Hey.”

They shared the same feeling of wanting to know more about each other. Wanda can tell Natasha isn’t the type of person to fold so easily so it was something that she had presumably come to look for her. But, she wasn’t going to be the one to initiate things. Wanda on the other hand had no shame in asking.

“Are you seeing Y/n?”

“We’re dating…have been for nearly three years now.”

Wanda thinks about the timeline in her head. She doesn’t have enough evidence to believe that Y/n cheated on her, but they broke up near the end of the year. Her and Natasha would have had to start dating in October or November for them to be reaching a three month anniversary. There was just no way Y/n broke up with her and then suddenly found someone new to date within a few weeks or a month of their relationship ending.

“She didn’t tell you about me, did she?”

“Nope.”

Natasha walks over to Wanda and joins her near the railing of the balcony. The apartment has a nice view of the city, it almost distracts her from what’s heavy on her mind.

“You two dated, I assume.”

“We did. For two years. We even lived together.

Natasha felt lied to. Y/n truly wasn’t obligated to talk about her past relationships, but she had kept so much from her and lied that she can’t help but feel some sort of resentment towards her girlfriend.

"That’s not what she told me.”

“What did she say?”

“That she hadn’t been in a relationship in a long time. She said she wasn’t seeing anyone at all when I asked her out. I don’t think she cheated on you with me, but I could be biased. However she was at my place an awful lot when we first began dating, so unless you never saw her at the end of your relationship…”

There is some overlap of Y/n being in her relationship with Wanda and meeting Natasha. She knew from the moment she saw her that she liked Natasha, but she didn’t act on her advances. Wanda feels a sense of relief knowing she wasn’t cheated on because the last days of their relationship was spent at their home together. She remembers those days so vividly; the two would barely talk to each other despite being in such a small apartment.

Wanda puts it all together and realizes she wasn’t cheated on, she was dumped for something new.

“You’re the person she left me for…”

Natasha tried not to feel guilty because she truly didn’t do anything wrong, however it seeps into her chest and it feels heavy. She felt like a bitch for being rude earlier for no real reason besides jealousy when it should be Wanda who feels some sort of way.

“I’m sorry,” Natasha says weakly. It’s hard for her to say sorry to anyone, but Wanda deserves it.

“Ah, don’t worry about it. It’s not your fault,” her voice is sweet yet she sounds so defeated at the same time. “I’m not mad at Y/n either. She’s always been sort of a free spirit, I was surprised that she even wanted to be in a long term relationship with me.”

“Don’t give her any passes. She lied to the both of us,” Natasha was thinking about how selfish her girlfriend was. She couldn’t help but wonder if Y/n would do the same to her if she got bored with their relationship. Natasha is sure her and Wanda could have worked it out (although the incredibly selfish part is glad they didn’t. Y/n has been nothing but faithful and dedicated to her, so she didn’t want to believe Y/n could dump her just to enter a new relationship).

“No, Natasha, it’s fine. I’m not upset about it like I used to be. I just thought that she had cheated on me which she didn’t. I’m happy that she’s happy. Plus I’ve been dating so it’s not like I’m losing any sleep over my past relationship.”

Natasha thought Wanda was too nice. If this had happened to her, as petty as it sounds, she would be dead set on revenge.

“Do you still think about her sometimes? In a romantic way? I don’t mean to pry, but I’m just so curious.”

“It’s hard not to, especially since dating can be so tough. I think about when things were simpler and we were together. But, I wouldn’t do anything to intrude upon your relationship. Like I said, she’s happy. She’s veryhappy with you and I don’t want you to be mad at her over this. I don’t think Y/n is the type to make what she did to me a habit. She just knows what she wants in life and that’s fine.”

Wanda’s optimism was oddly reassuring for Natasha. Her anger at Y/n was beginning to subside, but she still didn’t want to let her off the hook. Even if she just shook her up for a little bit she would be satisfied with that. She was always a vengeful person, something her friends and girlfriend reminded her of often, but revenge can just be so sweet and fun.

-

Y/n couldn’t find Natasha when it was time to sing happy birthday to the guest of honor tonight. She gave up looking after the crowd began to sing the second line of 'happy birthday to you!’. She didn’t spot her until ten minutes later. Her cheeks were pink, something that happens when she’s outside in the cold for a while.

“Hey, where were you?”

