What has been your most influential resource in your study of the Craft?
I’m not sure I can identify a singular most-influential resource. So, instead I’m going to provide a thought-provoking resource I’m investigating currently! I’m really enjoying the book’s exploration of magical theory. Despite reading many overviews of magical theory I haven’t really gotten what I’d consider to be a firm grasp on it yet (aka I don’t understand it well enough to engage in discourse about it, apply it to varied scenarios, and break it down to teach it to youth). I feel like magical theory may be the next deep-dive I indulge in. This is helping me get a grasp of what key words and topics I will want to start my research with.
There’s going to be a lot more than just magical theory in this book, but I’m just at the start. I’ll keep y’all posted as it progresses through the Little Work, which Duriel defines as a bit of a play on “The Great Work”, and as the everyday magical practices/work that is needed to truly progress towards Great Work and/or a balanced, healthy, and powerful magical practice.
In short, yes, it can be, spirit work can absolutely be dangerous and most likely will be for most individuals at least at some point. However there are ways to protect yourself and bring these negative possibilities down, such as, putting up barriers around yourself and your energy, doing a reading on the spirit work you’re thinking about doing before doing it, take precautions and ask them many questions in order to break down a possible facade, envoke protective guides, gods and spirits that you have previously trusted to protect you. Even setting up early warning systems is possible as well. For example, keep in mind the work you’re about to do for at least two to three days, and ask your guides to show you signs of how they feel towards it. If you know the name, nature or type of being that you are going to come into contact with, ask your trusted entities about them. They can much safer take a look at their energy and intentions than you can.

Depending on what you personally believe in, no life is truly lost. You can always send love, energy, helpful spirits and protection to lives that have passed on, as well as give newly lost life’s the strength they need and a lovely road for them to continue on their journey.
Never stop learning. Every day is a new chance to experience and learn more, whether that’s of the world or of oneself. And if you are teaching others, always encourage questions!!! It’ll get you thinking from perspectives you otherwise never would look into.
Start by bathing in the sage as you ground yourself. Snuff the sage and burn just enough of the dragons blood in order to inhale the smoke for protection then snuff it as well. Now hold your black candle in both hands and meditate with it, enchant it with the intent of it not only protecting you throughout your ritual but banishing and absorbing any and all negativity in order to make room for the healing. Now light it and set it down infront of you. Grab the mortar and pestle and one by one add the healing herbs in. As you do so say these words “Angelica, to heal the head.” And place a bit in. “Mugwort to heal the heart.” And place it in. “Cinnamon to heal the body.” And place that in. Lastly “And Myrhh to heal the Spirit.”
Grind this mixture up and repeat these words two more times each as you do. Then take a pinch and sprinkle it on top of your head, and another pinch and sprinkle it in the black candles flame. Now mediate on these healing intentions and energies for a few minutes.
Now burn the lotus incense just enough to breathe in it’s smoke, focusing on it opening your mind, body and spirit to the energies you have gathered and to the intent of what will come next. Empty the contents of the mortar onto your chosen papertowel or parchment and add the frankincense to it. Grind it up and add it to the bowl of moon water. “Frankincense to strengthen my spiritual abilities.” And three drops of ginger oil into the bowl. “Ginger to bring power and confidence along my path.” Stir the bowl, meditating on these properties and visualize yourself confidently walking your personal path, happy and strong, as you wash your hands in it.
Close by thanking the universe, yourself, your guides and deities that help you everyday, then blow out the candle.

