LIVE

After so many of you enjoyed the low-energy ways to celebrate Samhain and Yule, I have decided to continue this little series for everyone who just doesn’t have the energy or time for big celebrations and rituals. Remember that your path is exactly that: only yours. Your practice isn’t worth less or means less just because it might be different to the ways others are able to celebrate. Have a blessed Imbolc my dear friends.

-Honey purifies and stands for beauty and prosperity, so you might want to stir an extra spoon in your morning tea or enjoy it on a nice piece of toast.

- Imbolc is a good time for beauty and selfcare magic and another way to benefit from the honey would be to mix it with some oats and milk and apply it as a face mask. Do something nice for yourself, maybe even draw some sigils onto yourself while applying it.

- Today we want to invoke the sun, brightness and happiness and invite them in our home. Citrus fruits represent just this. You might put some lemon in your water, snack on an orange or get yourself some sweet lemonade.

- Take a nice bath and try to use the time in there to reflect. What do you want in your life from this moment on? What brings you hapiness? A good idea would be bath additives with flowery or fresh scents, like lavender, roses or other flowers you enjoy.

- Imbolc is about celebrating light and the sun, so watching thesunrisewould be a nice way to start the day. If you can’t make it up early, you might want to watch a video of a sunrise or light a nice candle to welcome the sun’s returning.

- Integrate flowers in your day. It can be something that takes a little more time like planting some flowers in nice pots or your garden, but it may also be as simple as wearing clothes with a floral pattern, apply nail stickers with flowers on them or wear any colorful jewelry that might remind you of flowers.

theredribbon:

To charge and activate sigils trace them with a crystal point. You can use clear quartz for anything but if you want to get specific you can use Tigers Eye to activate and charge a protection sigil or use your own correspondences.

Low Effort Magic

I have a hard time doing something that involves magic every day, even though I’ve been on this path for quite some time.

Practicing magic a lot is by no means mandatory but it does help (in my opinion) to get better at it and it just helps with everyday problems. So here are some low effort activities you can do everyday that will hopefully help those of you with similar problems!

  • Write words like “protection”, “healing” or whatever you want into your drink with a straw or spoon before you drink it. Or draw sigils in it.
  • If you feel super exhausted for no apparent reason, open a window and scream or, if you like it, put on some angry punk or metal music to banish whatever is feeding on your energy. While you’re doing that, keep in mind that you want to banish. Otherwise you’re just playing angry music. Yelling “Fuck off” also does the trick.
  • When you eat or drink something, try to pinpoint at least one magical property of each ingredient in your drink/food. It can also be one that has no historical evidence but is personal to you. That will help keep you in the magic mindset and also helps you to get all if that info into your long-term memory.
  • Open the window, stand in front of it and breathe in the air deeply with your eyes closed while you remind yourself that tge wind is part of nature and that you’re connected to it. It doesn’t have to be a half hour meditation, 5 seconds get the job done as well.
  • Offer everyday activities to your deities. For example: cooking for Hestia, standing up for yourself for Loki, practicing magic or **self care time** for Freyja, disposing of trash the correct way to your local nature spirits, etc
  • Take a shower or a bath, or just wash your face or brush your teeth with the intent of cleansing yourself from all that negative energy that has built up over the day.

That’s all for this time. If you like it I’ll do another one. :)

witchynyx:

So for reference: I’m autistic, have ADHD/depression/anxiety/insomnia, and have mobility issues, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia.

My witchcraft is more recent than all of these (about 3yrs now), so I’ve not really adapted a practice to my limitations, but I’ve created my own practice which thus works around them. It’s hard to know what qualifies as a ‘hack’ when you’ve never really known anything different, but I’m going to see what I come up with.

Timing is Flexible

I guess one of the things that makes the biggest difference for me is being flexible about time. Wanna do a full moon ritual but you just don’t have the capacity to do so in the hour closest to its peak illumination? Anywhere within a few days is cool - I know considering 3 days as full (ie the night closest to 100% and the night either side, but some also consider 5 days (at which it’s still 98%+ illumination), or even 7 (still over 95%)!

Likewise with your seasonal celebrations, it doesn’t have to be on *the* date! Nature doesn’t flick sudden switches between seasons, so the energy of a certain celebration or event doesn’t suddenly appear and then disappear after 24 hours. There’s often up to a week between the traditional and astronomical dates of the sabbats, and honestly, I’ll do whatever I’m planning within up to a week either side of that. If there’s a few things I want to do, they they don’t all need to be done on the same day, either. You don’t need to do everything at once, and you don’t need to do them at the exact time/day.