“Oh, I was just talking with someone,” she wrapped her arm around Y/n’s waist and pressed a kiss to her temple, “we got carried away talking about life. Did I miss the cake cutting?”

“You did, but there are still a lot of slices left.”

“That’s fine. I just feel bad that I missed singing happy birthday with all of you…guilty even.”

“I’m sure he won’t mind,” Y/n says, as oblivious as ever.

“Let’s go home now.”

“You sure? It’s still pretty early,” she checks the time on her phone. “It’s only close to 8:30.”

“I’m sure. Someone’s coming with us.”

“Oh?”

She wondered who it was. It wasn’t uncommon for Steve or another one of their friends to come to their place after a party to wind down.

“They’ll meet us there.”

Y/n was confused, but she received no clear answer from Natasha; not even during the car ride back home. Natasha being so tight-lipped about it made her suspicious. Nothing seemed to be wrong, but Y/n can’t help but be a bit weirded out by her girlfriend’s behavior. Natasha is not the type to hold back or keep quiet, so it must be something she wants to keep from Y/n. Or, it just might now be a big deal. Y/n weighs the probability of her making this into something larger than what it really may be. She calms herself and just enjoys the rest of the ride.

She feels a bit of anticipation dancing inside of her the elevator ride up to their apartment. She didn’t know who to expect to be there waiting for the two, but the last person she would have ever thought to be standing outside of their apartment is there.

“Wanda? W-What are you doing here?”

Y/n visibly tenses up. Natasha almost laughs at her reaction and the stupid look on her face. She can’t believe Y/n is so shocked by this. She should have seen it coming, but maybe her girlfriend was just so concerned for herself that she didn’t consider this happening at all.

“She’s just here to have a chat. Let’s go on in,” Natasha gestures towards the front door. Y/n holds the key in her shaky hands. Natasha’s voice is smooth and soft, which should be reassuring, but it only makes Y/n feel more nervous. She struggles to get the front door open, but when she does, she’s being pushed into their dark apartment.

“You have a lot of explaining to do, Y/n,” Natasha coos in a taunting voice.

There is a little bit of light as the city lights peak through the sheer curtains. Y/n felt two hands on her shoulder, guiding her forward until she was walking down the dark hallway.

“Open the door,” Natasha commands.

Y/n feels for the door knob of their bedroom door before she accidentally bangs her hand against it. There is so much adrenaline pumping through her veins that the pain doesn’t even register. She opens the door in a hurry and feels herself being pushed towards the bed. She allows herself to fall onto, just to have a moment where she’s not in her body.

“W-What’s going on?”

“Don’t you think you’ve asked enough questions already? I don’t want to have to shut that precious mouth of yours up,” Natasha begins to caress Y/n’s face, “we want to hear you moan.”

Y/n was too shocked to speak. Her mouth was agape and left Natasha with the opportunity to slide two fingers into her mouth.

“Suck.”

Y/n obeys, too afraid to not do anything Natasha asks of her.

Wanda closes the door behind her and she comes to stand by Natasha. There is more light in their bedroom, but the light casts a menacing shadow over the two women towering over her.

“Submissive, just like I remember. Glad to see nothing has changed,” she begins to pet Y/n’s hair while she continues to suck on Natasha’s fingers.

Y/n’s eyes go from Natasha to Wanda and back and forth. She feels like she’s stepped into the twilight zone, but everything is so real as evidenced by their touch leaving a burning mark on her skin.

“She is. And she’s going to move higher up on the bed and spread her legs for us, isn’t that right?”

Y/n nods her head, lips wrapped snugly around Natasha’s fingers before they’re being pulled out with an audible pop. She doesn’t hesitate to follow the instructions Natasha gave her. She moves herself to the middle of their bed and spreads her legs. She curses herself for wearing that skirt to the party. Natasha told her it was too cold to be wearing it, but she didn’t listen to her. She hopes they can’t see her panties in the low light, that they can’t see the wet spot that formed on them in the last few minutes.

The bed dips as Wanda comes behind Y/n. She pulls her back into her embrace before her hands are flying to her tits to grope them. Y/n gasps at how rough her touch is. Wanda, although dominant over her, never was this rough with her when they were together. She’s reeling as everything moves so quickly and Natasha is pulling her panties off.

“She’s fucking dripping,” Natasha smirks. “Should’ve known my slut girlfriend was going to be turned on by this.”

