Mercury retrograde approaches~ Now is not the time to be nasty to others
Planetary retrogrades invite us to slow down and look within. As Mercury rules communication, this is not the ideal time to make major decisions, especially financial decisions, as this retrograde is in Taurus. This is not an ideal time to do divination, either.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we continue to see disruptions regarding finance on the national/international stage as well.
As per usual, expect to experience frequent technical difficulties during this time. I’ve already been experiencing that through the shadow period.
Retrogrades are not scary. It’s all a matter of how you handle the time and being in tune with yourself.

September 16th is the full harvest moon, those of you not living here in the Americas will also have the chance to see the lunar eclipse. Remember now is a good time to recharge the tools of your craft and release any negative vibes or energy you’ve been unable to let go of. Also don’t be afraid if parts of your life seem to be shifting out of balance right now. We are transitioning into Autumn, mercury is still in retrograde, and this means everything is in a flux. Late autumn vibes for the signs
Libra - bringing out the boardgames for a game night. Go buy new “nice” pencils to motivate themselves to study. Getting a foot massage by their s/o. Cuddling up in a library corner. Going outside to stargaze but soon back inside because it’s cold and they forgot to bring a hat.
Scorpio - wanting to go camping in the fall, including everything importang: sleeping bags, bread on a stick, making your own fire. Just cannot really admit that they don’t know how to build a tent. Going apple picking because their best friend asked them to go together, but end up having fun. Dressing like Dracula. Getting a pumpkin spiced latte and feeling embarrassed about it if anyone from work sees them.
Sagittarius - making their own chocolate sirup. Visiting their grandparents. Searching for hours for their old kite and then letting it fly in the fields outside of the city. Listening to old songs they haven’t listened to in such a long time and immediately vibing with them. Saving their siblings from the bat in the bathroom, freeing it and naming it Bertha.
Capricorn - walking the dog, riding a horse, feeling the wind around their nose this fall. Wanting to learn how to braid baskets, and nobody knows if that’s just them over-romanticising cottagecore or if the baskets are gonna be christmas presents. Capricorns are very much not into ghost stories, thank you very much.
Aquarius - they listen to the rain at night and think they will never again be able to sleep without this sound. Talking to a friend on the phone and dwelling on summer memories. Walking through a park and consciously observing all the colors. Cleaning out their room. Enjoying the crunch of the leaves under their feet.
Pisces - quietly singing the ‘Nightmare before Christmas’-songs to themselves. Meticulously planning a Halloween feast for their roommates and surprising them with it. And then they’re kinda sad that nobody dressed up in costume. Reading their very favourite book yet again. Kisses on cold noses.