You don’t have to do All The Things!

I especially see the stress of this from younger and newer witches, but you really don’t have to do everything. Sure, it might be nice to do an elaborate ritual every new moon, full moon, and sabbat, but that’s a LOT! And that’s even a lot for someone young, in good health, with lots of energy and minimal external commitments! Maybe you still want to observe all these, but all you can manage is 5min meditating near your window or lighting a candle to acknowledge these - that’s rad, and totally counts!

Magic + Self Care = Win

Honestly there are so many books on how to inject magic into your self-care routine*, but witchcraft has literally been the best thing for my self-care game. Learning to connect with myself and the natural world around me has been the best thing I’ve ever done for my mental health. Plus it’s an easy way to implement the things you’re learning! I incorporate colour magic into my clothes/makeup selection, medical and magical herbalism both inform my tea selections, perfume and bath salt blends, and charm my food/drinks.

* My fave book on the topic so far is Light Magic for Dark Times by Lisa Marie Basile (she’s also chronically ill).

Nature is Everywhere

I literally live in the very centre of my city - I can’t drive, how much I can walk is pretty limited, and even spending much time on public transport wipes me out - but nature is still EVERYWHERE! Even excluding the herbs growing in pots on my balcony and and the pothos in my bookshelves, an urban space still has nature. Without leaving my apartment I can still see a few pigeons/crows/etc flying past occasionally, and a few paperbark trees, plus the roses and crepe myrtle in the garden of the old building across the road.

If you don’t have 4 different species of street trees growing on your block or any parks/gardens nearby, what plants grow in abandoned spaces, or force their way through cracks in the concrete? What birds are around? Is anyone nearby growing plants in window boxes or balconies? Even on a terrible day, walking past the paperbark tree across the road when it’s covered in flowers brings me a moment of joy.

Meditation Isn’t That Hard…

… But it still kinda is. Literally the main purpose most folks are using meditation for is to train their focus. All that needs to be is picking a focal point (the breath is a common one, because it’s always available) and focusing on it - your brain will absolutely wander from that, that’s just when you gently nudge it back to your focal point. That’s literally it! Over time, your brain will wander less often, and return back where you want it more easily. It’s not supposed to be easy straight-up, otherwise there wouldn’t be any benefit to it - it’s a skill you practice to get better at, like any skill.

You don’t need to sit any particular way - if you have pain/fatigue, you can lie down (just ideally somewhere you’re not at risk of falling asleep), if you have ADHD or are otherwise hyperactive/easily bored, you can combine it with movement (stretching, walking, running, you can honestly meditate while smashing out your cardio at the gym). There’s lots of ways you can adapt the basic premise, and it’s totally fine to use guided meditations if you get caught up in your own mind and need external reminders to prompt you back to your focus.

ADHD Note: Meditation is literally THE most effective non-medication way to improve our focus! The down-side is that our brains are dopamine-deprived/seeking and meditation doesn’t tend to give us that dopamine hit it wants, which can make the executive dysfunction a massive block to actually doing the thing. I’m pretty stuck here myself, particularly with my physical health stuff ruling out anything particularly physical/active.. I might need to see if I can find something high-dopamine to do afterwards as a bribe?

It’s Okay to do Your Own Thing

Throw out any idea of what your practice “should” look like or include and just roll with what works. If you’re physically disabled and struggle to leave the house, feeling like you need to do you rituals in a remote forest is probably going to mean you don’t get to do many and then feel crap about yourself - craft a ritual you can do sitting in bed! If you’re asthmatic, perhaps using candles, sprays, or bells would work better to cleanse your space than burning incense or herbs. If you have poor fine motor control or impaired vision, maybe you find it easier to record your journey digitally! Doing something “differently” and being able to do it is far better than doing something “properly” and just.. literally never being able to do it.

You’re Not Alone

There are honestly SO many disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent, and mentally ill witches out there. We’re really often drawn to witchcraft, and there are some folks putting out some great resources on how they adapt their practice - like @heatherwitch’s“Bedridden Witchcraft” series. Quite a few popular witchy authors are chronically ill as well, like Lisa Marie Basile, Juliet Diaz, and Arin Murphy-Hiscock. Don’t let anyone tell you that your can’t practice witchcraft unless you’re physically and mentally well, it’s bullshit, and we’re all living proof.