Natasha’s fingers slide into Y/n’s pussy. She nearly groans at the feeling of her warm walls around her finger; so hot, sticky, and wet.

Y/n lets out a pathetic whimper. It feels so good even though she doesn’t want it to. Wanda’s hands are only making her feel better. She begins to unbutton her blouse so she can get to her tits without the barrier of fabric being in her way. She pulls the cups of Y/n’s bra down to expose her tits.

“Her nipples are so hard too. I’ve never felt them this hard.”

They were both laughing, laughing at her.

Their voices tangled together as they spoke at the same time; Y/n’s head was spinning. She had two fingers inside of her and two toying with her nipples. Her watery eyes made it hard for her to see Natasha between her legs.

Natasha moves her fingers in and out of Y/n’s pussy agonizingly slow. She doesn’t want to get her off just yet, she only wants to tease her and get her warmed up. The three of them can hear the sound of Y/n’s pussy squelching around Natasha’s fingers and she’s so embarrassed. There was no way she was going to be able to hide how wet she was once she got into a room with them. So many questions plague her mind, but they’re forced out every time Natasha pushes her fingers in deep. She hits a particular spot that makes Y/n moan loudly.

“You like that don’t you baby?” Wanda asks, her mouth dangerously close to her ear. Y/n was taken back by the pet name. She waited for a reaction from Natasha, any sign of jealousy that would lead to Y/n being out of this embarrassing situation, but she didn’t seem to care.

“I should make her cum for us already, shouldn’t I?”

“I think so.”

Y/n whines until her mouth is being covered by Wanda’s hand. Her muffled cries still fill the room as Natasha picks up the pace of her fingers in her pussy. Wanda attaches her lips to her neck and sucks at her ticklish skin. Y/n closes her eyes as she drowns in overwhelming pleasure. It doesn’t seem like the two are going to stop after this, but she’s already so tired and has yet to cum.

Natasha curls her fingers inside of Y/n and that’s what sends her girlfriend over the edge. She cries into Wanda’s hand as she cum around the fingers invading her. Natasha hums in approval at the feeling of Y/n’s slick coating her fingers. She pulls her fingers out and wipes the excess juices on Y/n’s inner thigh.

“Such a perfect pussy,” she fawns. She leans down to give a kiss to Y/n’s inner thigh which makes her shiver. “What did she use to call her, Wanda? Was it puppy?” Y/n’s eyes fly open and she meets Natasha’s heavy gaze. Her girlfriend has a smug smile on her face. She seems to know how much weight that little pet name holds and what it does to her. Y/n was already embarrassed, but it was even more mortifying that hearing that name that made her even wetter. The only way her girlfriend would know about what she did with her ex-girlfriend is if she and Wanda discussed it together. Her brain finally plays catch up and she realizes that Natasha was with Wanda the entire time she was missing at the party.

“Mhm. My cute little puppy,” Wanda kisses her cheek, “she was always so good for me too. Always whiny for me to play with her puppycunt and make her cum. She was so lucky that I was always gentle with her, even when I was mad at her.”

They talked about Y/n as if she wasn’t in the room. She flinched hearing Wanda refer to her pussy as a 'puppycunt’ just like she used to years ago. It was so degrading, yet she finds herself like the mix of Natasha and Wanda’s dominance. They’re so different yet she feels an equal amount of pressure coming from both of them.

“Show her how sloppy your puppycunt is.”

Natasha forces her legs wider apart and Wanda slides from behind her so she can join Natasha at her level.

“She still gets so wet when she gets spoiled. We didn’t even touch her poor clit and yet she’s still so damn wet.”

Just as she finishes speaking, Wanda brings her hand down on Y/n’s clit with a light tap. It’s not even that harsh, but it makes Y/n’s body jerk and a whine falls from her lips. She’s just so sensitive that anything they do to her makes her squirm.

“Wet enough to get her pussy filled.”

Natasha stands up and walks over their nightstand. The bottom drawer has all the toys Natasha needs whenever she wants to have her fun with Y/n in bed. Y/n thought it was silly to keep them so close, but Natasha likes to be prepared at all times.

Wanda undresses herself while Natasha is looking for whatever she’s looking for. Y/n is on the bed, still looking dumbfounded about everything happening. The last time Wanda saw her like this, they were deep in their relationship; years ago, but it feels just like yesterday. Wanda spots the strap-on in Natasha’s hand before Y/n does.

