LIVE

does anyone know a spell to bring someone into your life? (story time under cut)

ok so on thursday me and my family went to this cajun restaurant (they wanted crawfish) like 10-15 mins away from where we live, and I see this worker: he’s white I presume, curly hair, facial hair, kinda cute. so I’m like lowkey staring every now and then I’m a scorpio I silently observe

then yesterday we went to this festival that’s pretty close to where the restaurant was. afterwards we’re heading back to the truck but my sisters were walking back to the restaurant because the eldest wanted crawfish again before she goes back to Dallas. so I jump out the truck and run after them. (I wanted to see if the worker was there and one of my sisters knew jdbdjd) when we got there I didn’t see him, but then my sister gets my attention and is all like is that him?? and I look and it was and me & my sisters were just smiling at each other.

∆Starting spirit work∆

When starting spirit work the best thing to remember is to never give up. There’s going to be many blocks and struggles for some, but that’s okay, we learn and grow from these. Also be aware of what thoughts you may have coming from your ego. ‘I’ll never be able to do that’, 'I can’t do this’ are a couple toxic examples, but any thought regarding you not being enough in any way shape or form can also add to blocking you and your spirit work. A great place to start would be by beginning contact with entities closest to you, a god that you’ve always revered, passed relatives that you knew personally and/or your own spirit guides. Starting small and close to you is the most important thing to begin with.

Energy work and meditation with anxiety and attention or focus issues can thoroughly be frustrating. I personally have suffered from the same struggles, however the one type of meditation/energy work that I found easiest to keep my focus is what I’d consider ‘interactive meditations’. My personal favorite being the energy breathing technique.

This technique is learning to focus on your energy and breath and expanding your energy as you breathe in and shrink ingyour energy as you breathe out.

You can come up with your own or find others that incorporate your continued focus and practice with those. Remember that starting slow and with short goals is always important. Set a timer for one to three minutes at first and get confident in that, then continue to slowly add more time to your goal.

*Side note* Don’t be hard on yourself when you lose focus, just breathe and reground yourself and refocus, even taking a break and going to drink some water can help too! Just be kind to yourself. <3

Is spirit work dangerous?

In short, yes, it can be, spirit work can absolutely be dangerous and most likely will be for most individuals at least at some point. However there are ways to protect yourself and bring these negative possibilities down, such as, putting up barriers around yourself and your energy, doing a reading on the spirit work you’re thinking about doing before doing it, take precautions and ask them many questions in order to break down a possible facade, envoke protective guides, gods and spirits that you have previously trusted to protect you. Even setting up early warning systems is possible as well. For example, keep in mind the work you’re about to do for at least two to three days, and ask your guides to show you signs of how they feel towards it. If you know the name, nature or type of being that you are going to come into contact with, ask your trusted entities about them. They can much safer take a look at their energy and intentions than you can.

(I can also do a much deeper post into spirit work and it’s dangers if wanted as well)

∆Witchy Reminder∆

Depending on what you personally believe in, no life is truly lost. You can always send love, energy, helpful spirits and protection to lives that have passed on, as well as give newly lost life’s the strength they need and a lovely road for them to continue on their journey.

What do you wanna learn about witchcraft, spirits and energy?

I truly desire to give all of you the most useful information I possibly can, so what would you like to see me research and post about? Feel free to message anonymously, DM me or just reply to this post. (〜^∇^)〜♡

∆Witchy Reminder∆

Never disregard your creativity, the ways you can send and portray your intentions are endless.

∆Witchy Reminder∆

Witchcraft is not always black and white, there are things that can go wrong and people or beings with ill intent, no matter what, always protect yourself. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Add white, pink, and red rose petals, honeysuckle blossoms and rose water to bath filled with water. Substitute hydrosols with fresh flowers if necessary. (optional esstial oils to add: lavender, rosemary, chamomile, and jasmine)

Place a rose quartz large enough to not go down the drain in the bath too.

Soak in the scented bath.

Find yourself in the stillness, calmness, quiet & peacful place in your bath amongst the loving frangrace of rose petals, flowers, rose water and essential oils. Place your focus now on the person who broke your heart or the memory that broke your heart… if you begin to cry, allow the tears to flow down your cheek and into the bath water. Say the persons name out loud and command that all the power and sweetness you gave to this person be given back to you.

Example : Gregorio, you broke my heart, and now I command the universe to give back to me, all the power, sweetness and love I ever gave to you. Gregorio, I gave you my heart becuase I found you worthy, I now command the universe to give me back my heart because I have realized the only person worthy of holding and protecting my heart is ME. I love me. I love me so much. I forgive myself for allowing for someone outside of me to take my power and break my heart. My power, my sweetness, my love, my heart is flowing back to me now.