Love this! I have a lot more posts than just my bedridden witch ones, although that’s my most extensive series :)

I’ve been having a lot of trouble summoning the energy to do even basic elements of a daily practice for weeks now, and it’s kind of upsetting me that “I can’t get into it” for various reasons.

Doubt, sometimes I get angry and just think the old ways of practice are pointless, and just don’t want to do dailies, like tarot pull for morning and night, and pendulum stuff, and making sigils all thetime. I’ve been having trouble thinking what to even bother sigilizing for..

I guess I’m at a point where I’m somewhat skeptical, and wonder if magick really works, then I feel it, and know it does, but I just sometimes think even if abilities of healing and such are possible… for others.

I don’t see myself as being worthy or being able to truly perform acts of magick that are significant. I’ve just been feeling very “blah” lately… I have very poo self-esteem and thus poor self love and just dont think I deserve anything, intrinsically to some degree, it’s been programmed into me.

This Path is gnarled.

I luckily haven’t had to deal with much chronic pain or hand pain yet, especially with regards to baking (crochet is another story). That said, these look like some pretty solid tips! There’s also some in the comments section.

As this link nears five hundred notes, I’m just… very quietly touched at how many people are sharing it. Whether they need it themselves (or think they will someday), or know someone else who might need it, the fact that all of them are sharing the sentiment of “I want the people who love doing this thing to be able to keep doing the thing that they love” is… yeah. It makes me happy.

Simple Practices For Low Energy Days

Carry a crystal!

Choose a crystal to carry, it’s as easy as popping it into your pocket! Different crystals will have different energies and therefore effects so try and choose one best suited to your needs that day.

Burn incense or oils!

Another easy daily practice, you could light an incense and take a few minutes to meditate, or have a cleansing bath or shower with one lit! Like crystals different incenses and oils have different properties so try and find ones that work good for you.

Read or add to your Book Of Shadows

When you practice magick there’s no end to learning, it’s helpful to collect all the information you’ve gathered into one place; your book of Shadows! On low energy days it may be helpful to return to topics you’ve already covered and revise the information or add to them!

Use colours that match your intent

Colour magick can be a great easy practice on low energy days as there are so many ways you can utilise the everyday objects around you. You could paint your nails, wear something, use a colour palate in your artwork, write with a coloured pen or use colours in your makeup.

For more about colours, check out: Colours and their magick properties

Use bay leaves to manifest

Bay leaves are very easy to use as manifestation tools, you can simply write the things you want to attract onto a leaf and burn it. On lower energy days you could write affirmations onto the leaf and burn to attract positivity.

greykov:

ramblings-of-a-wayward-witch:

There’s a thing  called a “ME” candle. A Me candle is dedicated to yourself, usually burned when your personal energy is low.

Usually a pillar candle, it can be any color but my personal preference is white. You can dedicate the candle any way you like, but a simple way is to just hold it and focus on your intention of infusing the candle with your energy. It helps to do this on a good day when your energy is high!  You can dress the candle with essential oils that boost energy - like eucalyptus, lemon, grapefruit, cedarwood, peppermint.  Any citrus oils are great for boosting energy. Of course, it’s ok to NOT use eo’s if you don’t have them or can’t afford them.

You can also carve sigils and/or bind runes in the candle pertaining to boosting your energy. (this is actually my preferred method - it kind of makes it more personal)

You can burn your candle on low energy days, when you’re doing a spell/ritual to boost the energy of said spell. Or even whenever you feel the need.

Happy Witching , lovelies ❤

sassandspells:

A spell to remove positive feelings towards a person from yourself.
“To stop a heart from jumping.”

What You Need:

  • Paper / Journal Entry
  • Cup
  • Water
  • Freezer
  • Sink

Optional:

  • Taglock
  • Sigils
  • Solar Eclipse

(I performed this spell on the Solar Eclipse, but this is not necessary.)

If you have a journal entry about your positive feelings, love, lust, etc. for this person, I recommend using that for your spell. It will have strong energy related to you and to the person. Otherwise, write down the feelings you want to be removed.

On top of all this writing state your intention clearly. Be specific and leave no room for loopholes. What I wrote: “I will no longer engage in fight or flight as an initial response to seeing *their full name*”. My goal was to stop my heart from jumping, and erasing feelings was an after-effect.

You may also include an optional sigil corresponding to your need.

After this, fold the paper shut. Fill a cup with water (I recommend a disposable cup if possible) and put the paper into the water.

Concentrate on the person to further imprint their energy. I imagined their face, and brief flashes of moments I shared with them.