“Get on all fours,” she instructs.

Y/n knows what’s coming next, but she looks to Natasha for permission. Natasha gives her an approving look and Y/n gets on all four. Her skirt is bunched around her waist, but her blouse had been pulled off by Wanda who was greedy to touch her pretty tits.

With her face resting against the bed and her ass in the air, Y/n was completely exposed. She gave up trying to resist what was happening because every moment brought her nothing but pleasure. She doesn’t like to be humiliated but for some reason it was turning her.

“Good little puppy,” Natasha pats her ass as she stands behind her. The strap-on is fastened and ready for use. She holds the shaft and aims the head at Y/n’s slit. “Good pets get a nice, big treat.”

Natasha’s words are followed by her pushing into Y/n’s pussy. Y/n rocks forward and gasps at the feeling of the girth stretching her out. She cried as loud as needed to, as loud as her body would allow her. Natasha rests a reassuring palm on her lower back. She wants to have fun, but she also wants to make sure Y/n is good. The small motion of her hips moving back lets her know that Y/n is hungry for more.

Wanda watches them for just a little bit. She feels like she’s peeking in on an intimate moment, or a porn video, but she remembers whyshe’s here. She lays on the bed, sliding herself in front of Y/n. Natasha notices that she’s there and grabs a handful of Y/n’s hair to pull her head off the bed.

“C'mon…show me how you use to go down on her since you use to do it a lot.”

Y/n was obedient, diving into Wanda’s pussy after being commanded to do so. She wraps around Wanda’s thighs and eats her out like she’s starved, proving Natasha’s comment to be right. Wanda tastes just like she remembers. Y/n licked a wide trail from the bottom of Wanda’s pussy to her clit. Her ex-girlfriend throws her head back at the sensation of her sweet tongue on her pussy. It’s been a while since someone has gone down on her and she’s missed it so much. But, she believes, at least in the moment, that no one would be able to compare to Y/n. She knows her so well because she always paid so much attention to what made her tick. Y/n knows exactly what spots make Wanda cry and beg for more. Her moans would make it seem like Wanda was the submissive one in the situation.

As Natasha pumps into Y/n’s pretty pussy harder and faster, it makes her moan against Wanda’s sex. She can’t believe that Natasha is letting this happen. Her grip on her ass is so tight that Y/n knows that there is still some jealousy that bites at Natasha as she watches Y/n between another woman’s leg. Her anger at Y/n must run deep for her to let this go on.

“Is she doing a good job?”

“Yea…yea…so good,” Wanda moans dreamily. Her voice makes Y/n lick harder, work harder for her approval. Wanda pulls her head back up and looks at her ex-girlfriend between her legs, lapping at her like she’s missedher or something. Pleasure swims in Y/n’s eyes, but she keeps her mouth firmly planted on Wanda’s wet pussy. Her tongue slides over every inch before pushing against her slit. She pushes her tongue as deep in as it can go, but it doesn’t fill Wanda up like the way Natasha is filling her pussy up.

Y/n feels like she’s in heaven sandwiched in between two people that she really cares about. Natasha’s pace is brutal, she’s really taking her frustration out on Y/n’s poor pussy. She grabs her hair and pulls her head back once again, but this time she’s much harsher.

“Say your sorry,” her voice was so forceful, so mean that Y/n whines.

“I’m sorry!” Y/n cries out. Small moans slip between the cracks of her words as Natasha keeps her steady pace of fucking her nice and hard.

Natasha lets go of her and Y/n scrambles to get her mouth back on Wanda’s cunt.

“Needy little puppy. Such a sweet little mouth,” Wanda coos. She feels nostalgic for the time this was a common occurrence. She misses them being together, but she knows Y/n is happy with Natasha. She indulges in this feeling of being spoiled by Y/n and that pretty mouth off for what will probably be the last time. “You’re going to make me cum.”

Wanda pats Y/n’s head and lightly grinds her pussy against Y/n’s mouth. Tears well in both of their eyes as they together get closer to their highs. The cock inside of her hits Y/n’s sweet spot and she moans loudly into Wanda’s pussy. It feels so good that her mind is stuck on stupid. She’s enjoying being both Natasha and Wanda’s bitch even if it’s just for the night.

“Make her cum, or else I’ll pull out and not let you cum all night.”