After you have cried, yelled, said your affrimations, played with your roses, and anything else you felt called to do in your bath, take the rose quartz and place it on your heart… allow for all the emotions and tears that filled the bathwater to now drain out… as it drains out chant the words “I RELEASE YOU NOW WITH UNCONDITIONAL LOVE”

Following the bath, carry the rose quartz with you. Sleep with it under your pillow until you don’t need it any more.

There are 48 colors of the moon, but here are some of the most frequently talked about colors and what they mean for witches :) I will also discuss some things you can do on any full moon, whatever color it may happen to be! :)

How To Celebrate Every Full Moon

  • Gather moon water
  • Cleansing and charging warm-toned crystals in the moonlight
  • Painting
  • Doing shadow work whilst observing the moon and meditating

Full Moon Bath Ritual

  1. First things first, before you take this bath, clean the bathtub mindfully using the appropriate scents for your upcoming bath’s intentions
  2. Gather your favorite items and or items related to the pink moon such as stones, a specific drink of your choosing, candles, and perhaps either your shadow book or a book that you see if we connect with
  3. Turn off the lights and work by candlelight, perhaps with appropriately calming music
  4. Meditate in the water along with herbs, flowers, and bath salts chosen according to your intent. You can also finish connecting to each of the elements by adding in the elements of air through incense, however I would argue that the element of air is covered if you decide to take a hot bath or have some kind of purifier on in the room, creating a mist or fog
  5. You can finish your bath by visualizing the cleansing of your soul and magick as you drain the water, and then lightly clean out the tub once again to make sure that all of the herbs and flowers are taken care of and disposed of properly
  6. Finally, take note of how you feel after the ritual and record it for future use
  7. This is a ritual that can be adapted to any full moon, as full moon baths are quite a popular activity.

Pink

The pink moon in witchcraft is generally all about spring.

Also called the egg moon, the grass moon, the pink phlox moon, and many other names, the pink moon is mainly about fertility end growth. It signifies faith in the future and anticipates abundance, and is the perfect time to set new things into motion or make new commitments. It is also a good time to find courage, trust, adaptability, and maturity in relation to new paths in life. It is a wonderful time for reflection and shadow work, and it has been said that doing shadow work during the pink moon is more fulfilling on top of the many other feelings associated with the work.

Red

The red moon in witchcraft is generally all about fall.

Also called Hunter’s moon, the blood moon, the sanguine moon, and many other names, the red moon honors the year that has been and the sacrifices made by the plants and animals used to sustain us. It is a sort of celebration of life for the aspects of nature that gave their lives, and the day is spent honoring ancestors and releasing old griefs. It signifies growth, renewal, wisdom, company, and resting. Associations with the Blood Moon being an omen of destruction to come, but it is also generally understood that the night of the blood moon should be used to celebrate life and the flowing of life in relation to the flooring of blood through your veins. You are to make peace with your past and understand your shadow-self, balancing and enhancing your magical energies and powers through recognizing and letting go of grief.

Blue

The blue moon in witchcraft is an extra full moon in any season and occurs once every 2.7 years. There are some negative connotations fine Blue Moon because it confuses people who were attempting to prepare for various types of weather and crop rotations. This, and another negative connotation spawns from the fact that with the addition of this extra Moon there is an unlucky number of 13 full moons in that year instead of 12. However the Blue Moon is quite a fortune in time when it comes to Witchcraft because it is seen as a taken moment;  a time of the year that is separated from the norm and ergo the perfect opportunity to re-gather ones senses and hope for the superstitious “once in a blue moon” luck of something unusual. The blue moon is also a time where you should set goals, as they will be strengthened under this moonlight. You can also utilize the blue moon to call for safety, joy, peace, love, health, energy, and empowerment. Meditation is best done in the moonlight of this night, and most you will see better results from verbal magick and spells. This is the perfect time to prepare yourself for what’s to come. It acts as the perfect break to collect yourself before continuing on with your craft following this night.

sources: scattered but mainly from “Wicca Year of Magic” by Lisa Chamberlain. Overall a good book but here are a few gripes: not very inclusive.. just uses she/her pronouns when talking about witches. talks about requiring a lot of tools when not all are necessary. however it’s a good book for beginners, talks about history very well, and generally promotes differing perspectives and ways of practicing the craft

Having a Djinn Witch pathway has taught me the importance of vessels.

One tip I’ve picked up from this is to think of every flower pot not as just a home for your green friends, but at a vessel for another world. Fill each pot with elements from that realm and surround your work space with pockets of other dimensions to draw energy from. The happier these worlds are the happier you are.

This especially helps because your parents or guests wont be able to know what it is!
