Just found out one of my students is reading Mark of Athena for the first time. They had read up to son of Neptune and had heard from lots of people how good MoA was.
I told them it was one of my favs but I sobbed.
This other kid who over heard was like, SAME!
The best part of my job is nerding out with my kids.
Me: excited for the new Percy Jackson cast.
Me: realizing we have to watch walker Scobell and and Leah Sava Jeffries go through literal hell.
I’ve had Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson for literally 24 hours and I HAD THE HORRIBLE REALIZATION THAT WE WILL PROBABLY WATCH HIM FALL INTO TARTARUS AND I AM NOT PREPARED FOR THAT NOR WILL EVER BE

You’re a sucker for enemies to lovers romance novels and films. Spend half your time wishing you could either be her or date her. Liking both Percy and Annabeth. You guys scare me - you will NOT take Annabeth criticism well. I’m pretty sure half the fandom is you, or is scared of you as well.
Animals over humans any day except for maybe one or two people who you’d probably die for but will never tell them *cough you’re probably secretly in love with them cough*. You wish you were closer to your parents and you can’t understand why you aren’t.
And finally your favourite books are MOA or BOTL. Oh and those Rachel antis- totally extreme Annabeth stans.