Y/n starts to panic. It wasn’t like she didn’t plan on making Wanda cum, but the threat had made her become even more eager. Natasha pushes her face deeper into Wanda’s cunt as she gives Y/n long, hard strokes. The angle she’s in makes it easier for her to reach in deeper. Their skin slaps together loudly with every harsh stroke. She’s doing a number on Y/n’s poor pussy, but she deserves it.

Y/n wraps her lips around Wanda’s clit and sucks on it. Wanda doesn’t stand a chance against the mouth she loves so much and she starts gushing against her face. Y/n moans at the feeling of cum coating face. She’s drunk off the taste of Wanda’s pussy and doesn’t want to stop, but she has to once Wanda pushes her head away. There is a dazed look in her eyes when Wanda makes eye contact with her.

“Good girl, good puppy,” Natasha coos. She delivers three more thrust to Y/n’s pussy and the slut beneath her is cumming. Y/n grabs onto Wanda’s hands and squeezes them to relieve all the pressure built up in her body as she cums.

“That’s it baby, cum for us,” Wanda says as both her and Natasha begin to praise Y/n for being such a good girl. She feels all giddy inside yet lazy at the same time.

Natasha pulls out of her, leaving her feeling empty.

“C'mon princess.” She grabs Y/n’s arms and pulls her up. Y/n is easy to move around, like she’s a rag doll. Natasha grabs ahold of her face and Y/n comes to her senses for just a quick moment.

“You gonna let Wanda use your pretty pussy?” Y/n nods absentmindedly, a stupid smile on her face, “of course you are. Such a stupid little puppy for us,” Natasha presses a kiss to her forehead before letting her go.

Y/n whimpers as she falls onto the bed again. She’s staring up at the dark ceiling as she waits for whatever they want to give her. She feels her hips being grabbed and her lower-half being adjusted. She feels the head of the strap-on being pushed into her again. She looks up and sees that it’s Wanda’s pushing into her. Y/n’s pussy is so sensitive but it feels so good that she doesn’t complain.

“That pussy of yours can never be satisfied, can it? You always had a greedy little puppycunt.”

Wanda was thrusting into her with a steady pace. She was not as brutal as Natasha’s but to Y/n’s overstimulated pussy it made no difference. She was whining about how good it felt.

Natasha was comforting her while Wanda fucked her. She had taken her frustration out on her pussy, but now she was feeling slightly remorse. Although she shouldn’t feel so bad because it’s so rewarding seeing the stupid, fucked out look on Y/n’s face.

“She’s going to fill you up, okay?”

Y/n was lost in the throes, but Natasha’s words registered within seconds. She must’ve given Wanda the strap-on that cums. Y/n never knew they made such a thing until she got with Natasha.

“W-wait.”

“No waiting honey.”

There was a wicked smile on Natasha’s face. This was her and Wanda’s time for enjoyment. They let Y/n have her fun, but now it’s time to remind her that she needs to be put in her place.

“I’m gonna cum inside of you puppy,” Wanda’s tone is so sweet and comforting.

“She needs her pretty pussy filled up. She loves feeling it ooze out of her pussy.”

“I bet she does. Eager little slut.”

“Such a pretty puppy.”

“Cum for us sweetheart, cum puppy.”

Y/n is so overwhelmed by their words. They reduce her to nothing but a pussy for their enjoyment and it makes her cum. She lets out a pathetic whine as she cums for the third time tonight. The tears in her eyes finally slid down her cheek. She has no more energy left in her as her body becomes so lazy.

“Awe, don’t give up on this now.” She nudged her girlfriend, but she didn’t budge. Natasha recognizes that they’ve pushed her to her limit. She was already overwhelmed and it would probably do more harm than good to push her even deeper into subspace. “It’s okay baby,” she coos over her as she wipes the sweat off of her forehead.

She’s been fucked into exhaustion a handful of times, and this is one of them. The last thing she remembers is hearing Natasha and Wanda talking about her while only a few feet away. She’ll deal with the consequences of having lied to her girlfriend about her ex-girlfriend and for how she ended her relationship with Wanda. That day may be tomorrow, or it may be one of the following days to come. But, for right now they decide to leave her alone.

“I hope we didn’t go too hard on her.” Wanda was always concerned about pushing Y/n which is why she was never too rough with her when they were together. However, she seemed to be used to and enjoy the treatment she received from Natasha.

“We didn’t. She’ll be fine. It’s not like she didn’t enjoy it either.”

