I’m going to be doing a series of posts going through my prompt book from the last show I did and explain my process and prompt books in general. I’d love feedback to see if people are interested in seeing more!

One of the most important aspects of the prompt book is the binder itself. I love these rubber binders from Staples because they are very durable which helpful for the amount of time you use the binder during the show. I generally like to keep my blocking script and calling script in the same binder so it’s crucial my binder stays together throughout the process. 

I like the white binders, however, they come in a variety of colors and sizes depending on preference and script size. I recommend sizing up in binder size if you’re unsure as I always have more than one copy of the script in the binder as well as the rest of my paperwork.

These binders come with and without an inner pocket, but I like having it as a quick storage space in the binder. If it gets in the way of writing I simply use my clipboard I keep in my SM kit so I find that not to be a problem. I find it super useful to keep binder hole reinforcements so I am always prepared in case a page rips.

I’ve noticed that one of the main reasons that people are putting for why they need a binder is that they can’t pay for one themselves. While putting this doesn’t effects your chances of winning. There can still only be one so not everyone’s going to win.

For those that don’t, I wanted to make this post informing you of a wonderful website called Swagbucks. It’s a paid survey website and before you stop reading it actually works. In fact that’s where I got the money to even run the giveaway. I’ve only been seriously using it for about 3 months and have made over $185(I used it here and there and made $18 in about 5 months)

Packer Review!

Hey all! So today I got something in the mail and I thought I’d share my opinion with you!

So I ordered a lightweight packer. It is from BulletBriefs. This is their Etsy.

It came very well packaged. As you can see there is bubble wrap.

It came with a lovely bill. And a bit of save the planet advice which is always nice :)

There are two colors that you can get. White or Black. I chosed the white one.

This packer was surprisingly not very flexible. When I ordered it I thought it was going to be like a bra pad, it kinda is like one but it is harder. That’s nice so it doesn’t bend.

And here’s a terrible picture of me.

I found that this product works best in tighter boxers.

I do believe you can hand wash this, but I’m not entirely sure.

Overall I would give this product a 10/10. It’s a good price, fast shipping, and a good first packer. It is very lightweight and when running it doesn’t move around!

Don’t put on a wet binder!

I’m going out in public with a thick hoodie on and shorts because my binders aren’t dry. It is currently 82 degrees.

But please, do not put on a wet binder, it can be tighter than what it normally is and hurt you!

How To Wash Your Binder!

Hey everyone, just wanted to make this is show y’all how I wash my binder and as a reminder to wash your binder!

So first off, I like to wash my binders every third day (unless it was really hot that day or if I spilled something on it, then I wash it that day)

So first I fill the sink up with warm water and put my binders in the water. Then I like to let them just soak in the water for a few minutes!

So next I use a Landry cleaner and softener

I keep them in small tubs cause I don’t need the whole bottle.

Now I leave them to soak for a couple minutes

Now I’m using dove body wash to make it smell nice and feel a lot softer

Now I let that soak for a moment

After I scrub them I drain the warm water

And then rinse them off with cold water

If any of your water turns a weird color do not worry! It’s not because it dirty, it’s just the dye!

Then I squeeze them out the best I can by hand and then I leave them to hang like this for the night!

my binder is literally so so so comfortable and makes me feel so safe and happy. ive never owned or worn a binder before so i didnt know what to expect at all but im so happy that i decided to go with it and i cant wait to wear it more often. ive heard so many stories of people who accidentally got the wrong size or who got stuck trying to put it on or for whom it hurts or doesnt bind well and it worried me so much but my binder is literally PERFECT it’s so easy to take on and off and fits me perfectly and aaaaaa i just adore it im so so happy
