There is something so free about that poem. Reading it, I have the same sense of peace that I feel watching swallows dance across blue sky. Watching people receive their karma when a goddess like me only came in peace and love and light. It’s always some privileged prick fucking with me while I’m enjoying the my own universe, doing my own thing, not bothering them. Energy is soooooo real, just be GOOD.

Did a meditation tonight so here’s a whole bunch of memories I uprooted!
❤ I was waiting for my companion in our home(ish), anxiously. As soon as he walked in the door, I ran over to him. He didn’t look me in the eye, clearly distraught. Neither of us had to speak. He looked aside, and I wrapped my wings around him as he leaned into me and started to cry. His best friend had been killed in the war.
❤ Running through the angel hub in Heaven to catch up to him, jumping on his back and accidentally smacking him in the face with a wing.
❤ Walking in the rose garden on my own, picking some of the roses to make a flower crown and decorate the house. I was gentle and soft with them. The memory had a pink and gold tint to it.
❤ In a flowery field, blue skies above me. I was sitting with another angel, my sister, smiling and laughing in casual conversation. We were talking about our significant others, having a good time. @angelicmarigold turns out to be this angel!!
❤ Laying on the beach with my companion, looking up to the skies. We were moving around and smacking each other with wings, trying to get comfortable. Blissful laughing and warm temperatures, stars above our heads.

Opening tonight at Corey Helford Gallery in LA is the group exhibition, “Sensory Overload” (Jan. 21st - Feb 18th) ! Below is my piece for the show:
“Sweet Damnation”, 2016, Ballpoint Pen, Ink Pencils, Ink Wash, Graphite, Colored Pencil and Gel Pen on Mixed Media Paper, 16 inches by 24 inches (20 inches by 28 inches framed)
For the show, “Sensory Overload”, I decided to create a piece inspired by religious, medieval, Christian imagery with exclusively “American Midwestern” flora and fauna. Titled “Sweet Damnation”, my artwork tackles the theme of sensory overload with the moth, a pine devil silkworm moth, becoming completely overwhelmed by its interaction with the snake in the artwork. The moth is receiving an enlightening kiss by Satan, represented as a divine, winged black rat snake who is entwining an american persimmon tree. The poor little pine devil is being completely overpowered by the otherworldly touch of the snake’s tongue. Missouri is my personal Garden of Eden and I wanted to represent that with this piece, as well as have a little fun with common religious imagery.