The two were now fully dressed and Natasha was seeing Wanda out. There was a comfortable silence between them as they walked to the front door. It feels good to have no animosity towards each other. Natasha got all her frustration out when she was fucking Y/n. She still wants to talk about it, but it won’t be a conversation fueled by lust.

“See you around?” Wanda asks as she stands partially outside of Natasha and Y/n’s apartment.

“Yea, I’ll see you around.”

Hello my fellow writers!

My girlfriend (@hoe4flo) and I started a discord server for us writers to come together, talk about writing and to meet more people.

If you’re interested you can join the ‘writers, ASSEMBLE’ server here:)

I watched Spider-Man in theaters and I wanted to write but it wasn’t a good time for me to since the movie wasn’t out yet. Or in a Mcu mood. But um…I might be back to Mcu (I still do headcanons) but maybe some fics. If I do spiders man it’s Tom since that’s who I personally know. Andrew and Toby are amazing and are great so don’t came after me. Plus I never watched there movie so fight me man. But if I watch andrews I will be heart broke so I’m saving myself from more pain right now.

Anyway.

I might do some Wanda and Spider-Man small fics. I don’t know yet but I might. Or in the future, like when doctors strange comes out.

REQUESTS ~ CLOSED

The whole team ( like everyone ) :

  • Peter and Bruce notice the signs first. The way your eyes are glazed over. Whoever is closest to you will grab your arm if you sway or stumble forward.
  • It kinda depends on why you’re feeling faint. If it’s because of sickness, Bruce will definitely give you an IV so that you start to get better
  • If it’s because of not sleeping, don’t be surprised if they drag you to your room and make you go to sleep for like the whole day.
  • If it’s because you haven’t ate, then everyone will start arguing over what you should eat. While everyone is arguing, Steve and Bruce sneak away to the kitchen and get you some chocolate and a glass of orange juice
  • If there’s no reason, then they will make sure to have you sit or lay down. They will also always keep a closer eye on you.

Tony Stark

  • He probably will tease you about being clumsy. He might even make a little joke or comment about it. Once he realizes that you are dizzy, he instantly goes into action.
  • If you start to pass out and he cannot reach you in time, he’ll have one of his suits get around you so that you don’t injure yourself falling.
  • If you don’t wake up pretty much immediately, he’s going to get Bruce. He might joke at first but he’s still worried about you.
  • If he does reach you in time, he’s going to wrap him arm firmly but gently around your waist. Once your eyes slide close, he picks you up and waits for a few moments. If you don’t wake up, he’ll take you to Bruce.

Steve Rogers :

  • He’s literally by your side as soon as you stagger to the left. He starts rambling off questions. Asking if you had eaten that day or if you are sleepy.
  • When you pass out from the overwhelming wave of vertigo, his worry triples. He checks your pulse quickly before picking up your limp form.
  • It doesn’t matter if you were only unconscious for three seconds. He is still taking you to Bruce. He deeply cares for you and would never forgive himself if anything were to happen to you.
  • He also hovers slightly now. He wants to be close enough to make sure that you are feeling okay and not feeling like you are going to pass out.

Bucky Barnes :

  • “ You okay there, doll?” He says as he moves closer.
  • Once he gets closer, he gets his answer. You feel the room spinning and you blindly grab whatever is close to you. Turns out is was Bucky’s metal arm.
  • He positions his body to where his normal arm wraps around your waist. He doesn’t want to hurt you with his metal arm. He guides you to the closest couch and gets a good look at you.
  • He is trying to get to the bottom of your dizziness when you end up losing consciousness. Bucky immediately yells for Bruce and checks your pulse.
  • When you wake up, you’re in Bucky’s bed, a IV in your arm.
  • “ You gave me quite a scare there, doll.”

Thor :

  • If you get lightheaded on Asgard he takes you to the healers immediately. He’s is super worried about you. You mean the world to him.
  • If you get dizzy on earth, he takes you to Bruce. Will not hesitate to pick you up when he sees the way your eyes glaze over.
  • Will freak out even more if you end up passing out in his arms. He holds you close in his arms. If you are injured and pass out in battle, Thor is p i s s e d.
  • When that happens he will not hesitate to kill all nearby enemies, his eyes glowing a deep blue as rage clouds him.

