Amidst all the Christmas food, there one thing I love more which is this #matcha. from @matcha.fuel using @oatly batista milk to make my daily latte.
I’ve been searching for a really great matcha and I’ve found it.. finally! This stuff, helps keep me, calm and alert, especially after lunch when the food coma kicks in.
My complexion is lovely from all the antioxidants and will be making some of their recipes like the matcha lemonade and the gingerbread latte.
Its so easy to make:
☆Either half or 1 tsp of @matcha.fuel matcha
☆I small @nutribulletuk cup filled up with @oatly barista oat milk (you can use any plant milk you like)
☆ Warm the milk in a pan, so it’s pleasantly hot enough to drink.
☆ Add the matcha and milk back to the nutribullet cup.
☆ Whizz for about 10 to 15 secs, it will be really frothy now, you could also use a milk frother in your big mug.
Drink!
You could put it in a big mug, like the picture above or just leave it in the nutibullet cup.

Dreamy matcha latte to start my morning✨ I never really drank coffee before last year (exam period is a fun time ) but I’m slowly trying to wean myself off so I don’t have such a dependency hehe
I used:
3 tsp matcha powder
2 tbsp maple syrup or any other liquid sweetener
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups almond milk
½ cup coconut milk
Just heat up the almond milk until warm and whisk in maple syrup, vanilla and matcha until dissolved. Divide into two cups and add the hot coconut milk

Six Ingredient Super Green Smoothie
Servings: 1
STUFF
1 ½ cups chopped kale, ribs removed
1 ½ cups frozen pineapple
2 Tbsp almond butter
1 cup coconut water
1 frozen banana, sliced
1 Tbsp matcha powder
STEPS
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until completely smooth.

Here’s all of my matcha gear! Whisk, chawan, matcha and scoop
It recommends 2-3 scoops of matcha into your chawan. However, you always want to preheat your chawan with hot water first.
Sift your matcha into the chawan and then you can add hot water - 165-170F
First add a little bit of water (20-50ml) and whisk it to a watery paste, this will help when you add the rest of the water to get good froth.
Now whisk back and forth in zig zag motions really fast! This was my second time making matcha so my foam wasn’t on point, but I can assure you, its much better now! You want nice thick foam with small bubbles.
For the taste test! This Matcha is extremely good, its in the middle of being sweet and grassy. You can take it like a shot or make huge slurps as you down it. I found this to be really flavorful and definitely way better than anything you would get at a store - most of the Matcha you will buy at a store has an overpowering bitterness. This was nice and sweet and I find that the froth really cuts the bitterness. Weird, huh? O-cha has a lot of amazing options for Japanese tea so you should check out their store here
