Eating 1600 calories a day for 6 months is going to do you more good than eating 1200 calories for 2 weeks, getting discouraged, bingeing and giving up!

oliviafitmomof3:

Getting healthy doesn’t mean you can only have salads. Have your pizza. But have it in moderation. Have 2 slices instead of 4. Add a side of salad. Have pizza one night but salad the next. You can still enjoy the food you love and get healthy!

oliviafitmomof3:

You may not see much scale changes but physical changes could be occuring. Or you don’t see physical changes but scale changes are occuring. Or neither, but you are feeling better emotionally/physically/mentally! Any change of any kind is good.

oliviafitmomof3:

Slow progress is better than unsustainable quick fix. Find the calories that work for you, and stick to it. The weight will come off.

oliviafitmomof3:

Scale goals aren’t everything. Sleep, habits and mindset.

oliviafitmomof3:

Remember this when you fail. Be it one day, one week or one month.

cassje:

Not much change in the side by side, lots of change in the everyday life!!

If you start big, please please please focus on your non scale goals and victories! If I was looking for a big change in the mirror I would have given up hope by now

Much love to you all tumbles ❤

What an achievement!

So this is my entry for Transformation Tuesday. It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t fast. It took me years

So this is my entry for Transformation Tuesday.

It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t fast. It took me years to reach this point and I’m nowhere near done.

There is no magic formula, no pills, no tea, not even a strict diet that can do the trick instantly. It’s all about determination and a daily desire to be better than yesterday

Amazing work denissemonkey!

“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” - Socrates

I’ve come to realize that’s where I went wrong the first time around. I was so focused on changing my body because I hated it, losing as much weight as quickly as possible, and getting rid of this old person I did not like. I wanted it to stick, but I was lost and didn’t know how to find balance. This time, I’ve found that balance I never knew I needed. I’ve found an amazing support system and community, I’m creating healthy habits that stick, and I’m truly committed to making a lifestyle change. I like and know who I am now, regardless of what weight I’m at, and I want to inspire others to start their lifestyle change today. What are you waiting for?

You can follow my personal weight loss journey through my instagram and my fitblr. Happy #transformationtuesday everybody! I’d like to start featuring weight loss transformations on here every Tuesday, so please submit them to me via the submission link!

August was slow AF but I still ticked on down. My Jan1st goal is to hit the new year solidly in the 230s. As we all know navigating food holidays is hard when you’re working on weightloss. So I’m not giving myself an impossible number I won’t be able to hit.

Current weight: 82.7kg

So I’m down about 0.5kg from last week and thats including a bit of an indulgent weekend so I’m super happy with that.

Skinny Every After: The Reality of Weight Maintenance

After losing 1/3 of my body weight, I thought maintaining it would be a breeze. I thought I would jog off into the sunset and live skinny ever after. While I have managed to stay within a healthy weight range since I have been in maintenance mode, I have had quite a few ups and downs along the way. I thought I would share my experiences with weight maintenance as well as some tips and tricks for…
