Beh riusciti alla prima esperienza @mangioquindisono ha anche una ricetta senza friggere (io ho fritto di contorno cetrioli e songino con kefir, che trovo perfetto come salsina dei tostones… buon sabato! ( mi sto ambientando nella nuova casa prossimamente tornerò a produrre idee e foto di cibo sano)

Day 18 of #mayyourbackbend is a #dropback into #wheelpose. I love doing this as a warmup for my spine before class! Properly warming up is so important, and I think that is part of the reason that I have been able to steer clear of spine injuries (even though I do some really deep bends, knock on wood!) People ask me how I got my spine to where it is, and all I can say is that I work on it consistently and slowly. I came to yoga in my 20s, and am now more #flexible and #bendy than I was when I was 5!

I have the shoulder flexibility to achieve this, and also the knowledge and trust in myself that my foot is going to be there when I go to grab it! This is one of my #competition poses that I have done in both of my yoga competition seasons, so it is nice to be able to see the progress in this posture! Thanks Adrian Hummell for the photo!

Not so traditional Anzac cookies!

Ingredients:
• 1 cup of rolled oats
• 1 cup of almond meal
• 1/3 cup chopped macadamia nuts
• ½ cup medjool dates
• 2 tbsp. 100% pure maple syrup
• 2 tbsp. coconut oil
• ¼ tsp. baking soda
• pinch of Himalayan sea salt

Method:
• Preheat oven to 180 degrees
• Blend rolled oats until smooth
• Add oats, almond meal, chopped macadamias, baking soda and sea salt to a bowl and mix until combined
• Blend dates until a paste forms and add to mixture along with melted coconut oil and maple syrup
• Stir until well combined (may need to use hands!)
• Divide mixture into approx 1 tbsp chunks, roll and flatten onto a lined baking tray
• Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown
• Allow to cool and enjoy!

Citrus & Chocolate Tarts

Chocolate Cases:
• ½ cup of almonds
• ½ cup of pecans
• 2 tbsp of desiccated coconut
• 1 cup of medjool dates
• 1 ½ tbsp of coconut oil
• 1 tbsp of @lovingearth raw cacao powder
• pinch of sea salt

Citrus Filling:
• 1 cup of raw cashews (soaked in boiling water for 15mims to soften)
• ½ cup of coconut cream
• ¼ cup of fresh citrus juice (I used lemon, orange & lime)
• zest of 1 lemon
• 1 tbsp of maple syrup
• a few drops of vanilla essence

Method:
• blend nuts until fine and place into a bowl
• blend medjool dates until a paste forms and add to bowl with nuts
• add remaining ingredients and mix together until well combined, may need to use hands!
• press into tart cases or a small muffin tray
• refrigerate while making filling
• add all ingredients for filling to blender until smooth and creamy
• add filling to cases and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set!
• Top with slices of lime and lemon