We made it through Mercury retrograde! Clarity begins as the retrograde energy begins to fade away. We should begin to realize that any mistakes that were made the last few weeks, were just different paths to the same destination. Resolving differences and creating balance in relationships was the main focus of this past Mercury retrograde. Bringing up any past issues that needed to be resolved. Remember Your Strength As A Woman
The card and message for today is from the 11—Strength.
We see depicted in this card the Irish fairy Goddess Brigid, powerfully surrounded by 12 animals she loves, making her the 13th living being in the card, or the “circle.” She feels completely safe with these animals and in her place on Earth, and is happily expressing her enthusiasm and love for life. Brigid is holding out her ego in her left hand, in the shape of a small sun. The wolf is sniffing it, so it knows what Brigid is going to do next. The Strength card expresses that it is possible to be strong without being threatening or dominating. Strength is our inner fire and energy that makes transformations possible through seemingly magical means.
Yesterday, Mercury’s Retrograde period officially began. It brought with it tests to my strength as a woman. I was placed in a position where I had to stand up and say…this is unacceptable.
I was hired to be a Family Consultant and my first salary check is delayed due to the error and delay of the Director doing necessary paperwork. I understand. We are in the thick of several Retrogrades so shit happens. But the sticky part came when she admitted her covered up mistake (last minute) but refused to go about resolving it creatively and respectfully. My time and services are valuable - act like it. This meant -in her mind- getting my first check around the 20th of May. What? I started work on the 9th of April. I was not going to pay for her mistake and suffer the financial delay and setback while wait for almost sex weeks to get paid. Hell No!
So my Uranus & Pluto living in my 11th house took over. They are the gods that deal with groups and organizations (as well as prayers, hopes, and wishes) through me. Truth is, these two gods are not to be played with. I also know how kick-ass they are and the paper trails they’ve made me leave behind in organizations, groups and corporations who were not playing fair games. I’ve never known how to stand by and watch. I only know how to get in the dirty waters with them, swim under and bring up their bullshit from the depths. And because of that …CHANGE always takes effect when I come through and leave. It’s a trend in my life that I don’t talk about much. It is because it brings out my warrior fighting spirit each time and it’s one that I admit that I had even feared. But it was because I had not taken the time to sit with it and get to know and value its purpose. These two planets bring out my Woman of Strength.
Besides War has become so twisted and muddled up that it’s difficult to find true warriors fighting for a real cause any more. The true soldiers of life have all died or been murdered. The spirit of war has become infested by greedy corporations and skunky leaders. People don’t know the value of a true honorable fight anymore. They sit on the outskirts and watch or turn their backs, holding sexual tensions thick and hard. We are all now afraid to fight because of the imbalance of our Mars.
In this card, Brigid has no fear because of her deep connection to the Earth and to her community. She is an independent and free woman, who knows how to draw upon her chi or kundalini energies for her needs, or for others if they need to be healed. Sometimes worrying about facing an ordeal is actually harder than doing whatever it takes to get it done. Strength reminds us that we can face our fears and demons gently, and deal with aggressive people in the same way, sometimes with the best results.
The Matriarchal one represented in Motherpeace Strength is also known as the “Lady of the Beasts”, as she tames the animals with her spiritual forces. She has the Strength of any savior or redeemer, and is also known as Mistress of the Spirits, a shaman, Sybil, Prophetess, and Witch.
My Mars, Uranus & Pluto are all in Virgo natally; they fight with the pen as their sword and through the word, mind and intellect as they have me do. The Virgo energy is strategic, good with the details most overlook. It helps me see through it all. I pick at my opponent and tear them apart. I discern their weakness and see their flaws. I use it all against them to help them move into their strengths. Thus the paper trails. They are evidence to show. I am wise to always document the events and put it all in writing. Then when it’s all over and the dust has settled, we each can have a transcript of definite transformation- mainly authored by yours truly.

The Seductive Powers of Scorpio & Pluto!

I adore my son and see whole beauty when I see and think of him. Inside & out! He’s a great person, an amazing soul!
I am presenting yesterday at a Farmer’s Market. My son stops by. But prior to that he is looking for my booth and can’t find it. He’s calling but I can’t answer my phone.
Upon his final arrival at my booth, I introduce him to one of my Scorpio Sun colleagues. She is excited! I wonder why!? “ That’s your son?!? ….He looks like a model! Wow! I saw him a few moments ago in the crowd. He is so handsome! He is a model!!! Yes he is!!”
So she begins to offer tips and suggestions to steer me towards honoring what I have known for a long time….my son is a model in more ways than one. I don’t focus on the external aspect, but I know that he is a wonderful inside & out, a powerful role model for many of today’s youth. He has so much to offer.
When it comes to his looks, I tell him all the time just how handsome he is. But somehow he doesn’t readily believe me. He thinks lesser of his looks.
Sharing the news with him yesterday helped boost his self-esteem and ego. Hearing yet another confirmation from another person was good for him. His dad was a model in his home in Brazil. He did underwear commercials and was laced on the cover of billboards (Pisces ascendant). I on the other hand do not consider myself a model, but I am constantly in pursuit by photographers. Thanks to my Neptune in Scorpio 1st/2nd house.
I resisted this for so long because I needed to lay a solid foundation for my son rather than get caught up in the glitter and glamour of the superficial public, commercial realm. Should I have done it earlier? I think not!
Now I am leaving it up to him! I will support and back up his choices & decisions!
