Feeling pretty good today! Finally got some good sleep, had a nice hot shower, got some coffee, and am ready to start the day! I cant wait to get to work on my art, my craft, and my magic. Feeling a lot of positive vibes and tbh it feel fucking amazing
I would be very surprised if anyone reading this has not heard of the term “Lay-Lines”. The lines of power that crisscross the globe, connecting famous landmarks.
But have you heard of Black Lay-lines?
The concept is that like standard lines they cross the globe however their influence is negative rather than positive.
Do you live in a community where bad things always seem to occur?
Where the residents are plagued by bad luck?
Do you always feel tired and drained no matter what you do?
Are you suffering from an illness that has never occurred in your family history?
When you are away from home do you always instantly feel better?
Then you might be living or working near to a Black Lay-line, natures little energy vampire.
What are they?
The earth needs balance, while normal lay-lines give off positive energy there has to be a counter to this, a return of the flow that draws this energy back into the earth and away from the surface and unfortunately anything in the area.
The good news is that like all lay-lines currently the energy levels are dropping off. The planet is currently moving toward the point where it will switch poles (North pole becomes the south pole). This has happen numerous times in the past and once complete all the lines will sing loudly again. It’s also possible that the reversion is causing more Black lines to form as more energy is pulled to the earth’s core.
It’s this decline that has made all lay-lines more difficult to locate in recent years. Our ancestors could easily feel the lines and position their structures to make the best use of them. Records show people recording sensations of feeling faint if they stood in a line too long, these days people struggle to even locate them and others have even stopped believing in them entirely. If you are interested in this topic search for details of the European space agencies “Swarm project” which is mapping the change as it occurs. They have also created a map showing major sights around the world were magnetic anomalies exist.
History :
Did you know that the term is fairly modern, Lay-lines only dates from 1929. Alfred Watkins he came up with the phrase actually decided that he didn’t like it and swapped to calling them “Old straight track” which was far less catchy. He was one of the first to notice that lots of famous sites around the world had been built on an alignment to each other and identified the lines of power.
Prior to this the lines were known by lots of different terms. The Native American Indians called them “Spirit Lines” and thought they were a connection to the spirit realm. The Druids used the term “Mystical lines”. My favourite is the east who called them “Dragon Lines”. Down under the Australian aborigines used the term “Dream lines”

How To Protect Yourself From Negative Energy
Protecting yourself from negative low vibrational energy has become a difficult task. The more you are trying to be a positive person, the more life throws curveballs your way. People will test you, but the key is trying your best not to let them bring out the worst in you.
*Negative energy attracts negative energy. Whatever you put out there comes back around, good or bad. That is the law of karma.*
These are the 4 ways I protect my energy at all times.
Stay Away From Gossip
.Gossip paints an impression on someone, which leads to judging people. When you start to judge people before getting to know their truth, it reflects poorly on you.
When you harbour negative feelings about someone in your mind, it either causes you to be passive-aggressive towards them. Or may lead to resentment, both these things breed negative energy.
Don’t Go Where You Don’t Feel Welcome.
Even if no one has outrightly told you not to be around them. You must trust your instincts, feelings and intuition. Energy and vibrations can be felt easily in a room. If the vibe feels off to you, do yourself a favour and leave.
There is no use forcing yourself to be social with people who don’t care if you are there or not. Other people value your presence in their lives and those are the kind of people you need to focus on.
Avoid Lashing Out.
Some people only want to bring out the worst in you or cause you to publicly ridicule yourself. It can be difficult because we can be very impulsive when we defend ourselves.
Thinking about what you want to say before, you say it may not work all the time. Take a breather, realize the motive and then respond accordingly. You have the right to defend yourself but resist the temptation of saying things that hit below the belt in an attempt to hurt the other person. This way, you don’t speak negative things.
Meditate To Release Unwanted Energy
I meditate every day to get rid of stress, worry, and anxiety. All of which are negative emotions. I’m the type of person that is affected by emotional stress. This translates into physical discomfort for me.
Meditation has become my go-to remedy for protecting my energy because it’s a chance to release all of that unwanted energy.

Let’s talk about grounding
To be grounded and centered is necessary to be mindful in your daily activities. It is also crucial, as we know, after a spiritual practice or after magick working. And in an overall view, to be grounded is good for you, as you can be a better version of yourself. So let’s tap in. Here are some grounding techniques which works for me:
The basic grounding technique is mindful deep breading.
Wherever you are, preferably in a quiet place, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Feel the fresh air filling your abdomen, your lungs, and your throat, then exhale slowly. Repeat until you feel connected.
If you’d like to deepen the effect, add a visualization.
Sit or lay down comfortably, eyes closed, and imagine that you are on the ground. Feel the soil beneath you, and imagine a flow of energy coming down your body and connects with Earth’s depths. The element you’ll be working with is obviously earth, so you may imagine yourself as a tree, deepening its roots into the ground.
Another option is using crystals.
Basically, any black, brown, or red crystal will do the work, as they refer to our first, root chakra which connects us to the physical plane of being. Personally, I prefer tiger’s eye, black onyx, and red jasper in my practice. As you meditate, place the crystal of your choice in your left hand (the ‘energy receptive’ hand), take deep breaths, and sense the crystal’s energy, let it ground you.
Note – make sure you’ve cleansed the crystal before use.
Foods and herbs for grounding:
Grains and their products.
Vegetables and berries.
Basil, oregano, thyme, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and rosemary.
Bonus–
Grounding herbal tea recipe:
1 cup of boiled water
1 cinnamon stick
3-4 slices of ginger
1 lemon slice
1-2 tsp. of honey
Mix the ingredients (except the honey) and leave it under a cover for 5 min. (so the essential oils won’t evaporate). Add the honey and enjoy your tea.