Put this cup in the freezer and wait until it is solidly frozen. I left mine overnight the night prior to the solar eclipse.

When it is frozen, take it to a sink. You can either rip/cut the cup off if it is disposable, or put small amounts of hot water into the cup until the ice melts away from the sides enough to come out of the cup.

You should have a full ice chunk now, with the paper inside it.

Put the chunk on the drain of the sink, and under hot water. Watch the feelings melt away with the ice.

You can move it to make sure all the ice is gone from the waterlogged paper. The paper will fall apart easily. Rip it to pieces, and dispose of the pieces.

Tagging@witches-ofcolor , one of my solar eclipse spells from today! :D

I’d suggest this too for “melting away” negative feelings of your own.

witch-of-color:

Sometimes it can be hard to really feel connected to the actual magickal side of being a witch. Personally I’m involved with my deities or other spiritual/personal things 110% of the time but I don’t always feel connected to my actual witchcraft. So here are a few small magickal challenges I thought up to help anyone in a similar situation.

✨ – Set aside a time once a week to burn a candle. Make it a color that connects to whatever aspect of your life you would like insight or growth in and spend 10 minutes watching the flame and opening yourself to whatever it is you’re seeking.

✨ – If you have any books with pre written simple spells in them (most intro to witchcraft books have a section) flip through it and find a spell that calls to you and do it! As written, just to practice getting out of your head and going through the motions of spell work.

✨ – Send out blessings. To your crush. A new friend. Your best friend. Your mom. Whoever.

✨ – Call up your energy into your palms and then place them on your own heart to send yourself love and healing and to connect yourself to your energy.

✨ – Spend some time picturing the kind of witch you wish you were, your ideal witchsona if you will. Then tell yourself that’s exactly who you already are. Keep reminding yourself whenever you feel disconnected from your craft that you are already an unbelievable witch.

✨ – Go back through your old book of shadows/grimoire and reflect on what’s worked for you in the past.

✨ – Wake up and tell yourself first thing “I am a witch. I am magick. My life is full of magick. I see and feel all the magick around me. I am a witch.”

✨ – Pick out outfits or accessories that make you feel witchy. (Bonus points for intentionally planning a super witchy outfit on the full moon)

✨ – Do a spell for anything that’s coming up in your life that you want to work out a certain way, no matter how trivial it seems. Test this week? Do a spell. About to start a work out routine? Do a spell. First date? Spell. Gotta stay on budget grocery shopping? Spell. Your worth it, it’s good practice, and if it all ends up working even better!

✨ – Write down spell ideas as they come to you. Save them as notes in your phone and then come back and flesh them out in your BOS later.

✨ – Come up with your own challenges! If you’d like to share, tag me on your post or send them to me, I’d love to hear your ideas!

  • Spoon Level you choose
  • Time To Complete up to you

The full moon is a great time to gather up some extra energy to use later when you need it.  For this super easy spell I’ve listed some basics, but you can adapt and change it to your own needs as you so choose.

You will need:

  • an object (a spoon, crystal, a rock, pendant, favorite necklace…)
  • yourself
  • the full moon
    • optional; moon water, storm water, salt water, etc
    • optional; herbs you like
    • optional: a black or white cloth (up to your personal pref)
    • optional: a charging board

  1. Go to a place where you can see the full moon.  A window will work, or you can go out into your yard, an enclosed porch, your deck, whatever.  If you can’t make it outside, just use visualization techniques in place of this.
  2. Take your object out.  If you want/have a cloth, lay it down and put your object on it.  Alternatively, just use the palm of your hand.  Let the object sit in the moonlight for a few moments while you center yourself.
  3. Cleanse the object.  You can do this however you like; washing it with moon or storm water, running it through candle smoke or incense, visually cleansing it, placing it atop a cleansing sigil, drawing an invisible sigil over it, etc, etc, etc.
  4. Start to charge your object.  Sprinkle it with herbs if you like.  Surround it with crystal chips or a grid if that’s your thing.  Use a charging board.
  5. Imagine a thin, silver spider thread of energy going from the moon and ending at your object.  The moon will charge your object, the object will store this extra energy for you to use.  You can say a prayer, an affirmation, or do a vocal spell during this part if you so choose.
  6. Leave your object in the moonlight for a while.  You can sit and meditate for a few minutes if you want, or leave it outside or on the windowsill overnight.  Whatever works for you.
  7. Return that thread to the moon.  Disconnect it gently, and imagine it slowly fading away.  Thank the moon for its blessing and energy, please.