A healthy dose of self criticism is perfectly fine within your craft, however remember not to wholly disregard everything always as you’ll lose confidence in yourself and much information that was otherwise important.
Happy vernal equinox! I hope you’re safe and remaining hopeful despite the horrific world events taking place. It’s a head-spinning, anxiety-inducing time. The past two years of the coronavirus pandemic have been filled with unprecedented challenges and uncertainty. Immersing myself in a writing project was my way to cope with a global pandemic that has affected everything and everyone. The isolation and prodigious amount of free time provided fertile ground for writing my life story. So it is with great pleasure that I announce the release of my autobiography, Riding Spirit Horse: A Journey into Shamanism.
In this spiritual memoir, I recount my journey into shamanic practice. It has been a lifelong process–a path that continues to unfold. I am sharing my journey and learnings because many people in today’s world are being called by Spirit to become shamans or shamanic practitioners. A yearning exists deep within many of us to reconnect to the natural world. It is a call to a life lived in balance with awareness of Nature, of Spirit and of Self. We live in a culture that has severed itself from Nature and Spirit. Humans have lost touch with the spirit world and the wisdom of inner knowing. The spirits, however, have not forgotten us. They are calling us to a path of environmental sanity, to rejoining the miraculous cycle of Nature.
The narrative of my story moves from my first ecstatic experience as a youth at a church revival to my mystical shamanic awakening in the wilderness, transformational pilgrimages to sacred places, working with indigenous wisdom keepers, to the experiences that prompted my writing, particularly my trance experiences “riding the drum” or Spirit Horse. Studying with Native elders and shamans, I discovered my shamanic gifts as a drummer, storyteller and ceremonialist.
A journey into shamanism is a pilgrimage of the soul. My journey has taken me down many spiritual paths. As a youth growing up, I embraced the teachings of Christ; I later studied and practiced the teachings of Taoism and Buddhism, all of which have their roots in shamanic practices from the earliest tribal communities. Shared core principles and truths weave a common thread through all spiritual traditions. This golden thread runs through the lives and the teachings of all the great prophets, seers and sages in the world’s history.
Ultimately, all contemplative spiritual practice leads to the evolution of conscious awareness and union with the divine in the present moment. The perennial wisdom traditions teach us that the “here and now” is eternal, unchanging and omnipresent; it should be the primary focus of our life. When we are not present in the moment, we become a victim of time. Our mind is pulled into the past or the future or both. The present moment is all we ever have. The eternal now is the fundamental ceremony of life. When we bring ourselves fully into the present moment, our life becomes a spiritual practice and an opportunity to ride in beauty on the windhorse of authentic presence! In John G. Neihardt’s book, Black Elk Speaks, Oglala Lakota holy man and visionary Nicholas Black Elk shares a great vision which came to him in the summer when he was nine years old and which guided him throughout his life. That vision was extremely rich in detail and symbolism, all of which became important to him in the years ahead, but one image which was revealed to him in his vision and informs the entire book is the image of two spiritual paths: the Red Road and the Black Road.
The Red Road or Chanku Luta, as it is known by the Lakota, is a metaphor for living a spiritual way of life. It is a unique spiritual path that runs north and south. The Red Road is a way of life and enlightenment which has no end. This road is described as narrow, winding and difficult to follow. During times of difficulty, the Lakota people could always rely upon the Red Road for strength and renewal, just as they could rely upon the Inipi, also known as the sweat lodge ceremony.
There is also a fearful black road of troubles and of war, which contrasts with a good red road of spiritual understanding. The Black Road or Chanku Sapa, which runs east and west, is a path of non-spirituality and self-centered greed. The two roads are said to cross in the center of the sacred hoop of the world, where the Tree of Life blooms. Walking the Red Road is a deep sense of obligation and a meaningful personal commitment to purposefully live your life each day, practicing and embodying the seven sacred virtues of the Lakota: prayer, honesty, humility, compassion, respect, generosity and wisdom.
Research and investigation of what’s actually the reality we live in takes time, effort and some practice, and I understand that not many people are willing to put in this work to wake up from this fake matrix world because staying in the bubble enables us to just mindlessly consume entertainment until we die. Even if you don’t come to the same conclusion as me (+ many others who were humbly and honestly seeking for the truth), it is still extremely important that you at least discover the facts, and only then you can make a mindful choice that is not based on assumption. Knowing what I know now, I would have never wasted ridiculous amounts of time on extremely useless things like scrolling through social media and chatting online, trying to make money or to make a name for myself, as if this is really all that our existence is about.
I’ve started a Google Drive folder that everyone can access who desires to explore the Truth behind the veil of mass deception from Satan with a lot of videos by all kinds of high-ranking whistleblowers in the fields of politics, military, intelligence, entertainment, organized religion, health system, etc. Also, some videos that provide evidence for the biblical account of Creation. The videos in the folder are numerated, so you’ll have a better overview. If you want to explore more, you can search YouTube or BitChute for the titles of the videos, usually I keep the same title of the content creator who posted it. The folder is updated regularly, as my research and study continues. It is my earnest prayer that some few are willing to start this journey out of the darkness of this present world and into the marvellous light that awaits on the other side. Friends, you can not possibly imagine how wonderful your eternal existence could be, away from this fallen broken dark planet that is unsustainable in the way humans naturally operate. God made many worlds and we can indeed explore them with all their wonder and miracles, the only thing He asks for is for us to love Him and to believe in His son who died for us. When we do this, He provides the strength, endurance, divine love, peace, healing, endurance, bravery and anything else that we need to overcome this world - we only need to pray humbly, ask Him, trust in Him & have patience! You have no idea how beautiful God’s presence feels! I wish that to literally everybody on the planet. He is just abundantly perfect and good. Halleluyah!

All politics are entirely useless and a pure distraction! the same goes for Hollywood & entertainment in general. If you are awake you can see their “hidden” agendas all over the music, movies and shows. I’ve entirely stopped listening to secular music, entirely boycotted entertainment and entirely stopped eating the junk that they are poisoning us with

Do not let people discourage you from voicing your concerns, opinions, or ideals. If what you have to say offends them or angers them, they are not on your path. You can only stay on your path when you live truthfully and with love, never forget that! Your true, honest self is perfect in the universe’s eyes, so why alter yourself to please others?
I was fortunate enough to notice this number today. Often called the Devil’s number, or Number of the Beast, this number actually represents a loss of focus! Whether it be straying from your spiritual path, or losing focus on what you’re trying to manifest, it is just a gentle reminder of everything you believe and stand for. This is why this number should be welcomed and not feared!
I have been rather silent over the last few months. I have been taking in all of the events taking place throughout the world. At this point, I can no longer be silent. It has commenced. It is here. It is NOW! Now is the time that many of us are here in the first place. If this in any way resonates with you, then you are fully aware of what time it is.
Many of us have been wandering lost upon this beautiful planet asking ourselves and our Spirit guides why we are here and how we are supposed to achieve the purpose for which we came. Through our time traveling down our various paths, many of us have come to the realization that we have been placed on this planet for this exact time. With the threat of a third World War and/or nuclear war imminent, the time has come for us to draw closer to and call upon our Spirit Guides and benevolent ancestors to help us to use our gifts and abilities in ways that are most beneficial at this time. If you find yourself operating in a state of fear or confusion, know that you are loved and you are not alone.
