Mayonnaise surprised me with this lovely little clutch! I thought she was still a few weeks out but she apparently elected to skip a pre-lay shed. Well done, May!

This is not a school lunch. I had to go to Kochi City with a friend for visa purposes. So we decided to stop for lunch at a nice cafe offering a set meal for lunch. The daily menu for this lunch changes. It was 880 yen for this meal. 

It featured miso soup and white rice along with some side dishes (a leafy pickled salad, some sort of stem pickled with bonito flakes and then daikon thath ad been boiled with konyaku. There was fried shrimp with tartar sauce, chicken karaage and also steak! Finally some pickled daikon and cucumber.

Decent lunch today. Salmon and a salad with Mayo. A gross tomato and then a potato miso soup. Then just white rice. The konatsu fruit was extra.

Salad repeats again. I tend to do this when making my own meals. Get a bunch and then eat the same thing for days in a row. Friday saw a repeat of the potato salad and lotus root salad. Though there was a new noodle salad along with it, glass noodles. Quite good. I also had cheese stuffed meatballs as well.

On Monday I had curry. I made a ridiculous amount of curry on Thursday. Enough for a week of lunches. So this will be the same lunch I have all week.

Once again, sides were the same. From the same batch. However on Wednesday and Thursday I went with sandwiches. I had egg salad on Wednesday and tuna on Thursday. Overall, still pretty good!!

Schools are still closed. There are some lovely restaurants though that have started doing take-out. One of these places is Cafe Watch. They closed down their store and moved the check out register to the front door and set up a little booth from there. You can do sandwiches and coffee. We got the egg salad sandwiches and iced coffee. The total cost was 900 yen.

Delicious, fruits, vegetables and grains, seafood. Harmony of the earth and the sea, this deliciousness, the art of taste. Avocado and shrimp. Tomato and couscous. Japanese-style mayonnaise with soy sauce and wasabi. Good ♪ It looks difficult but easy. 


 難しそうだけど意外と簡単。 そんなに時間もかからないし。 フルーツ、野菜、海の幸、穀物いろいろ♪ アボカド のまったりにあれやこれや味のアート♪