Loki :

  • He’ll react similar to Tony. He most likely will tease you about it and make some smart comments about it.
  • But the moment, your eyes flutter, he teleports to your side. He’s a trickster and likes joking around sometimes. But, he will actually draw a line when it comes to your health or your well being.
  • Demands Bruce to make sure that you are okay. The good thing is, Loki can teleport/shape shift.
  • So if he notices from far away that you are close to fainting, he’ll immediately be by your side, to make sure you don’t fall.
  • May or may not tease you though.
  • “ You fainted directly into my arms. If you wanted my attention, you did not have to resort to such extremes.”

Stephen Strange :

  • Okay if it’s before his accident, he will immediately check you out. He’s also a “ I told you so.” Type of guy so don’t be surprised if he scolds you.
  • He will be worried if you end up passing out. Will take you to the hospital but won’t let anyone but him and Christine check you out.
  • If it’s after the accident, then you are kind of in luck. He has been more aware of his thoughts. If he notices that you look like you are able to collapse, he won’t hesitate to use his powers.
  • He’ll freeze everything to get to your side. He’ll resume time when his arm is snug around your waist. Does panic a bit if you end up passing out. Won’t let you do anything for the rest of the day.
  • If you end up passing out before he can freeze time, his cloak will always beat him to getting to you. His cloak will keep you upright so that strange can pick you up.

Peter Parker :

  • He could sense something was off. He was worried as he made his way to your side.
  • “ Y/N, you oka-”
  • You fainted out of nowhere, your eyes rolling back in your head as your knees buckled. He was able to stop you from falling.
  • He had caught you with a web, a string of strong material had latched on your back. This was good enough until peter was able to get in front of you. You slumped forward in his arms.
  • “ Mr. Stark? What should i- d-d-do?” Fear was evident in his eyes.
  • “ Hold tight, kid. I’ll get Bruce.”
  • You awaken three minutes later and Peter has tears in his eyes. He thought you were gone forever.

Bruce Banner

  • Instant worry. As soon as he notices you start to sway unsteadily on your feet, he’s going to pick you up. He will do a thorough exam to try and get to the bottom of it.
  • If you do end up passing out, he’ll catch you and lay your body on the exam table, making sure that you are comfortable. While he does your exam, he’ll make sure to keep an hand on your hip to make sure that you won’t end up slipping
  • He feels better if he can find a reason behind your fainting. However, if he can’t, then he’ll will just make a habit of checking up on you more to see if you are feeling okay.

Natasha Romanoff :

  • She was already super protective of you. She felt really worried when she noticed what state you were in. Discreetly wraps her arm around your waist and supports a good portion of your weight.
  • Her grip tightens on you when your knees start to buckle. If you end up passing out, she will lift you into her arms and go in search of Bruce.
  • She won’t leave your side while you are being attended to. She will also hold your hand while you are out. This is so you will recognize her when you wake up so you won’t be alone.
  • May or may not use you feeling dizzy as an excuse to cuddle extra close to you. That way if you do end up passing out she will be close to catch you. + More affection.

Wanda Maximoff :

  • If she cannot reach you in time when you begin to lose consciousness, she will definitely use her powers. She would levitate you as gently as she could.
  • It also depends on where you feel dizzy at as well. If you feel dizzy but you are out and about, she will discreetly being you close and wrap her arm around you to keep you upright and steady.
  • If you start to feel lightheaded at the compound, Wanda will fully use her powers to make sure that you are safe. She will also carry you to bed.
  • Will not let you get up unless it’s to go to the bathroom.

Vision :

  • Starts asking you questions while guiding you to the nearest soft surface. If you do end up passing out, he will pull you into his arms. He will time how long you are out for. If it’s longer than a minute, he’s taking you to Bruce.
  • Also keeps you a little snack stash for whenever you feel lightheaded or feel faint. You have also noticed that he is starting to hover more ( literally and figuratively ). If he notices you start to sway, he’ll go right behind you and gently grab you so that you lean back against his chest.
  • While doing this, Vision will also discreetly check your pulse and temperature, but most times when he does that you are too out of it to even notice.
  • Just naturally worried about you. He wants you to be happy and healthy so he always makes sure to ask if you are feeling alright. You should also use it to get more cuddles out of him. When you cuddle up to him suddenly out of the blue, he will immediately ask you if you are alright.

