I totally did. Like a crazy obsessed girl actually. I have never loved leopard prints particularly until now. Maybe it’s because current contemporary and minimalistic trends stripped off leopard motifs from its old style vulgarity. It got cool. Or maybe I just didn’t get the beauty of it until now. You grow you learn, right?

Are you a lover of all bright and colored or more like a minimalistic, basic neutrals freak?

I like bright colors but find them somehow difficult for the spaces, you can easily get bored. So my perfect choice is always about basics, whites mixed with natural colors, wood, nude hues, greys. And adding color spots with decor items, so you can change them quickly and never get bored. .

Mine was awesome! No school today for Arianna (nor tomorrow for EU and local elections) so we just hanged on the beach all day…
Ah wait, the second part Of the sentence was actually true one year ago…
This year we’re having the coldest May in 50 years and we’re still hanging around in jackets and foulards… Just like the second pic which wasn’t taken today either but on Easter Day… and it was warmer that day than now that we’re one month ahead.

So after this public complaint about things that no one can change, I already feel better and ready to face the next 3 days of heavy rain with a smile. .

I couldn’t believe while scrolling through my camera roll, there were no (so called) progress pics recently.
It was almost 3 weeks I didn’t take any besides some quick post workout selfies. Which don’t count right? A progress pic shows flesh, possibly a lot of it, that’s in order to be compared with another, earlier progress pic.
_
But you know what’s the truth. I’m not a progress freak anymore. Yes, I still like to make comparisons with my earlier stages and I was actually pretty sure I’ve lost muscle tone recently (wasn’t really checking on my physique not even in the mirror).
_
But since my current goal is not about weight loss nor about any particular muscle growth, I just don’t care that much about the aesthetic side of this whole thing called #fitnessjourney.
_
When it was about weightloss it was far more important to take those progress pics often. I was constantly monitoring progress. But not anymore. Now it’s about maintaining my healthy habits, eating right, working out most days and just enjoying the benefits of it all. And this feels so damn good! .
