A little while ago someone commented and asked me what my favourite things are to snack on. I have been meaning to write a post on this and now today is the day.
I am definitely a snacker especially when I am out and don’t have time to pack a full on meal. I also like having 5 smaller meals a day because I find it easier to digest and I never reach a extreme hunger or what some like to call…
Tried the violife “halloumi”. Tasted the same as all the regular violife cheese with a firmer texture but hey who hates eating a bock of fried cheese

ahh spicy sweet potato hummus all you have to do is blend 3 baked sweet potatoes, 1 can of garbanzo beans, 3 cloves of garlic, the juice from 1 lemon, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt, and any other spices of your choosing until smooth. so gooood and without any of the fat and sodium in regular hummus!

Homemade hummus and homemade beer bread! The trick I’ve found to making hummus more like the restaurant is adding more tahini than recipes suggest - makes it so creamy. Tomatoes with olive oil on the side for something fresh

Curried White Bean Hemp Hummus
STUFF
1 15 oz can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
¼ cup shelled hemp seeds
1 large clove garlic
3 Tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tsp curry powder
½ tsp salt
1/8 tsp cayenne powder
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 Tbsp water
STEPS
Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor fitted with the S blade. Blend all ingredients until smooth and completely combined, which could take about one to two minutes.
Season to taste with additional salt and lime juice, if necessary. Serve drizzled with olive oil on seeded crackers, warm pita bread, or crudité.