Sam Wilson

  • Takes you to Bruce immediately. No like for real. And don’t even get him started if you do end up passing out. Sam loves you so much so he’s going to make sure that you are good.
  • Definitely makes you eat real food. None of that instant stuff. Even if he has to make it himself. If it’s stops you from feeling faint, then he’s willing to do that for you.
  • CUDDLING…. MORE CUDDLING.
  • He is definitely one of those people who loves cuddling with their s/o. If you do end up passing out, he will definitely be taking you to Bruce.
  • If there is no reason for your fainting then Sam will put you in bed. He will also make sure that you are as comfortable as he can make you. He will also have your favorite snack/food and/or movie ready.
  • Might make a joke or two about it.

Clint Barton :

  • ( I forgot him oops )
  • Okay, he’s like a mix between Natasha and Tony. He would tease you a little but like the instant he sees that you are looking a little out of it, he kinda panics. He definitely hovers close to you. However long this spell goes on, he will have both hands on you.
  • Will drag you to Bruce of he has to. He doesn’t play around when it comes to your health. Once Clint has you steady he will crack a joke or two after make sure that you’re good.
  • “ I guess you could say you’re falling for me.”
  • Is a lot more hesitant for you to go into battle. He’s now like ten times more protective of you, especially if the enemies know about your fainting spells.
  • He feels a little better about it if there’s a reason behind you feeling woozy. Of it’s something that can be fixed like eating enough, he’ll make sure he always has snacks/drinks on him when you are around. He’ll pull you into his lap and will make sure you are straight .

Wanda: We need to get through this locked door. Yelena, give me your credit card.

Yelena: Here.

No More Suffering

PAIRING: Wanda Maximoff x Reader

SUMMARY: Wanda doesn’t have anything left to lose, except you.

I slip the key into the lock and twist the doorknob, entering the apartment I’d been sharing with Wanda for us to recuperate in ever since the battle against Thanos’ forces, and then being snapped out of existence only to have to fight him again, five years later, though it only felt like minutes to us. I had the money and the means to live on my own, true, but I’d grown close to Wanda in our time on the run and I knew the death of Vision was hitting her hard. I set down the groceries on the counter and call out to my friend to let her know I’m home. She doesn’t reply, but this doesn’t worry me until ten minutes later when I’ve finished unpacking the food and started preparing her favourite dinner, chicken paprikash.

I stop stirring the wooden spoon in the pot and sigh. “Wanda?” I call out again. “You need to eat, sweetie, please.”

I hear a door slowly swing open and muted footsteps as she pads into the room. She freezes like a deer in headlights the moment she reaches me, slowly glancing down into the pot with horror. Her eyes well with tears.

“Wanda?” I drop the spoon and circle the counter quickly, holding her close as she starts sobbing into my shoulder. “Wanda, what’s wrong?”

“Vision— he made— always made it for me—” She screws her eyes shut and buries her face deeper in my neck. I hold onto her arms and slowly lower us to the floor, pulling her into my lap and rocking her back and forth soothingly. In my mind, I’m cursing myself, having just remembered that it was indeed what Vision made for her when they got the chance in their two years on the run.  I rub circles into her back, hoping that she’ll calm down enough for me to apologise, wishing I had another arm to knock the whole pot of dinner into the garbage so she wouldn’t have to look at it.

We stay in this position for an uncountable amount of time, all I know is that it was long enough for my legs to start aching from her weight. Eventually, though, I manage to instruct her through breathing exercises and comfort her enough that her sobs cease into small whimpers, and those into even smaller sniffles, until finally she reaches the stage we always seem to end up at: numbness.

Her expression is blank. She stares into the distance, eyes puffy and red and lined with bags.

“Where have you gone?” I ask gently.

“You’re all I have left,” comes her soft reply.

“Wanda,” I squeeze her shoulders. “That’s not true.”

She shakes her head, eyes suddenly wide. “What if … something happens. Stark’s bomb. Ultron. Thanos. I can’t live through any more loss, (Y/N), please, you have to understand what I’ve done.”

I reel back in confusion. “What are you talking about, Wanda? What did you do?”

“Now is no time to mourn. That’s what he said, when he killed him. Now is no time at all.” A deep crimson colour replaces her sad, green eyes. My heart beats a little faster.

“Wanda.”

She meets my eyes. Red tendrils of her power seep around us, embalming us. “I have to protect you.”

“Wanda, stop it!”

“No more suffering,” she whispers.

And then there was nothing at all.
