Hello, one and all. I need your help!

I’m look for writing prompts for something I’m planning in the future. This can be anything whether it’s a line of dialog, an action or a scenario. Hell, even a random object or word. It can be for any genera, any time period, any country. It can be angst or fluff, romance or fighting, smutty goodness or nightmare enduring. I want anything and everything.

I’m primarily a fanfic writer and that’s mostly my hero academia with my main pair being Bakugou x fem!reader x Todoroki but I also write stuff for the Witcher tv series (Geralt x Jaskier) and most recently shadowhunters (Jace x Simon). So please hit me up with specific prompts for these or even throw me some curveballs.

Send it as an ask or message me or even leave it as a comment thread on the post. I’m looking for a challenge so don’t hesitate to throw me something outside of my comfort zone.

Prompt #36

“We..we actually made it, I never thought I’d get this far”

Person A spoke, panting as Person B stood behind them, both of them out of breath. Barely escaping with their lives.

“Yeah, I can’t believe it either. I guess I can bring back the bucket list -“

Person A perked up to Person B’s statement. Turning around to see Person B blushing, assuming it was from being so overworked, overwhelmed and the adrenaline still pumping through both of their veins. Got closer to Person B.

“What’s this ‘bucket list’ ?”

Person A teased jokingly, watching as Person B stiffened from the question. Tense and a look of uncertainty taking over their expression, which concerned Person A. Person A let out a nervous chuckle in order to try and ease Person B’s tension.

“We’ve known each other for years [Person B], you can trust me with whatever it is,”

“That’s the thing [Person A], we’ve known each other for so long. And if I tell you I fear I might lose you, or - or that awkward tension when —“

Person B began to anxiously ramble, hugging themselves as paranoia filled their head. Person A watched on for a moment, trying to listen to everything but soon it became incoherent.

“[Person B], please, you don’t have to tell me, really -“

“No no, you’re right,, I should trust you with it - better now than never right ?”

There was a short silence and soon Person B cleared their throat, finally getting their thoughts in order.

“What I’m saying is,, I love you”

“Awe I love you too !”

Person A obviously replied, making Person B anxiously frustrated for a split second.

“No ! Not like that, far from that ! I mean like, the I wanna hold your hand, hold you in ways that those couples we make fun of together do-“

Person A’s heart raced once again, their face turning the same shade of red as Person B. Person A smiled, lunging themselves at Person B and hugging them.

“I was hoping you felt that way about me too, [Person B’s nickname]”

Someone who is in high power, having a personal baker for their sweet tooth - but finding it more and more difficult to contain their ever growing feelings for the baker. Spending more time with them and developing more of a friendship. Baker develops feelings for the other person but is worried that if they’re not platonic that they’ll lose their trust with person A. So they try to subtly flirt with person A (whether they know it or goes over their head is up to you).

• A taking B out to a flower garden, only to have it rained on.
• Imagine B’s horror when they realize they took A to the one spot their ex used to bring them all the time.
• A’s car breaking down as they’re driving to their destination, so instead of that nice play they were going to see, they spend the night with their heads buried in the hood of the car and fixing the engine.
• They go ice skating, A falls, and suddenly they’re in the emergency room for the rest of the night.
• B accidentally writes the schedule the wrong day down for or their date which inevitably causes them to unintentionally stand A up.
• A falling sick either before, during, or after the date and B having to help care for them.
• B’s little siblings having to tag along due to poor planning/unexpected babysitting, and they absolutely rip A into pieces with both their words and behavior.
• A doesn’t tell B that the horror movie they picked out isn’t something they’d be able to handle, so when they burst into fearful tears after a particular jumpscare, B is both concerned and worried.
• B and A somehow separating and getting lost in a mall, so rather than spending the day together, they’re busy making frantic calls and looking for eachother.

•  alternatively: allowing their partner to sleep in because they were overworked anyway and need the rest. 
•  one waking up before the other, so they make up their side of the bed and can’t help but tuck in their sleeping lover as they do so. 
•  giving the other a spoonful of the meal they’re cooking to test it out, holding their hand under their chin so nothing falls.

• A and B are known for being bitter rivals, so infamous that when they start dating, it’s best that they keep it a secret. However, their facade may have gone too far when B realizes that their friends are joining in on tormenting A with intentions to help. They have to hide their rage and will to jump in and defend their partner when A is hit with insult after insult.
• All of A’s concerns of hiding instantly go away when B gets hurt.
• Their secret plan backfiring when everyone around A notices the loving stares they now give B and assumes they have a crush on them…which to be fair isn’t wrong.
• Pretending to be absolutely shocked/angry when their friends set them up on a surprise date, but the moment they leave, they enjoy their free food/activity. (bonus if they don’t realize that their friends are still around to see how it goes and catch them)
• B slipping up and calling A “babe” or another loving nickname, and A covering their laughter as they fumble around to fix their mistake.