When you’re finished, take your object and put it somewhere safe.  I like to wrap mine in a piece of white or black cloth to ward off anything that might try to siphon energy from it, so it’s still there when I absolutely need it.

You can charge more than one item during each full moon if you wish, but try to remember to dedicate the same amount of time/energy to each of them or you may end up with some stronger and weaker ‘batteries.’

When you need the energy, take out the object and connect your energy to it, using the thread technique or whatever other one you like.  Siphon off a little bit at a time until you feel better.  Make a reminder to charge the object during the next full moon after you use it.

As always, best of luck, my fellow spoonies.  <3

Also for witches who just don’t have a lot of time.
I have a lot of anxiety, which can lead to perfectionism, and stress myself out worrying that drawing in my grimoire will turn out horribly. I’m also naturally a pretty low-energy person, and can’t afford to spend all of it working on a single page. These are some things I use to speed up the process, and to make it much less consuming.

  • Check out the scrap booking section of craft/hobby stores. There’s many things you can find that could be useful, like small frames, borders, stencils, appliques, patterned paper. During Halloween they usually have more spookie-type stuff, like black cats and bats.
  • Washi tape. There’s so many different kinds of washi tape, and they make really nice borders. I particularly like the floral ones, and the ones with polka-dots.
  • Stickers. You can get stickers from so many places, and you can usually find some pretty cute ones, like animals or flowers, and seasonal ones for holidays/sabbats. Dollar stores also usually have quite a few in the school supply aisle. Online stores like LookHuman and Etsy have some fun ones, though they can get kind of expensive. If you have a printer, you can also try making your own stickers.
  • Craft scraps. Bits of colored paper, fabric scraps, ribbon, buttons, tiny bows. Anything you want. For example; I glued the last bit of some black lace ribbon to a page about graveyard dirt. My grimoire is a mini three-ring binder, so it’s easy for me to take pages out in order work on them. If your book does not have removable pages, be careful of the materials you use. Things that don’t lay flat, like buttons, can make it difficult to work on your pages.
  • Print out pictures. I try to avoid this unless I can really make it look nice, and not look like a school-project collage. Unless that’s what you like. In which case, go for it! This could also be an easier way to add in pictures of animals and plants without having to draw tiny little details.
  • Print out whole pages. (If you have a book to which you can add pages.) Things like recipes, articles, or anything information-heavy. I get that writing things down yourself can be helpful, and even make you feel more connected to your grimoire. But, personally, I don’t feel like every page needs to be hand-done. Some recipes I’ll keep on recipe cards in pockets/envelopes inside the book, or if I want full mythology stories, I’d print it out instead of trying to hand-write the whole thing.
  • Use photographs. These can be printed out, or maybe you have one of those instant Polaroid-type cameras. If you go on walks, you could stick in pictures of local flora and fauna, or make of page for spots around town that help you connect spiritually, like your favorite beach or a local cemetery.
  • Cut out pictures from magazines and newspapers. It can be difficult to find pictures that work with what you’re writing about, but it’s still worth flipping through them. Specialty magazines may work better, like a gardening magazine. Around September/October, history and travel magazines will usually do articles on haunted locations or the history of witchcraft in different areas, though I would check the accuracy.
  • Keep the drawings simple. There’s so many pictures floating around of these beautiful, hand-drawn grimoire pages. And while those are great, it’s also important to keep in mind that yours does notneed to look like that. It’s fine if you want something simple, or need something simple. It’s your book, do what works best for you. Don’t stress yourself out trying to make a masterpiece.
  • Write out your initial notes before copying them into your grimoire. For me, it would take too much time and energy to hand-write everythingtwice. I also tend to reorganize things a lot. So I use word documents on my computer instead. Most computers will come with some type of text program, like Notepad or Microsoft Word. If you need one, I recommend checking out OpenOffice, which works just as well as Word and can be downloaded for free.

That’s all I have! I hope it was helpful, and feel free to add ideas.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • a bowl
  • water
  • salt
  • lavender oil (optional; be sure it is safe for skin!)
  • a rag

INTENT: To bring forth positive thoughts and help reduce nightmares.

STEPS:

  1. Gather your water and salt into a bowl; use two drops of lavender oil if using.
  2. Let the tip of your rag soak in the water.
  3. Close your eyes and focus on the water. Charge it with positive energy by holding your hand over it, not touching.
  4. Take your rag and gently dab it from one temple to the other, using 5-7 light dots of the soaked against your forehead while focusing on positive energies.
  5. Save mixture and repeat daily and/or nightly.

