No point for ever wearing make up in the gym. I sweat it off also ruin my hair. From my back day. I did add in unilateral overhead pressing to help with my lat development. What was on my Instagram story. I post a lot more on there

Planning on being at Fan-X in cosplay for a day. I have gone 3 days before but it gets boring fast. Look for the buff Harley Quinn with a giant mallet. 99% chance that will be me

Today I finally felt human! Even though Abby has decided that the day starts at 3am I was able to start work early today which meant I could end earlier! So I got a workout and shower in before the nanny left for the day! That’s the second time I was able to do that and I think it works out really well! She is here anyway with my girl, I might as well take advantage! I felt a little guilty at first but I realized that I really need the workout for my health, the nanny is here getting paid anyway, and I will be with my girl the whole rest of the day! So yay! I’ve finally found one way to get a workout in!‍♀️

When I first started working out over 5 years ago, I would do tons of abs days. I loved it. But now that I know more about lifting and became a personal trainer, I never do abs days anymore. They are used in so many other exercises! But I did some abs exercises with TRX and omg it was so hard!! I have to keep strengthening my TVA muscles so that I can keep lifting and start to go heavier again! So important not only for pregnancy/postpartum, but everyone! These muscles hold us up and keep us stable!

Now that I’m working out more consistently again, I’m setting some new goals for myself. Goal #1: be able to do pull-ups again! Before I got pregnant I could do at least 10 (I think I was up to 15?) and I’m gonna get back to that!

I’m now 3 months postpartum!! I still can’t believe Abby is 3 months old already. It was really hard getting into a workout routine but I think I’ve finally figured out my groove! But I only have one more week working from home before I go back into the office I’m gonna miss my little lady way too much! I’m getting stronger physically but I hope I can stay strong enough emotionally for this!

Slowly growing my muscles back! It’s funny how we preach “it takes time. Dedication and consistency is the key” but I am definitely falling into the “but I want my results NOW!” I am now better understanding where my clients are coming from. It is definitely a mindset that I need to embrace! I can do this!!❤️

Back attack!!! I was kinda scared to workout back since I hold Abigail so much but it went great! I stayed lighter with my weights and did supersets cause I was short on time to get back to feed Abby again. Felt so good to be lifting again!

I gave birth 28 days ago to my little angel! I worked out throughout my whole pregnancy to a program that I created (coming soon!!) and I’m so glad that I did! I feel great and I am so proud with how I look 4 weeks after. Soon I will be able to start working out again but it will be a completely different journey for me. My baby is my number 1 priority and always will be. But our health is also right up there. If I’m not healthy, I can’t be there for her. So soon I will start my postpartum workout plan and I’m really excited!

During the past few months I’ve realized just how huge a role patience plays in the road to success. Fitness is just one metaphor. The distance between where you are and where you want to be is sometimes constrained by days and weeks and months and even years. So to be successful, you have to commit to each individual action with the same passion that you commit to your vision.