Tips for lazy witches

We all love our witchcraft but sometimes you’re just too tired to do some certain things so here is a list to help make a busy witches life a little easier.

• too exhausted to make a sigil? Go onto sigilscribe.me and it creates a perfect sigil for you all you need to do is charge it!

• if you wear glasses enchant them so when you wear them when your tired they will help your eyes more

• when casting a circle do it metaphorically instead of lying down crystals, stones, salt etc.

• use music lyrics if you are too tired to create a spell

• want to increase or decrease things? Stir tea clockwise (increase) anti-clockwise (decrease)

• enchant your bed on a good energy day so on a low energy day it may help

• make little pre-made ritual and spell kits/bags so when you need to preform something all your measured ingredients and supplies are already there

* Happy enchanting ✨

Let’s be honest here. Most of us bedridden peeps don’t have an awesome bed setup like this, and our nature exposure can be limited. However, here’s some tips and tricks to staying connected to nature while stuck in bed, with contributions from myself (@heatherwitch),@thewitchofthenorse,@spooniewitches,@persephoneandthepomegranates&@theepagangrace!

  • Open a window, or crack the curtains
  • Hang rainbow prisms in your window
  • Keep a houseplant nearby
  • If regular houseplants require too much energy: Try cacti, succulents, lucky bamboo, or spiderplants!
  • Hang nature/forest/plant artwork around
  • Get air freshener or room spray that reminds you of the outdoors
  • Watch a nature documentary or shows with people exploring nature – check out nature (photography) videos on Netflix for calming videos
  • Listen to forest soundscapes [X
  • Set a nature scene as your screensaver
  • Keep a jar of soil around
  • Talk with any nature deities you work with
  • Follow nature blogs
  • Get sheets, blankets, or pillowcases with leafy designs, flower designs, etc.
  • Get a star map app on your phone to be more connected to the night sky
  • Have a vase of flowers (real or fake)
  • Keep crystals around that remind you of nature (Moss agate, petrified wood, onyx, selenite, agate geodes, etc.)
  • Use sigils designed to connect you to nature
  • Use air conditioning or a fan to make it less stuffy in your room
  • Read and write poetry about nature
  • Press plants/flowers or hang dried herbs by your bed
  • Spend some time looking outside of your window
  • Burn a nature scented candle or incense (Irish moss, myrrh, frankincense, opium, and lavender)
  • Use astral travel or dream magic to get to outdoor areas
  • Watch livestream videos of outdoor areas
  • Make a sachet of grass, oak bark (or whatever tree you like), quartz, and salt. Hang it near your bed.

With help from others:

  • Get someone to collect rainwater for you, and use it to wash your face
  • Ask a friend to take some pictures of cool places they go in nature and send them to you
  • Have someone collect rocks/plants/feathers etc. from each day and bring them back for you
  • Have someone pick wildflowers for you
  • Drink some herbal tea
  • Have someone you trust harvest wild edibles/berries for you – or at least bring fresh fruits and veggies!
  • Skype or video chat with someone while they’re outside
  • Take the scenic route/detour to some natural areas the next time you need a car ride

Dark chocolate (what I use) - grounding/fertility

Milk chocolate- balance/comfort

Preheat oven to temp it says on the cake box.

Mix everything into a bowl

Spray muffin tin with cooking spray stuff

For the Witch needing “Self-Love”…

Let’s face it, we all struggle with finding some special “me” time. By the time I get home from work, feed everyone and sit down and relax - it’s time to do it all over again. Here are some Witchy Self-Love tips to get you that extra care your mind, body and soul crave!

If you’re like me and suffer from mental health issues, (BPD, Depression and Depressive Anxiety) we all know how hard it is to take that step for Self-Care. Once you do, it feels amazing! I promise.

Notice how journaling keeps getting mentioned??!!?!?!

It may seem selfish to take a few extra minutes to yourself, but sometimes we need to in order to function. Here are a few things you can try that doesn’t take much effort:

I am a huge advocate for Spell Jars. If you struggle with finding “me” time, make a spell jar and carry it with out to radiate self-love at all times so you ever forget how special you are. Here are some examples, but keep in mind you are not limited to these ingredients, nor do you have to do it in any order. Just be clear with your intention and personalization!

I personally always say a chant as a I seal my jars. Try this if you choose that feels right to you:

As always, Blessed Be Witches!
